House of character with panoramic sight on the sea which is to 3 km (as the crow flies) belonging to a private field including/understanding 3 completely insulated houses and independent one of the other,each one with its private swimming pool (blue, yellow one and presented the it here: the pink). Very calm place without neighbor, any comfort, decoration looked after, large terrace of 200 m2 with private swimming pool of 9 X 5 meters and a beautiful private garden. 3 bedrooms : two bedrooms double beds + extra bed, shower, sink and toilet in each room - a room with a single bed and bunk beds, sink and toilet (decorated for children but beds 0,90mx 2,00m ) -Stay and equipped kitchen (dishwasher, ceramic hob cooker, Senseo coffee machine, microwave ...) fridges with freezer, wood fire -Washing machine. -TV (Flat screens and DVDs in all bedrooms each with its decoder with access to all French channels, stereo and giant flat screen TV in the living room) - -Packaging air and heating in winter.Chassis double glazing and shutters.We ask a package of 50 € for the supply of bed sheets, baths and the complete cleaning of the house when you leave. Short stays allowed out of season.

Great quirky villa

We really enjoyed our stay at bollana. The pool was fantastic and was enjoyed by us all. The house perhaps needs some updating and attention to detail but was very homely and comfortable for our stay. Costas was very welcoming and intentive to our needs. Thank you for recommending Mili gorge we loved it.

Large house with pool and beautiful views of sea and country

The large property and house are very charming. They sit on the hills among olive trees with splendid views. A country road leads to it. The villa is fully equipped. The pool and outside furniture allow for perfect relaxing days listening to crickets. There are several terrasses to enjoy views and relax. Close to shops and beaches. Great tavernas in the area with tasty foods. Kosta welcomes you and makes sure all is well. There is plenty information given regarding house, pool, neighborhood, Crete, etc.

Ruhe & Entspannung pur

Wir haben das Ferienhaus gebucht weil uns Ruhe und Alleinlage wichtig war. Und mit Pool für unseren Sohn. Es war absolut traumhaft. Das Haus ist traditionell und wer Luxus sucht ist hier falsch. Aber alles ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich gestaltet. Wobei wir eigentlich nur zum schlafen im Haus waren, der Aussenbereich war richtig schön. Der große Pool wurde regelmäßig von Costa gereinigt, die Blumen blühen und Olivenbäume spenden Schatten, dazu der schöne Blick aufs Meer. Costas ist sehr hilfsbereit und ein ausgesprochen netter und symphatischer Zeitgenosse, der uns mit vielen Tipps geholfen hat. Check In und Check Out total unkompliziert. Rethymno in 15 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen da hat man dann alles was man braucht - Restaurants, Strand und ein tolles Nachtleben. Die Anfahrt über den Schotterweg ist etwas abenteuerlich aber noch 1-2 fahren ist das alles kein Problem mehr. Wir waren erst etwas besorgt, da unser Mietwagen Vermieter und off Road eigentlich verboten hatte. Aber auch damit hatten wir bei Übergabe keine Schwierigkeiten. Wie können das Objekt absolut weiterempfehlen, für alle die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Und denen Luxus nicht wichtig ist - wobei Ruhe und Traumlage waren für uns absoluter Luxus.

Un pur Bonheur

Nous avons passé dans la maison de Denise et Philippe un super moment de détente, perdus dans la montagne entre les oliviers et les cigales. Tout est pensé pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Nous avons été charmés par la maison dont la description est parfaitement fidèle à l'annonce. Mention spécial à Kostas aux petits soins pour nous et d'une grande gentillesse.

Paradise house in the wild hill of Rethymo

Very nice and sweat house with a superb view on the sea, the olive tree and with the song of the « cigale ». It’s a nice house in the wild on the hill of Rethymo. We have spent a very sweat time with the swimming pool. Perfect for good time in family.

Rural tranquility and convenient for getting around.

We loved the atmosphere of the location - amongst olive groves high above the sea. The property is also atmospheric- a little bit quirky and artistic. It feels also like a loved family retreat space. Thanks for sharing everything.

Quelle déception a eviter

Impatient de découvrir cette jolie maison, attiré par les photos, Quelle déception !!! Tout d abord Chemin d accès a la location difficilement praticable avec une voiture de location, conseil louer plutôt un 4x4. Enfin arrivé, extérieur conforme à nos attentes seul point positif par contre l intérieur deplorable ne correspond pas au standing du prix de la location (plus de l'ordre d'une cabane que d'une maison): ni porte(rideaux), ni cloison (planches en bois) aucune intimité avec 2 familles et les odeurs... (WC cuisine ) sont très dérangeantes. Le pire arriva a 4h du matin réveillés par des bruits (rats et souris) logés entre les tuiles et le faux plafond récurrent toutes les nuits Pour une semaine de vacance ce n'était pas reposant mais plutôt très oppressant. Le linge de lit et serviettes sont déjà très usagés. Si vous voulez un conseil passez votre chemin.

Madame, Etant donné votre manière d’agir depuis votre arrivée en les lieux jusqu’à votre départ, je ne m’étonne nullement de vous lire en ces termes peu élogieux. En ce qui concerne vos récriminations, je vais vous répéter ce que je vous ai déjà écrit : le chemin d’accès est un chemin privé qui protège le Domaine des personnes étrangères qui n’ont rien à y faire. Le site internet et les photos démontrent bien que la maison est loin d’être une cabane. En ce qui concerne les souris (qui sont en fait des musaraignes et donc loin d’être des rats !), la maison est isolée dans un endroit rural et donc oui…il y a des oiseaux, des souris, des lapins…Le concierge a réagit immédiatement à ce sujet lorsque vous l'avez signalé puisque jusqu'à votre arrivée, personne ne s'était plaint depuis le début de la saison. Pour clôturer, je suppose que l’état dans lequel vous avez laissé le bien en partant est ce que l’on pourrait appeler une « vengeance bas de gamme ». Les photos prises lors de votre départ attestent du « faites ce que je dis, ne faites pas ce que je fais ». Les personnes qui vous liront prendront aussi connaissance des avis des autres locataires qui eux, ont trouvé chez nous beaucoup de confort et de bonheur et je pense qu’ils pourront en déduire, comme nous, que dans les commentaires laissés sur internet, il y a de tout et qu’il faut faire un tri judicieux !

Super séjour dans une maison tout confort avec vue sur la mer. 2 terrasses idéales en fonction de l orientation du soleil. Merci à Kostas et Denise pour son aide et ses conseils.

excellent séjour au calme

Propriété bien située, au calme avec belle vue sur la mer ; les propriétaires sont très soucieux du bien être des locataires ; des renseignements sont apportés quant aux bons plans de restauration et d'excursions alentours ; la piscine est bien entretenue ; en conclusion un excellent séjour de repos.

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire dans cette maison rose ; il ne manque rien ici : très bon équipement intérieur et extérieur , pas de voisins à proximité. Endroit idéal avec des enfants ou bien tout simplement pour se poser et se reposer ! Kostas , notre interlocuteur sur place est très sympathique, serviable et de très bons conseils. Quant à Denise Fontaine, la propriétaire, très attentive au bien être de ses hôtes (petit message à notre arrivée ) . Pensons déjà y retourner avec grand plaisir !!!

Séjour de rêve

C'est la 3ème fois que nous séjournions en couple dans ce "petit coin de paradis". Car en effet, comment mieux décrire ce lieu? La maison est très cosy, son état de propreté impeccable. Le cuisine est très bien équipée pour qui souhaite cuisiner les délicieux produits locaux. Nous avons pu constater au fil de nos séjours que la maison est très bien entrenue. Un point tout particulier cette année, pour les deux magnifiques salles de bain flambant neuves. Bref, le soleil, la petite brise due à la situation en hauteur, la vue sur la mer, la piscine, tout contribue à de merveilleuses vacances. Nous y retournerons, c'est une certitude! A recommander sans modération!!!

Why they chose this property

Having spent my youth for 7 years during each summer holiday in Greece, my dream has always been to live in this country. From 1997 (when I have 45 years), I travel all over Greece and the Greek Islands in search of a property. In 2002 , I discovered the Domain Bollana and falls in love. In July 2003 , the final deeds are signed. In 2002 , I leave a part of the year in the blue house and I landscape pink house and am building the pool. In 2004, the Pink House is over, I leave in the pink house and I work in the blue house and am also a pool. IN 2005, I am building a third house (the yellow house). The property is very large and difficult to manage alone, in 2009, I sell the yellow house and the blue house. In 2012 , the yellow house is demolished and rebuilt by its current owner. This house is no longer available for rent. The pink house and the blue house welcome new tenants each year and older who return to the delight of young and old.
