Wonderful Place

We had a fantastic time at the house. The location is simply perfect. Right at the beautiful lake and not to far away from everything you need. The house itself is also really beautiful and got everything needed. You can do nothing wrong staying at this place.

Lovely stay on Lake Annecy

The location of the house, with direct access to the lake and it's own jetty, is absolutely unbeatable. Large garden, with areas for outdoor dining including a covered terrace. The house is not huge but it coped with 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Off road parking for 2 cars and covered storage within the grounds for bikes. 10 minutes from the centre of Annecy by bike, 5 minutes to the nearest bakery. We had a great stay, thank you Christine.

Great lakeside accommodation

We spent a lovely 7 weeks in this beautiful old house. We felt like we had stepped back in time onto a movie set of a European holiday. It was well equipped with everything we needed. There were lots of directions about how to work everything and how to look after the house. Christine was very helpful if we needed anything. The highlights were the view of the lake, the sunsets, the private pier and the provision of a canoe which our kids paddled in most days. The location is superb, being close to annecy, but also the lakeside villages. We bought second hand bikes from bazaar sans frontiers (which we can recommend) and then rode everywhere.

Perfect Waterfront Location in Annecy

We statyed there in late september and swam every day. The house is charming and is close to a good restuaurant and grocery store. It is right on the bike route and walking distance from Old annecy. Coming from Canada, and not having used VRBO in france before, there were a number of issues that needed to be resolved by the owner Christine. Most people likely know these things, but to have a zero stress experience, here is what you need to know. 1. There is a 1000 euro deposit. Unless you have a european bank account you will need CASH. There is also a requirement for damgage insurance. This is available on the VBRO website, and according to VRBO these requirements are common. 2. You will need to sign a renters agreeet in MS word. To sign this, you will need a print to PDF function and adobe reader. 3. If you require heat, you need to ask. This is very common in europe. 4. We needed 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrroms. We used VRBO serach to fitler for this. Many houses, including this one, charge less if you dont use all the bedrooms and lock out that section of the house. In this case, the 4th bedroom included the second full bath and was locked. Christine gratiously opened this up for us, but VBRO does not understand this partitionining on ANY property.

Special family holiday

We loved our stay at this house. The location was perfect as we had a boat with us and spent all the time on the lake. However Annecy is only a short walk away with plenty of restaurants . We wanted a family 'home from home' as it was my 6oth birthday celebration with all my children and grandson. We would love to return every year

Un petit coin de paradis

L'emplacement exceptionnel de la maison et du jardin, le charme resté authentique, la beauté du lac entouré des montagnes, le calme a quelques kilomètres d'annecy, les couleurs sans cesse changeantes, tout ceci offre un séjour inoubliable aux vacanciers qui ont un véritable "coup de coeur".

Une maison authentique au bord du lac

Des vacances familiales formidables dans cette maison dont le charme et l'emplacement offrent des atouts exceptionnels. Une terrasse en plein soleil, une très belle vue sur le lac, les montagnes et Annecy et un accès direct au lac directement du jardin. Nous recommandons ce petit paradis au bord de l'eau.

Site idéal sur le lac

Maison très bien située directement sur le lac, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement des nombreuses activités à proximité. Amélioration de l'accès et du parking depuis notre dernier séjour. L'endroit est très agréable et très bien équipé, idéal pour un séjour en famille avec des enfants.

L'accès à la maison est facile et privé. 2 places de parking privés pour le stationnement de 2 voitures ont été construites voici 2 ans et permettent un accès direct dans le jardin de la maison . Effectivement cette construction apporte une très grande amélioration.

Très belle maison de charmes et caractère.

idéalement placé avec terrain donnant au bord du lac. A 5 minutes d'annecy. Vous permet d'avoir tous les avantages d'être en ville sans ses inconvénients. 2 places de parking réservées (très appréciable en été). Voisinage discret.

Nous avons beaucoup appré...

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, la maison est idéalement placée face au lac, le jardin clos permet aux enfants de jouer sans danger. En revanche, la maison est assez désuète ainsi que le matériel et nous avons eu à déplorer toute la semaine les travaux de construction d'une piscine juste à côté (pelleteuse), pour lesquels nous n'avions pas été prévenus et qui ont entraîné beaucoup de bruit. A noter que la propriétaire, désolée des nuisances, nous a offert les charges non comprises initialement dans le prix.

"Merveilleuse maison ancienne, avec beaucoup de charme, idéalement située et très bien équipée. Jardin clos et agréable, avec de très vieux arbres, le lac au fond. Accueil et contact sympathique avec la propriétaire. Seul bémol : l''obligation de garer la voiture de l''autre côté de la route, mais surtout gênant à l''arrivée et au départ pour transporter les bagages. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir."
