About this property

Slope facing w/ Great View, Corner unit, Ideal Location

This great corner unit is located in Passage Point. From its location on the 1st floor of Passage Point it has views of the ski hill and the beautiful Ten Mile range. We purchased this condo in the summer of 2014. We continue to make improvements to our condo through out the years. Since we have owned it, we have replaced all of the furniture and have installed new light fixtures to brighten it up. In the 2nd bedroom we installed two sets of Twin XL bunk beds with new mattresses, big enough for adults. We remodeled the kitchen and entry bathroom, with all new cabinets, counter tops, tile floors, and stainless steel appliances. We put new carpet in bedrooms and living room, new tile in kitchen, entry way, and 2nd bathroom. We added some barn wood accent walls. Also we added ceiling fans in both bedrooms and family room.

There are several advantage of being on the enclosed end of the 1st floor. No hallway noise. You have access to the slopes, the pool and hot tubs, the ski lockers and the fitness room without the need to get on the elevators. Easy access to the 2nd floor laundry room via lobby stairs to 2nd floor.

This great condominium is located in Copper Mountain's bustling center village. Just steps away from the ski lift, this fabulous condominium is perfect for a get-away at Summit County's best winter ski resort. Our unit is on the first floor of Passage Point, featuring 12-foot ceilings with large windows. As a corner unit, our condominium has a large balcony with fantastic views of both the Ten Mile Range and the ski slope.

This elegantly appointed condominium has a king bed in the master bedroom and two sets of XL twin bunks (length as long as a Queen/King beds) in the 'bunk room'. In addition there is a comfortable queen-sized sofa-sleeper in the living area. It comfortably sleeps 8. The unit also has a full-service kitchen and eat-in dining space for cooking and dining at home. Relax and enjoy a movie beside the fireplace in the living room area.

Passage Point is the most requested lodging available at Copper Mountain. Your reservations include access to an on site work-out facility, ski lockers, two hot tubs, and a small heated pool. With over 300 inches of snowfall annually, Copper Mountain rivals the big-name Colorado ski resorts. However, with limited on site lodging, Copper Mountain is one of the most sought-after destinations resorts in Colorado.

For the winter, Copper Mountain has a wide selection of après-ski, dining, and entertainment. Enjoy ice-skating on the pond in the center village or sit by the fire pit and soak in the mountain air and make s'mores. Copper Mountain features one of the best ski schools in the country.

For the summer, Copper Mountain has a wide range of summer activities in the village, Mountain Coaster, Golf Course, scenic chairlift rides, hiking, mountain and road biking, climbing wall, bumper boats, go-karts, zip-line, and others. There is a beautiful paved bike trail that takes you to Frisco or Vail. If that is not enough, take 12 minute drive to Frisco and enjoy water activities on Lake Dillion, explore all the towns nearby, go shopping at the Outlet Malls in Silverthorne, explore all the beautiful trails outside of Copper Mountain, the list goes on.

No smoking and no pets are allowed !

A $250 refundable damage deposit is collected. It will be refunded after final cleaning, assuming no damage has been done beyond normal wear and tear.

ABOUT COPPER MOUNTAIN: Known as the 'Local's Favorite,' Copper Mountain is the largest ski and snowboard resort in Summit County. It is also the only ski resort that features naturally separated terrain, allowing beginners, intermediates, and experts to ski and ride on their own distinct areas of the mountain. Its central location (situated between Breckenridge/Keystone to the east and Vail to the west) makes it ideal for guests who want to get out and enjoy other resorts as well.
With 2,433 acres of ski-able terrain, Copper Mountain is the least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States' by the Forest Service.
It's also known as the Local's Favorite. Perhaps that's due to Copper's long, steep mogul runs, or its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing. True ski-in, ski-out units within steps of the American Eagle Lift.
Located on Copper Road, Passage Point is just a few steps to the Free Copper Shuttle that services the entire resort including the Ski School program in Union Creek as well as the East Village. The Summit Stage serves surrounding communities such as Frisco, Dillon, and Silverthrone.

The first floor location means you can get to the slopes without using the elevator. That's a big bonus during busy ski weekends. You'll be on the lift while those on the upper floors are still waiting for the elevator.

Fantastic location, super well appointed
Great place right in the village, first floor makes loading and unloading easy, hot tub is super close. The place is really well equipped- lots of thoughtful touches like usb plugs on both levels of the bunk beds for chargers. Highly recommend.

Best Organized and Equipped Rental
This is the best equipped and well organized rental we have ever used. Communication was great and the location at Copper was so good. It is one stop from ski school and just a short walk to the lifts at Center Village. This first floor property is worth your stay.

January 2024
The place was great. Very well-equipped kitchen. Loved the labeling of all of the shelves so you know where to put things back. Liked the bunk beds in that they were as described extra long -sometimes there is not much air up at the top where you are sleeping, but they were just fine. My 24, 22,and 20 year olds all slept in the bunks with no problem. Liked the master bedroom shower and especially the tub. Den was very comfortable. The trundle storage underneath both sides of the king and under each set of bunks was great. Each side had two giant drawers under the bed that I loved. Really, really enjoyed our stay!

Tom and Tina have lived in Colorado for over 35 years since moving from Indiana after college. They raised their 4 adult children in Colorado. All four of them are avid skiers and love the outdoors.

Why they chose this property

We love to ski and Copper is the best. We've tried all that Colorado has to offer and we keep coming back to Copper. We like Passage Point because it is in center village and an easy walk to the slopes yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to allow for some peace and quiet. We love this unit because it is in a quiet location with beautiful view of the Ten Mile Range as well as the ski slow. The unit is on the south east corner of the first floor of Passage Point. The perfect location. Because it's a corner unit it has windows and views on two sides, unlike most units. Because it's on the first floor it has 11 foot ceilings which really make it feel roomy and light. The other advantage of the first floor is that you can skip the wait for the elevator and right to slopes, the hot tubs, or the fitness room.
