Welcome to Turtle Cove, an upscale waterfront retreat for two in the heart of Marathon, where Atlantic sunrises, canal sunsets, tropical breezes and laid-back Florida Keys living come together.

Our private second-level home offers two completely different views of island life. From the living room, look out toward Oceanfront Park and its lush palm canopy. On the canal side, the bedroom captures beautiful evening sunset views, while your private waterfront tiki hut invites you to slow down, sway in the hammocks and keep an eye out for our resident family of manatees.

At approximately 740 sq. ft., Turtle Cove features a surprisingly spacious one-bedroom floor plan designed for two, with comfortable indoor living areas and two covered outdoor spaces that make the home feel even more expansive.

Waterfront Living, Keys Style

Outdoor living is one of our favorite things about Turtle Cove.

You’ll have two covered outdoor spaces to enjoy during your stay. Beneath the home, a covered terrace overlooks Oceanfront Park and offers a shaded place to relax and enjoy the tropical surroundings.

Along the canal, your private tiki hut creates a completely different experience. Enjoy morning coffee, read a book in the hammock chairs, dine alfresco beneath the thatched roof, or raise a glass as the Florida Keys sky changes color at sunset. Ceiling fans and tropical breezes help keep the space comfortable while you unwind.

A farmhouse-style dining table makes the tiki hut perfect for outdoor meals, and two waterfront barstools offer a front-row perch for sunset watching—or for spotting our friendly manatee neighbors drifting through the canal.

At this point, we sometimes think we should have named the house Manatee Cove. Our resident manatee family seems to think they own the place!

Oceanfront Park—Right in Front of the Home

Oceanfront Park sits directly in front of Turtle Cove, giving you easy access to one of Marathon’s most enjoyable outdoor spaces.

Start the morning with a peaceful Atlantic sunrise, wander the scenic walking paths through native Florida vegetation, play on the newer pickleball courts, or launch a kayak from the park.

The park also hosts fitness and wellness offerings, including yoga and sound bowl healing, all with the Atlantic Ocean as the backdrop.

As an added wellness touch, guests can enjoy a complimentary online gentle Pilates class from Privé Pilates. “Relax Your Back” is a slow, restorative, gentle class filmed right here in Oceanfront Park and designed to help release tension, restore movement and improve mobility. Yoga mats are provided in the home so you can enjoy a little R&R whenever the mood strikes.

A Bedroom Made for R&R

We are all about rest and relaxation at Turtle Cove.

The bedroom features a KING-size, high-quality memory foam mattress on a Pottery Barn platform bed, dressed with soft Egyptian cotton sheets, thoughtfully selected pillows and fresh bedding.

We love the comfort and attention to detail of a beautiful five-star stay, and we care for Turtle Cove with that same philosophy. Our towels, bedding and pillows are regularly updated, while the mattress and pillows are protected with an additional layer of protective covers.

A spacious double closet gives you plenty of room to unpack and settle in, and an LG stackable washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the bedroom.

The bedroom also overlooks the canal, giving you beautiful sunset views at the end of the day.

Cleanliness Is Part of the Experience

Turtle Cove was renovated with our own allergy-sensitive family in mind, so cleanliness and thoughtful maintenance are especially important to us.

The home features bamboo flooring, non-feather pillows, carefully selected bedding and central air conditioning with the HVAC filter changed monthly.

Our sofa covers are washed monthly and refreshed between guests because we believe a vacation sofa should feel fresh enough to actually nap on. Kick back, stretch out and relax knowing this is one more detail we take seriously.

We regularly refresh our towel, sheet and pillow inventory with new pieces, so your linens feel fresh, comfortable and thoughtfully cared for. Cleaning supplies are also provided for your convenience.

Turtle Cove is **strictly smoke-free**, and guest pets are not permitted due to significant family allergies.

The light-filled living room offers comfortable seating, views of Oceanfront Park and a lush palm canopy just outside.

Stay connected with Wi-Fi or unwind with the Smart TV and DIRECTV offering more than 125 channels, including ESPN. It is a comfortable spot to watch a movie, catch a game, read or simply enjoy a quiet afternoon indoors.

Kitchen & Dining

The open kitchen features white cabinetry and stainless-steel LG appliances with everything you need for easy meals at home.

The adjacent dining area can also double as a comfortable workspace, giving you room to enjoy breakfast, open your laptop or plan the next day’s Keys adventures.

Instacart delivery makes it easy to stock the kitchen, while Marathon offers everything from casual dockside seafood to more elevated waterfront dining when you feel like going out.

Grill, Fish & Dine Outdoors

A stainless-steel Weber Genesis grill is available for easy outdoor cooking—perfect for grilling fresh local seafood or enjoying a relaxed dinner by the canal.

The dock area also includes a fish-cleaning table with water and electricity for anglers returning from a day on the water.

Please note that Turtle Cove does not offer boating access from the canal. A public boat ramp is available nearby for those traveling with a boat.

Spend the day at Sombrero Beach or Bahia Honda State Park, stroll the Old Seven Mile Bridge, visit the Turtle Hospital, head to Key West for the day, or stay close to home and enjoy everything Oceanfront Park has to offer.

Then come home, settle beneath the tiki hut, listen to the palms move in the breeze and watch for the manatees as the sun goes down.
