"A lovely little home fro...

"A lovely little home from home, much nicer than a normal apartment, completely independent. A short walk ( slightly uphill) to Bus stops and a great viewpoint of Genoa city. Enrico and his wife were very helpful. We look forward to staying there again very soon."

Well-designed house in a quiet neighbourhood

The house is bigger from the inside than from the outside. :-) We loved the well equipped kitchen and the tasteful interior. The next Carrefour is just a few minutes away. To reach the city center, one can either walk down through the typical narrow streets and stairs or take one of the elevators. We fully enjoyed our week in the house - highly recommended.

Amazing!

We stayed one week in the apartment and it was just perfect. Genoa is a beautiful city to visit and also the perfect place to go on daily trips to the Cinque terre or Portofino for example. The apartment is five minutes away from the historical centre of Genoa, wich you can reach with two lifts, and placed on a hill where the view at the city is spectacular. Enrico received us very kindly and the apartment had everything we needed.

Lovely cottage in nice area

The cottage is perfect for 2 people. Clean and located high above Genoa in a nice area. Enrico was easy to contact and helpful and the cottage was clean. And well stocked Downside was the parking. There was a reserved space but the gated entrance was very narrow (less than an inch either side of the car to spare) so unfortunately we scraped our Mercedes.

A very good time in a very good house

In the middle of Genova a nice house. Enrico and his wife explained a lot of Genova; that helped us, to find quick the best places in our first visit in this city. The house is quite, nevertheless near to the several evelators, which brings you for free in different parts of the town. We did not need our car during this week and had a interessing week in Genova.

Lovely little cottage

This was a lovely, little, stand-alone house, originally renovated for family use, now rented out. It is very clean, comfy, with a homelike atmosphere, and very private. It provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is also a little garden where you can sit outside and overlook the valley. The only reason I gave the location 4 stars, is because the house is located halfway down a steep narrow street, and also has steep stairs inside, so would not be suitable for someone with mobility problems or very young children. Otherwise I highly recommend it. My thanks to Enrico and his wife for their help and hospitality.

Just cool

We spent ten nights in this fabulous small house with a lot of marble and air conditioning, which was not just great but absolutely marvelous in Genoas summer heat. The neighbourhood is very mountainous but offers some spectacular views over the city - and is easy to reach thanks to all the free elevators in town. In the nearest surrounding are a lot of very nice restaurants and a 24/7 supermarket. The historic city center and the harbour are easy to reach by foot in a couple of minutes downstairs. We had a great time in this superb city - thank you Enrico for your hospitality and especially for the tip to go to the beach at San Fruttuoso!

Surely a home to come back to

The overall experience was fully satisfactory. We arrived late in the evening and the owner had us perfectly directed to the house. The parking requires some skills, but parking in Genoa is never easy! Make sure you can close the side mirrors. The house is just perfect, we found everything we needed, from basic food supplies, to books, to infos on Genoa, dvds and more...plus there is a nice quiet garden (winter weather was nice this year), and it is a standalone house, so no noisy neighbours. WIFI is working well. The location is superb, as from the doorstep everything is reachable in 10 minutes walk, like the centre (museum etc.), or Spianata, or the supermarket. The owner has been very kind and helpful, and although he was on holiday, he had our arrival perfectly organized. So Grazie Enrico, thanks to you we had a great holiday in Genoa.

Très bien

Petite maison très bien placée pour découvrir Gênes sans voiture. Enrico est très accueillant et de très bon conseil. Le seul petit bémol : il ne faut pas avoir une voiture trop grosse pour accéder au parking.Nous retournerons sans problème.

Dank des unkomplizierten und zuvorkommenden Empfangs unseres Gastgebers fühlten wir uns im gemütlich eingerichteten Häuschen sofort wohl und kamen nach ausgedehnten Streifzügen durch die interessante und spannende Stadt jeweils gerne zurück. Zu Fuss mit Lift oder Bus ist man schnell im Zentrum.

Gute Lage für Städtetour

Wir waren 3 Nächte in dem Haus. Die Lage ist top, der Aufzug in die Stadt 200 m entfernt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sauber und völlig ausreichend für einen Städtetrip. Lediglich die Terrasse ist immer mit Vogeldreck überzogen, da wäre ein dichtes Dach nötig. Die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz ist abenteuerlich und nur mit kleinem Pkw möglich. Wir haben deshalb ein Parkhaus benötigt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Kleines gemütliches Haus, mitten in der Stadt.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Häuscchen, mitten in der Stadt, sehr genossen. Man wohnt sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Enrico ist eine sehr netter Gastgeber und beantwortet alle Fragen. Wir bekamen auch Tipps für die Stadt.
