Splendid Apartment - Algarve

Large 155 m2 Apartment with a 55 m2 balcony facing the Quarteira beach just across the boulevard. All you will need to id a you sandals, a towel and a pair of sunglasses. Forget about driving, traffic jams or any stressful every day situation.

This apartment is a 3 Bedroom penthouse, with the main suit facing the beach, you go to sleep to the sound of the surf and wake up to a refreshing sea breeze and a reinvigorating 180 º Ocean view.

2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, plus a BBQ at the front balcony, as extra amenities we provide Cable TV and free internet access in case you want to check the rest of the world while you enjoy paradise.

The apartment is on Quarteira beach shore line, one of the very known Algarve touristic beaches, and as expected you are a walking distance from a large number of very nice restaurants and beach pubs. There are places for all tastes, ranging from gourmet restaurants to family dinners.

You can take a walk along the 5 Km pedestrian boulevard and choose a restaurant for typical Portuguese cuisine, shell fish specialties, as well as salad bars and pizzerias. You can also book sea cruises and, sea sport activities as para-sailing,jet ski, etc. from the beach in front of the apartment.


As Quarteira is an Old fisherman village you can still enjoy traditional old markets were you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables every Wednesday morning from 8 AM to noon and for the sea food lover there is a fish market where you can buy fresh sea food and fish right out from the fishermen’s boat.

Amazing holiday

Thank you Nelson for the attention and care, lovely apartment! Falling asleep with the sound of the ocean and seeing dolphins at 6 in the morning in front of the balcony were absolute highlights. The whole family loved it!

Great place right on the beach

This is the place to stay if you want a huge terrace overlooking the beach. So it could do with a bit of tlc, but the beds are comfortable and everything works. If you want the ultimate in luxury go elsewhere, but you will find it hard to beat the location of this apartment. Waking up to the sound of the waves (or the birds in the back bedrooms) is pretty much unbeatable.

Right on the beach

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It was the entire top floor. There is a small elevator if you don’t want to take the stairs. The views from the balcony were amazing!!!You could easily sit out there all day and watch people on the boardwalk and the beach. There are tons of shops and cafes right downstairs. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking during your stay here. We also had pizza delivered one evening. The bathrooms were clean and nicely done. The beds were all the most comfortable we experienced on our trip in Portugal. There is a washing machine and clothes line for drying clothes. WiFi was fast and worked great. We would highly recommend and definitely stay here again!! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Thank you!!

L appartement était vraiment très sale La cuisine était pleine de fourmis dans le four il y avait encore des morceaux de jambon voir photosNous avons dû laver tout à la main parce que les assiettes et autres sortaient du lave-vaisselle pleins de fourmis. ( elles doivent être dans les tuyaux).Propriétaire de très mauvais foi. Il ne veut rien entendre en prétextant que ce n est pas si terrible à croire qu il doit vivre au mieux des fourmis. Nous payons 150 euros de nettoyage c est un scandale. Dans l annonce il y avait une place de parc en arrivant nous avons dû en trouver une pas de place disponible

Résumé de la situation des clients La réservation initiale prévoyait 8 personnes pour 4 nuits. Cependant, des clients demanderont exceptionnellement de l'huile pour un groupe de 10 personnes, dépassant ainsi notre capacité maximale habituelle. Par la suite, nous vous demanderons de prolonger votre séjour de plus d'une nuit. Comme nous ne pouvons pas modifier le site, nous vous demandons de le faire. Pour finaliser la modification, une demande de paiement a été générée, mais le montant de la journée supplémentaire devra être perçu directement par moi, et non sur la plateforme, ce qui n'a été découvert qu'après le paiement et sans que celui-ci ne soit effectué. Pendant mon séjour, je n'ai reçu aucune réclamation. Le stationnement était facile à trouver, car des places publiques gratuites étaient disponibles, comme indiqué dans l'annonce. De plus, les clients peuvent profiter de ces conditions sans frais supplémentaires. J'ai décidé de l'installer en juillet, après tout ce qui a été fait. Si le prix est désormais plus élevé en raison de la mise à niveau, veuillez ne pas désactiver l'équipement, ce qui permettra au groupe d'en profiter librement. Réclamations tardives Cela ne se produira qu'après le départ, lorsque vous demanderez le paiement d'une nuit supplémentaire. Le client a formulé plusieurs réclamations concernant son séjour, notamment le manque de propreté et la présence d'enfants, demandant une réduction sur le prix. Malgré mes doutes quant à la véracité des réclamations tardives et n'ayant jamais été contacté pendant mon séjour, j'admets avoir eu un problème avec mes amis. Une fois, pour des raisons inconnues, Prague a été laissée de côté cette année. C'est pourquoi, et en toute bonne foi, j'ai proposé une réduction de 120 € pour le paiement du prix. Les accusations de « malhonnêteté » sont inadmissibles. J'ai été totalement transparent et prêt. Au contraire, les clients ne respecteront pas le règlement intérieur en fumant à l'intérieur de l'appartement. L'intense fumée de tabac dans le salon et la cuisine après leur départ est évidente, car il est uniquement permis de fumer sur la terrasse. En résumé, l'attitude des clients, les réclamations improvisées et le manque de respect pour les vraies réclamations sont pour le moins regrettables.

Pondo de parte a questão da limpeza, o apartamento é grande, tem uma varanda virada para o mar excecional. Está muito bem localizado e para quem quer passar férias e não ter que pegar mais no carro durante a estadia, é uma óptima escolha.

Absolutely gorgeous!! All you need is the terrace in this place trust me . Talk about living on the beach. WOW!!!!!! Woke up in the morning thinking I actually fell asleep on the beach. Right on the water with beautiful views. Everything else was just a bonus. If you literally want to be on the beach look no further.

The apartment is a little outdated, but enough space for a large family. It’s the top floor so you get a full patio porch with barbecue grill facing the beach. Walking distance to everything. Nelson is a great host and is ready to assist with anything you need.

Excelente localização , na primeira linha da praia e a 20 passos da areia. Varanda enorme virada para a praia , com magníficas e amplas vistas e equipada com tudo o necessário para usufruir dela ! A casa muito ampla , com excelentes áreas e bastante funcional , muito bem equipada e não nos faltou nada ! Tinhas tudo e “ mais alguma coisa “ ao nosso dispor . Apesar da falta de parque de estacionamento e das dificuldades em estacionar nas imediações e da casa precisar claramente de manutenção em algumas coisas , nota máxima, porque tendo em conta que não existem soluções perfeitas , esta opção/casa muito perto disso !

Soundtrack Second to None

Every bit as good as it looks and a soundtrack that can't be beat. Our stay was fantastic and Nelson was a super host. Nelson was very engaging and joined us on a hike with his visiting extended family. We did run into a few glitches with the apartment, but they were eventually dealt with. It's location is perfect. One can walk to all the required amenities as well as restaurants and bars. An additional hammock would be perfect (less jealousy). An absolutely perfect place for a summer vacation. Thank you for letting us share your apartment.

Very comfortable large apparment to the beach. All the equipment you need is available but also very used. The beds are good. Parking your car might be a problem. There is one thing I did miss : Air conditioning. I would come back next year.

Beautiful beach front apartment

We were 10 people and stayed at this place for 3 nights. All of us enjoyed it very much, we had BBQ at the terrace twice and it was beautiful having the beach, the sea and the sunset just behind us. Even if you don't see the sunset directly the sky turns like a rainbow anyway. The kitchen was well equiped and the bathrooms very nice and clean. Nelson, the host, gave us a very warm welcome and was available for any further questions. In conclusion we will definitively come back one day, thank you very much! PLEASE NOTE: THE APARTMENT DOES NOT PROPERLY FIT FOR 10 PEOPLE, 8 IS THE ABSOLUT MAXIMUM TO HAVE ENOUGH COMFORTABLE BEDS. WE COULD MANAGE SOMEHOW BUT WOULDN'T GO IN SUCH A BIG GROUP AGAIN.
