Amy and her husband was quick to communicate with . They did their best to resolve any problems we had. We unfortunately had a unforseen issue occurrence happen during our stay but Amy worked really hard to fix what had happen. All turned out fine. Things happen but she was on top of it. We enjoyed as much as we could. We were returning customers so we knew all about the house. We will book again in the future. We love the community and local area.

This cottage is in a wonderful location. It is nice that it is pet friendly. Unfortunately it was very dusty and there was mold in the master bath and on the screened in porch. It really needs updating.

This is a wonderful property. It feels more like a home because of the great screened porch and layout of the property. This was our second visit and we will plan another trip soon. It is so easy to get in and out of since parking is right out front.

4/10 Poor

The property looked like it had not be cleaned in a while. It was neat and tidy, bed, pillows, clean bedding, clean kitchen counters, clean tub ---- however, the baseboards were extremely dirty and there was dirt and dust in every corner. The kitchen has a terrible junk drawer and the items in the kitchen cabinets were very old... oil, spices, etc. The coffee maker had not been cleaned in some time so was not usable. Coffee tasted terrible. We saw silver fish in the kitchen and throughout the house. There was a big dead roach in the bathroom when we arrived and the master bathmat was filthy. The walls were badly beaten up and some quite dirty. Some trim molding was missing and it seemed things could crawl up from under the house. The furnace intake grate in the hallway was so disgusting... dust all over it. It hadn't been cleaned in years. We went to get the broom to kill a roach and the end of the broom was covered in big bunches of dust and debris. The couch and chair in the living room were quite dirty. We put towels down. We couldn't get the back door to lock. The guest toilet is not fully attached to floor. I sat down and thought it was going to break off. There were no tissues and there were no kitchen dish towels, wash clothes or paper towels. We each got one towel and two washcloths for the week. It's a shame because the place was very cute at one point. If I had a cute place like that in that great location I would keep it maintained or sell it.

This charming and comfortable cottage provided an ideal getaway. We loved the spacious living areas and well-stocked kitchen, but especially enjoyed reading and hanging out on the screen porch. We love biking at the beach and were able to ride easily to Huntington State Park and the Murrells Island Marsh Walk. Best of all, we were able to bring our dogs who enjoyed their daily walks throughout the neighborhood.
