We just ordered tempurpedic mattresses as well as all new bedroom furniture hand made with natural Costa Rica wood. We are very proud of our highly competent staff and efforts they make to insure that everyone leaves with a memorable positive experience! They also operate our in house tour company that provides services ranging from transportation to zipline, fishing, surfing. waterfall, hiking activities, etc. The Monaco offers a one stop shop for all your vacation needs.

Excellent Stay

Condo was exactly as described and in photos. Very clean and comfortable. The host Scott was very accommodating when we needed to change our stay dates during the busy season. Check in was quick, office staff were helpful in booking excursions. Gate security was excellent. Jaco is beautiful and this place is close to everything.

Don’t hesitate , do stay here.

Ithe property has everything : location, great staffing , great swimming pools, clean in fact there is housekeeping every other day , secure, etc. I can’t wait to go back. Scott was always available and immediately responded positively to my various texts.

Wonderful

Absolutely loved the Monaco Condo - just as described and very very easily accessible to all of Jaco restaurants and the nearby market for fill ins. The two pools were lovely and there was constant maintenance on the property. The grounds were well maintained and the staff very helpful, particularly the management office which recommended and arranged tours for us. I can't say enough good things about our stay

Beautiful Property

Our family couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to stay. The Monaco Condo with its two pools and the most beautiful landscaping and flowers was exactly what we needed. The beach was only steps away allowing my son and I surfed ever morning and evening. Scott, the owner and staff were so professional. We were greatly surprised to learn the property was gated with 24 hour security guards and that there is a fully staffed hospitality office. The condo manager, Ingrid and her staff were so attentive and helpful in booking our excursions. We where even more surprised to learn housekeeping was provided to clean our unit ever other day. I have never experienced a better managed property. We are already planning our next trip back. The Overman Family

The property was beautiful. The staff was amazing. The location was excellent. The time of year we visited (mid August) was perfect for us. There was enough going on and not too crowded to the point of being overwhelming. I will seek out this property for future use.

Great location!!!!

Great location walking distance to everything. No issues with noise and I stayed for almost a week. Best air conditioning in Costa Rica. Front office desk is helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Thanks for your feedback. Sorry you were having problems with the Wi-Fi connection. Consistent high speed Wi-Fi in Central America is problematic depending on your location. Nonetheless, the Wi-Fi connection should be good. Sometimes the Wi-Fi connection will shift from one unit to another. When there is a weak signal, you have to make sure that you are connected to unit 14. We have our own high speed router and we added a Wi-Fi booster.to strengthen the signal.

Beautiful Condo, Great Location, Excellent Staff

First time visiting Costa Rica, and it was amazing! We were given some simple instructions from the owner about getting to Jaco via the toll road since we rented a car, and after about an hour and twenty minute drive from San Jose, we arrived in Jaco. We did use Waze, but it took us directly to the Monaco. We were greeted by two young ladies in the office, Ingrid and Edel, who were so pleasant, helpful and answered all of our questions. The Monaco is beautifully landscaped, clean and has a guard at the front gate the greets you every time you come and go from the property. The condo was very clean, spacious and welcoming. It is located in the center of town, so there is a grocery, a pharmacy and several restaurants just across the street. We walked across the street, got some groceries and staples for the week. The condo had everything we needed for our stay, dishes, small appliances, silverware, glasses, soaps, shampoo, linens, hair dryers, and toiletries. Didn't need anything, except what we wanted to cook for ourselves. The girls in the office helped us book our zip-line trip, informed us about other activities and things to see, what a blast! The pools were awesome, not busy and very clean. There are a few grills by the pools in case you want to go to the local meat market and get something to grill. The beach is two blocks away and is neat to watch the surfers catch a wave. We were able to walk from the condo to both ends of the beach, and never needed a taxi. This was a wonderful vacation, and we would book this condo over and over again. Thank you Scott, what a great experience!

The property and the staff were excellent as usual !

I stay at the monaco very often and this time i had a different condo , number 14 . Room and staff were perfect as usual . However the only downside was that the room is directly behind a nightclub which plays its music so loud the windows rattle til 3am every night! Stay at the monaco for sure just not in room 14 if you like sleeping .

Thanks for the feedback. We are sorry to learn that you were disturbed by the noise from the restaurant/club near Monaco. We are in the process of addressing the issue with the city officials. Addtionally, we have consulted with other owners that replaced their sliding glass doors with double pane doors that eliminated the problem. We will have them installed soon. In the interim, we have fans available in the unit that help reduce noise on the nights they play music.

An American feel in Costa Rica

Nice kitchen, had everything I needed to cook for my big family. The condo was very comfortable for my family. Tv’s were also in English which was nice. Also, it’s right in the center of town which made it easy to get around. Nice pools and rooms cleaned every 2 Days! Front desk was helpful! We enjoyed our stay and the American home style condo! Only thing that we weren’t used to, is the disco next door that plays loud music till 2a.m. We cranked up fan to drown noise. However, it isn’t a deal killer. This place is awesome in price and quality, compared to rentals we used in San Jose!
