Rio Copey 2 townhouse near the beach in Jaco

Two-story vacation rental townhouse in small, gated community with pool located in quiet cul-de-sac. Only a 5 minutes' walk to the main street in downtown Jacó and 8 to the beach. Walk or bike anywhere in town, or easily call a cheap cab if you need a longer ride.

This townhouse has 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs, with corresponding bathrooms. The upstairs bedrooms have each Queen beds, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with shower, TV, closet, dressers, and large balconies with seating. The balcony in the main bedroom has rocking chairs and views of the pool area and the green forested mountains as backdrop.

The bedroom downstairs has a nice wooden bunk bed (Full below and Twin above), floor fans and a bathroom with shower across the hallway. The bedroom downstairs can also be cooled with the living room air conditioning.

The living room has air conditioning, comfortable upholstered sofas, TV and a wooden dining table for 6 (larger than the one shown in pictures). Cable TV and free Wi-Fi are included. Outdoors on the terrace facing the pool there is an aluminum and glass table with four comfortable chairs and an umbrella, as well as a charcoal BBQ grill and two lounge chairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove/oven, air extractor, microwave, large fridge, and all utensils.

There is a covered garage for one car and there is free street parking around the cul-de-sac.

The community has a caretaker on the premises and dusk-to-dawn security.

The maximum occupancy is for up to six adults and children 3-17 years old, or three single adults. A maximum of two children under 3 years old do not count towards this total.

PET RULES:
Pets allowed: only one dog (25 kg maximum) of quiet nature, or two dogs that together do not sum up more than 25 kg. A $25 pet fee (plus VAT) per stay per dog will be requested on arrival. This pet fee does not cover damages caused by pet. Dog must not climb beds or furniture. Dog is not allowed at the community pool area and must be on a leash when walked outdoors. Owner must collect and dispose properly of all dog waste. The is out-of-bounds for dogs.

We'd stay again

Our host Gabriel and Tito the maintenence guy were both helpful during our stay. The check in was easy, the place was clean and there's lots of room. Everything you need is there. There were a few things that we were in need of and Gabriel was very attentive and thoughtful in the process. And it's down a cul-de-sac, so it's quiet and yet so close to everything. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us😊

Real decent hideaway

The location is perfect seated near Central strip, but far enough back to clear the noise. The condo is clean and roomy enough for a family with amenities to match. All expenses were spared when selecting mattresses and bedding and you may want to wash everything first as the first rooms bedding seemed high in allergens (dust, mites) and the second contained insect caucuses when inspected. Fortunately, there is a washer dryer on site. You may also want to bring your own toilet paper. If you drink the tap water, you will need plenty and ultimately prefer a brand that does not expose your finger on the first pass.

My only concern was that it seemed like some kind of rodent was in the home. We kept hearing noises inside the house like if a rodent was scratching on the ceiling, we also found dust fallen on the floor. I am thinking maybe an iguana was stuck in the roof or something. Other then that no complains.

Both bedrooms upstairs have balcony's very nice! leather rocking chairs on balcony were very comfortable with morning coffee. Individual AC was very nice. The pool was very nice, lots of use everyday. The pool was very clean. Neighbours were very friendly and welcoming. All Jaco has to offer is only a short walk away. Our vacation rental was with less then 24 hours notice and Gabriel was very accomidating and quick to reply with all our concerns. We required a couple minor things fixed and they were fixed in a very short time. For us 3 adults the size was perfect, I would not suggest 6. 2 couples would be max. Only 2 lounge chairs by the pool. We were able to use the neighbours chairs. They were very nice. The living room furniture requires to be replaced. The bed in bedroom at the pool side was very squeaky. I mean very squeaky. The vanity in bathroom requires minor updating. Overall the place is a very good rental at a reasonable price.

Sin embargo, pensábamos que la parte de abajo era más grande, y falta un aire acondicionado en el cuarto de la planta baja, así como mantenimiento a algunas partes de la casa y un mejor acceso al Internet, ya que la velocidad es demasiado baja. No obstante, para una estadía corta es un bonito lugar, pues además es silencioso.

La casa está muy bien equipada, las habitaciones muy acogedoras. La cocina tiene todo lo necesario. El condominio en general es un sitio muy tranquilo para descansar y pasarla bien. La ubicación es excelente, a walking distance de cualquier sitio en el centro de Jacó pero sin sufrir el ruido y movimiento que tiene.

Reviewer Comments: Estuvimos hospedados en el condominio, el cual está ubicado en una zona muy tranquila a dos cuadras de la avenida principal de Jacó y a tres o cuatro cuadras de la playa. La casa es muy confortable, con dos cuartos en suit y balcón,uno de ellos con una agradable vista al jardin y a un campo de cultivos, ambos muy cómodos. En la planta baja hay otro cuarto también agradable. La cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario para para preparar el desayuno y las demás comidas, cuenta también con una pequeña barbacoa, lavarropas y secadora, lo único que me parece haría falta un tendedero para la ropa ya que todos no acostumbramos a secar la ropa con calor. Después todo estuvo muy bien, desde la gente de Seguridad del condominio que es muy agradable y atenta hasta las personas de la inmobiliaria. Con gusto recomendamos esta casa.

We especially loved the well-equipped kitchen because we really didn't need to bring ANYTHING to be able to prepare meals for a group. Exceptionally clean throughout the unit and feels like a neighborhood with permanent residents right next door. Very friendly folks! The management were very cordial and helpful, even went before us and turned the A/C on to cool it down prior to our arrival. Nice!

If you are looking for a place with a pool, kid pool close to the beach and center of town this is perfect. I was on a fishing trip with the guys and it was perfect. close to center of town and a short less than 10 minute cab ride to Los Suenos.
