Dream stay! Absolutely stunning property, beautiful home, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Really enjoyed the garden and pool. Perfect for a family holiday. Can’t recommend enough and really hope to return soon!

Amazing Chateau - Highly Recommend

The property was incredible and even better than the pictures/descriptions. Perfect for a group of friends or couples going on holiday. Fantastic family vacation

The property is stunning - with plenty of character and room for everyone. The outside areas are fantastic - the pool is perfect, there are shady places under the trees no matter what time of day, and the outside dining area is a treat that we used all the time. Combined with a large and functional kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, there was not anything else we could have wished for! Thank you so much to Florent and Mikel for looking after us and to Isabel for allowing us access to your beautiful retreat.

Perfect family getaway

My family—seven of us — spent the Christmas holiday at Bastide Clos Bonnet. It was perfect for us. Large comfortable house to accommodate an extended family. Bedrooms were large and airy. Bathrooms all with modern conveniences. The kitchen was very well stocked and easy to navigate. The grounds are beautiful even in winter. Easy access to Aix and the autoroute for day trips. Host and caretaker were excellent. They even made sure we had supplies to decorate for Christmas. Loved our stay. Thank you for a memorable Christmas holiday.

A wonderful week at Bastide du Clos Bonnet

We and our friends have just enjoyed the most wonderful week at the magnificent, elegant and spacious Bastide du Clos Bonnet on the outskirts of Aix en Provence. The Bastide has recently been renovated to the highest standards so that it has modern amenities yet retains its historic ambience. Each bedroom has its own charm and our group of 14 adults was very happy spread across the 8 bedrooms. The garden and pool are also superb. the manager who lives next door was very attentive to any questions. It was an easy and inexpensive uber ride into or home from lovely Aix for those who did not want to drive. the location near the A8 also made it easy to visit neighbouring towns and areas like the Luberon. Thank you Isabelle for letting us stay in your gorgeous Bastide. I hope we will be back.

Very good property - beautiful grounds and everything needed was there. Only two issues - the location of the property does not allow you to walk - a busy road and no footpath outside the property. We had a number of keen walkers in our group so that was disappointing. Also - wifi issues meant tv could not be watched (signal kept failing). Wifi needs an upgrade.

Thank you for your comments and happy you enjoyed your stay. There are many places to walk nearby but one does need a car. A shorter walk is available at back of property and we should highlight this in a welcome book. As for wifi, fiber has finally reached us and we are being connected before the end of year.

Provence Tour

This impressive and spacious Bastide provided great accommodation for a group of 6 couples. Abundant communal space and sufficient privacy with paired bedrooms and bathrooms. The grounds were lovely and the pool superb. Downsides- it is getting a little 'shabby chic' but the kitchen was large and superbly equipped for a large group. The constant beep of reversing machinery was irritating but no fault of the owners (and it will pass). Excellent location for Aix en Provence (5km) and easily booked Uber services for night time in and out of town. An easy drive of around 30 minutes from the Airport and/or Marseilles (to which we were also able to taxi for sporting events over the weekend). A short drive and beautiful drive to the Luberon and villages such as Lourmarin. I'm not usually one for making recommendations but, for Bastide Clos du Bonnet I would say book it well in advance!

Charming and wonderful property which provided a true chateau experience in Southern France

We were extremely pleased with the property. It felt incredibly authentic. The pool, gardens, outdoor dining arrangement, fountain -- all perfect areas to explore. The kitchen, library, study, all wonderful spaces to enjoy inside. The rooms were spacious and each had a bathroom. I highly recommend to others if you want to experience summer in the South of France.

Désolé du désagrément. Nous avons fait intervenir et le gardien et le pisciniste dès que vous avez constaté quelque chose. L equilibre d'une piscine est délicat et dépend de la filtration du nombre de baigneur, de la température ext et du suivi des instruction robot etc... Malgré tout elles peuvent tourner. J'espère que cela n'a pas trop impacté votre séjour et vous souhaite une bonne fin d été.

Magnifique maison dans un parc très bien entretenu

La maison est très confortable, spacieuse et agréable, avec de nombreux espaces extérieurs. La piscine est grande (19m) ce qui permet de faire des longueurs, et bénéficie d'un vrai espace à l'ombre. La grande cuisine est un vrai plus, donnant sur l'extérieur. L'accueil de Florent est au top. De belles prestations dans une vraie maison de famille décorée et entretenue avec beaucoup de soin. La localisation est idéale (20mn de la gare TGV et de l'aéroport, 10mn du centre ville d'Aix.) Un petit bijou !

Beautiful house, lovely stay

We had a very pleasant stay at Isabelle’s place. It was surprising to see how well furnished the house and especially the kitchen was. Everything was there for all necessities. The house is very authentic and charming, the grounds are huge and well taken care of, and the pool is perfect for kids and grown- ups. Very highly recommended.
