Ski at Val d’Isere

Excellent location, quite small but comfortable. I wish the cost of linens would just be included at booking time though. It seems like an unnecessary extra after paying for the booking.

Exactly What I was Looking For!

The apartment was centrally located in the heart of Val D’Isere. Restaurants and shops were all within walking distance and it took no more than 2 minutes to walk to the main ski lifts. A great location for anyone looking for an easy, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while enjoying some of the best skiing around. The host was communicative and responsive and made the check-in and check-out process very easy. Could not be happier with my choice!

Short snowboard trip to Val d’isere

We had a great time. The location was great and the communication and check in was very efficient. However the property was a little small for the advertised 5 people, we would have really struggled if there were of us, thankfully only 3 of us came. The property was tired, with loose plug sockets, missing skirting boards, a broken tap handle. It needs some work to bring it back up to a good standard of finish.

You had booked for 3 people from the start. Those who book for 5 are warned that the cabin is suitable for 3 children more than 3 adults. Plug sockets are unfortunately damaged by tenants who do not notify me. Tap handle is indeed too fragile for rental but it is often unscrewed and not broken. And I do not understand about missing skirting board. Your indications lack precision and are late because I had asked you, as to everyone, to tell me what was broken at the end of your stay. Also you had a contact on site to repair what really bothered you. Apparently you haven't contacted her.

Apartment not suited for four adults - the room with three beds without ventilation nor any extra space isn’t OK. Maybe for two small kids. Bathroom is not built for manage four people either. Otherwise the apartment is situated prime in Val d’Isere.

I'm sorry you found the apartment too small for 4 adults. The surface area of the apartment and a detailed plan are included in the ad. So you shouldn't have been surprised. The areas are always small in the mountains. The more space, the more expensive. Usually, people follow one another in a bathroom. The apartment has controlled mechanical ventilation in all rooms for healthy ventilation, including the cabin.

Great appartment close to all amenities

The appartment was great for 3 of us for a 5 day stay; its within walkig distance of everything (lifts, shops and bars) so there is no need for a car. Florence, the 'on-site' contact was great and arranged to get us some bread and milk as we were arriving late.She kept in contact during the week to make sure we had eveything we needed. The apparment is warm, comfortable and has everything you need. The wifi was great and worked consistently during our stay. Val D'Isere isn't the cheepset resort but we managed to find several bars with a 'happy hour' - either 2 for 1 or a free shot. The sking is fantastic and this year excellent snow conditions meant there was no need to rush out to get the first lift as the piste remained in good condition unitl late in the aftrenoon. I would recommend both Val D'Isere and this propertty.
