The condo was so cute, super close to the shuttle, and had all of the basic things needed. Be sure to check the pantry and refrigerator for staples before grocery shopping bc there were several things available that we didn’t need to invest in (spices, staples, etc.) and we left a few helpful things as well for the next guest(s).
We had a wonderful time in Angel Fire NM. The condo was clean and prepared for our arrival with the heat and a lamp turned on for us. The condo was very cozy and comfortable and well decorated. The host had the kitchen well equipped with all the necessary items. All we had to provide was the food and drinks. The garage was very helpful with all our ski gear. We had a beautiful view of the snow capped mountains. The shuttle across the street was very helpful with small children and big kids at heart to get to the slopes. We hope to be able to stay in the future. Many thanks to our host.
Overall, the place was nice. The location is perfect for skiing right by all of the ski rental places and just across from the cougar bus stop for the shuttle. The place could’ve been a little bit cleaner. We really enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

Thank you for the feedback. I will correct this with our cleaning crew!
Rental was just as described. Nice, clean and Cozy. We had seven in our group and it was a perfect fit for us. Ski slopes close by and shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Plenty of things to do and good places to eat. I give it 5 stars.
We took our two teenage boys skiing for the first time. We all had a great time skiing and enjoying the mountains. This condo is in a great location and had everything we needed. We all played dominoes one night and also watched three of the movies the owners have available, there is a large movie selection. Highly recommend. Love Angel Fire!
We had an absolutely blast at Angel Fire ski resort and at this property. The property was perfect for our family of 4 plus 2 extra adults. We did have to remove a lot of snow on the balcony to utilize the patio and BBQ pit, but that was really no big deal. The property is perfectly located on the shuttle to get to the ski resort, but it also a 2 minute drive to the parking lot if you'd rather drive. We will definitely be back!

Great location and relatively clean. There was no place to take our trash - the instructions indicated we needed to haul our own trash out of town to a location that wasn’t available when we arrived (the gate was locked). A BERY frustrating end to a pretty good trip….

This was my mistake in providing the wrong address for the city trash dumpsters. I apologize. I have corrected the address to all future guests. Thank you for pointing this out. Todd Graybill
Fabulous location with the bus stop right outside the front door. The bus dropped us right at the lift. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a couple of meals. Only negatives were some of the dishes needed washing before we could use as they did not appear very clean. Also a bit strange that we had to take our trash to a center not on the property. Otherwise a great stay, the host was very quick to reply to all my inquiries.

Sorry the dishes were not completely clean. Thank you for the feedback! We will have this promptly addressed with housekeeping.
Overall the condo was great. It’s a prime location to drive or take the shuttle. It would be a bit of a hike to walk, but doable. It was a perfect fit for 3 grown men, each getting their own space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The garage spot was a big plus as well. The biggest downsides were that the walls seemed very thin, so you can hear every creak and movement, inside and outside, all night long. Also, highly recommend bringing your own pillows for comfort. This condo gets the job done- I would stay there again.
We had a great time at Sol Escape. Unit was clean, comfy, well organized, well stocked, and was so nice to have a garage to park our suburban out of the weather. The friendly property manager promptly arranged a maintenance man to remedy a bath exhaust fan found non-working upon our arrival. The condo was cozy and comfortable, although the floors were a little squeaky in spots. Would love to have had a hot tub to soak in, thought it had one per listing when we booked it, but there was not and later found listing updated for accuracy. Was very nice being walking distance to the ski base. Overall we enjoyed the stay / experience and we’d consider staying here again if we ever return to Angel Fire!
This condo was in a great location for the slopes! Our family really liked having access to the garage to store skis and boots. Everything inside was fully stocked and easy to find. The main heater was great to warm the entire condo. However, there was a slight smell of smoke and the downstairs bathroom had a strong musty smell that we could also smell in the kitchen. The pillows weren’t good and some of the bedding was worn out. The coffee pot appeared to be stained, but actually just needed a good cleaning. We had to clean some of the dishes and pots before using them as well. The owner responded quickly and allowed us to check in a little early which was very nice! They were very accommodating! Lots of storage and places to hang ski coats and bibs. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate the feedback from our guests. These issues will be addressed immediately. We are always eager to improved the experience of our guests.
We enjoyed our stay here. The location was wonderful, especially the shuttle service stop right across the street for taking us to the Ski Resort!
This is an older home, but taken care of. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you. You can hear every movement from upstairs as well as whenever someone used the shower and toilet.
Kitchen was well stocked with plates and cookware. There weren't any paper towels and we only had 3 rolls of TP for our stay of 3 days with 10 people. Called and asked about this. Property manager said they would reimburse if i went into town and bought more which was nice, but we never had an opportunity to do this.
Only 1 TV in the whole house. Bring a roku or firestick as there is no cable/local channels.
Other than the toilet paper hiccup, we had an enjoyable trip.

Thank you for making us aware of the paper towel and TP shortage. We will replenish immediately! Glad you enjoyed your stay.
Fantastic stay!My family loved every bit of this condo. Great location, the shuttle to Angel Fire Resort and ski slops literally outside your door. Basically in town, so close to restaurants and stores. However, very quiet at night, we heard no outside noise at all.The condo is large enough to house plenty of people, but still cozy and well decorated. It had everything we needed and more, it was so nice to actually stay in a house well equipped, especially in the kitchen. The heaters worked great, we ended up being hot the first night because we felt like we had to turn it up higher, you don’t, they work very well to warm the entire condo. All the beds were comfy, water was hot when needed and able to allow all of us to shower at night. The patio was nice and large and we were able to grill out one of the nights. The garage is a life saver if it rains or snows, definitely a perk as most places say the garage is off limits to guest. The host was available and communicated well. Restaurant recommendations were abundant in the condo handbook. We’ll definitely stay here again!!
We were impressed with the attention to detail, the ease in communicating with the owner and manager, and with having everything we needed to feel at home and enjoy our ski trip!
This is a great location and our teens could come and go by catching the shuttle bus which took them right to the main lift at Angel Fire!!!
This place was perfect location, close to ski area and restaurants! It was very well equipped with everything thing you needed! It will always hold a very special place in my heart because we found out we were going to be grandparents again! Hope to be back next year with our new grand baby!!!

The condo has a cabin feel and was very clean and perfectly located for skiing in Angel Fire. We had an impression from the online pics that it would be larger than it actually was, however, it was plenty big for our family of 5 that stayed. It could have accommodated even more if needed. It was set up with all amenities and the owners were very kind and responsive. The balcony and view is nice We very much enjoyed the stay.
We reserved this property through VRBO (void #473857) for Presidents Weekend February 2014 and fell in love with it! We have owned this property since May 2014. We live in Oklahoma and stay in our condo as often as possible. In the last 6 months we have enjoyed discovering and experiencing the local restaurants, hiking, fishing, golfing, visiting the entire Enchanted Circle, and updating the decor of our place. We have skied New Mexico for 40 years and are extremely pleased with Angel Fire Village and Resort!
Why they chose this property
This condo is perfect for skiers, golfers, boarders, hikers, mountain bikers, and as a mountain retreat. It is a cozy, relaxing, scenic condo.
We chose this comfortable 3-bedroom townhouse which can easily accommodate more than one family. We love the view out the picture windows of the pine trees and snow capped mountains to the northwest. The vaulted ceilings and cozy fireplace make for a great mountain feeling. It’s convenient having a garage for storing all our gear.
What makes this property unique
We have a local property manager watching after our property, and he is available to take care of any problems you might have. We want you to have an awesome experience on your vacation in our home. We take all the bookings and are available to answer any questions you might have. We think we got it right. We hope you think so too!
