Gulf Front Beachside- Old School Beach Charm. 2 BR Condo with Gorgeous Ocean views; 2 pools; full size washer and dryer in unit; brand new condo post-Sally. New mattresses and new couches in den. King-sized bed with brand new mattress in Master Suite and new XL Twin over new Queen mattresses in bunk beds in the guest bedroom. Sleeps 5. No elevators. Come visit Gulf Shores and enjoy its old-school beach feeling, minimal crowds and traffic and laid-back lifestyle. Walk to The Beach House for the best fish tacos and cocktails around. Janino's Pizza is across the street. Head less than half a mile down beach to The Beach House for yummy fish tacos and Happy Hour or just walk down the beach to the Hangout or Bahama Bob's for drinks and dinner. There are plenty of grills beachside for you to cook up your own catch either that you caught fresh that day or from S&S or Gulf Shores Seafood down the street. Or simply sit outside the condo or on the beach directly in front of it and enjoy the sunset. Thanks.

Very Nice

Very close to the beach and all areas of town. Parking was good. Ike’s chair service is a good investment if you are going to the beach.

Great place to stay

There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. Room was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Only complaint was listing said hot tub on site but there wasnt one. Will definatly stay here again

Perfect Location

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy walk to some food spots, but quick drives to other locations as well. Beach was clean and nice view of ocean from deck. Kitchen was perfect for quick meals or sitting and eating together. As my 4 year old said, This is Fantastic!

First gulf shores trip

The view from the condo is wonderful.you can see the ocean from the balcony.it is a very short distance to the beach.you are also close to the restaurants and shops.the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable.plenty of parking also.my dog Lilly also enjoyed her stay

Great Location

Right on the beach!! Great place to shore fish and fish in the lagoon. State park wasn’t that far away and has super bike trails. We liked that this condo was west of the main intersection but a few stores close enough to be convenient. Oh and the beds were very comfy!

Very convenient

We had a great stay here. Owner was nice and prompt with replies. The condo, while older than some of the other buildings on the beach, was conveniently located and spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Easy access to the beach.

Great 1st GS experience!

This was my first time to Gulf Shores, the property was a good location, great rates and right on the beach! Stephanie was great and I can't wait to go back! The absolute worst thing I can say is parking isn't exactly big truck (dually) friendly, but we made it work. I highly recommend staying here.

Good property, thin walls

First off we enjoyed the condo and everything was as described and proximity was good to the beach and the two pool options, one in front of property and one across the road was convenient. The biggest negative, and not entirely the issue with the unit, the walls and floors are super thin. The family below us had several little kids that ran, threw thing and yelled constantly. Odd that we could hear this in the unit above but it was clear and was like they were in next room. All this affected our sleep and family time. Even when the family left another group checked in and same issues although not as many kids but just so you are aware. All this to say good location, there were a few maintenance issues need to be addresssd but we would most likely rent again.

Great host, great property and great price! One one knock...

Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Nice view of the beach. The host was very helpful, respond quickly and accommodated us when asked! The only knock I'd give this place is that the bunk beds in the spare room where my kids were sleeping was very noisy. Any little movement in those beds you heard lots of loud squeaking. It was almost impossible for anyone in the condo to get a good nights sleep due to that. If there were new bunk beds in the room our stay would have been perfect!

I did not give 5 stars because the condo could use some updating. This condo has a wonderful side view of the Gulf. Just 2 flights of steps and you are there on the beach. The kitchen was staffed with everything needed to prepare a meal. There was limited seating in the living room, but I am sure the new owner will place more seating in that area. Most of all it is pet friendly and my 2 little girls enjoyed the condo as much as we did. We will visit again.

Perfect location

This condo was the perfect spot for us to have a nice beach week. So close to the beach and pool that it felt very easy to enjoy with our two kids (6&3). My only comments for future renters is to go ahead and grab extra toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen trash bags when you get your groceries as we were only provided one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels and one kitchen trash bag so we had to make a second trip to get more supplies after we had already gone on our grocery outing before check in. Also, I worried about the glass wear all week so if you have small kids, bring a more durable place setting for them to use. Overall fantastic experience and if we come back to Gulf Shores in the future we would definitely consider staying here again.

Awesome location

We had a great stay! The location was fantastic. The kids loved the pool, we loved the beach. The only thing I would add as a negative was the bed in the master was pretty bad, you sink in the middle and every time I tried to get in it it creaked so loud it woke up our baby! We actually made it a game throughout the week to see if we could get in without waking up the baby. Ended up waking up the baby laughing! If you are staying for a week bring extra laundry pods, extra tp, a dishwasher pod or two. If you are only staying for a few days then there are 2 laundry pods and dishwasher pods included. Not a great selection of pots and pans but as a host myself I understand and realize people’s complete disregard for nice cooking ware. Overall we had a lot of fun and would stay here again.

Great condo and beaches!

Stephanie was great to work with. She responded right away to all emails. The condo was great, everything we needed for our stay. The beach was amazing and we sat many times just watching the dolphins out in the waves. Both condo and beach were very clean. Our only issue came in parking. When it rains, the parking slots hold water. We were under the impression parking was not assigned, none of the slots were marked for specific units/owners. Our 2nd night, we parked in a spot, directly under units 109/209, so we did not have to step out in the standing water. The owners of unit 109 could be heard screaming from the parking area that we were in their spot. Very rudely (and that is being nice) came up telling us we were in their spot and needed to move our car. We explained we did not realize there was assigned parking and were told they were owners and it was their spot. While they apologized later, it did not negate the way the situation was handled. The owners of unit 110 parked in the main lane blocking the first two spots under units 110/210. If owners have assigned parking spots, they should be clearly marked and renters need to be aware of this rule. Thankfully, the condo was not full so were able to easily find parking.

This was such a great place to stay. There was an issue with the air, we had to come a little late, we were refunded quickly for the night we missed and the unit was nice and cool the next day. The owner was so nice to work with. We will be back for sure

Good locale for the price. Parking was great! Minor plumbing and bed problems but nothing that spoiled the trip. The host was very receptive. Best place for the $$. Would stay here again for sure.

This place is a very good place to make memories with your family the condo could use some upgrades this place is very convenient to the beach and shopping. And there are so few places that you can take your 4 legged family members. And Stephanie has been great this is the 2nd year in a row that we have stayed here and hope to go back next year.

Beach condo good for pets

Had a great vacation! Condo had a great view of the Gulf with easy access to the beach. Condo does not have a traditional balcony. It is a shared porch space at the front door. Carpet in bedrooms needs replacing and there are some other things that need fixing like outdoor fan at front of the condo is rusted and rotting. Condo also only has one small bathroom to share. Condo was good for pets and kids as you don’t have to be as concerned about cleanliness. Overall was okay but price could be lower due to the more rustic state of the condo.

First timer!

As others have stated, unit is in need of various repairs (notably; tiles cracked and patio doors/screens). Closets are full of "stuff". Had a very bad start, as unit looked like it had not been cleaned since last usage. Ownership resolved very well the next day (very good communication with ownership). Stairway from ground level to unit could really use a hosing down. Unit did not have, so we needed to purchase our own paper towels and toilet paper. Loved the location and GS's area. Very nice areas in front of buildings for the pups to relieve themselves. We were there at a slow time as beach (which is very close) was never crowded.
