Our beachfront condominium is the ultimate 3 bedroom unit at the luxurious 5 star Diamond Beach Resort. It is beautifully decorated and arranged to emphasize the incredible Gulf Coast views! The condo sleeps 8 people comfortably and comes with a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and a balcony for relaxing, listening to the waves and taking in the breathtaking scenery!

We loved the view of the beach and the lazy river. It would have been nice if the dining area had 6 chairs instead of 4. The location was great. Near the elevator and the front of the property which made it easy to get to the pool and lazy river. The trash bin was right down the hall which made it convenient.

Great stay!

Check in was a breeze, the condo was excellent, however the dining table only sat 4 persons and we had 6. Even for playing games more chairs would have been helpful.

The condo is beautiful and extremely well appointed. The views from the balcony and even from inside the condo are stunning. Check-in and check-out were very easy and access to the beach makes taking a walk in the sand a snap. Overall, we had an exceptional.stay!

Yearly trip to Galveston

My family comes to Galveston every summer and we have been staying at the Diamond Beach condo whenever possible. This years stay has been great. Our condo was very comfortable and clean. We had seven in our party and had plenty of room. Loved the pools, lazy river and the beach.

Short Family Getaway

Quick family gathering for some swim time and rest with a gorgeous view . Enjoyed the lazy river and all the pools. Brought our stuff down and got a cabana and was there all day. Very well kept facility

Amazing!

We stayed at Vish and Kelly's place for a girl's weekend and loved every minute of it. Eight of us were comfortable there. The condo is beautiful and the property has so much to do. The owners were also very responsive when we needed anything.

As always, the condo was really relaxing. I noticed that overall at Diamond Beach and in the condo that things were cleaner and that there had been attention to details. Your condo is worth the extra cost because it's so spacious and relaxing. Security is really good too!

We had an amazing time everything was exactly how it was posted! My only complaint is the stove was not working I called the number it said to reset the breaker in the bedroom. I never could get it to work but there was a mini grill that I used. Also some of the plugs weren’t working.! Thanks for an amazing vacation

Condo was nice, resort was not what we expected

The condo itself was beautiful and spacious. The resort however was not what we were expecting. When we booked and even in the packet we received giving us our check in information, we were under the impression that there was an indoor and poolside bar for the adults and that there was a slide into the lazy river. None of these things were still in operation. The slide for instance has been out of commission for 3 years, yet is still listed as an amenity.

A mediocre stay with a bad ending

Sadly, this property did not live up to its penthouse standards in size, working amenities, or overall stay. First of all, BE WEARY renting this property. We have rented units at Diamond Beach resort every year for the past 6 years and these property owners blamed us for breaking items within their unit, sent this to a property damage company that charged us hundreds of dollars for these repairs, when they had back to back rentals and had no idea who had actually done the damage and refused to reply back to my message to them on VRBO website, as we inquired about this accusation, clearly stating it was no one in our group that broke these items. When we arrived on site, the maid was still cleaning from the previous guests & when we informed the property owners about several broken items that we noticed upon our arrival (window shades, lamp, etc), they informed us that due to back-to-back stays they couldnt even get into their own property to see or fix these items, clearly indicating that they had no proof or reason to accuse our family of breaking more items. This is SKETCHY! Beyond thse awful accusations they made & not responding to us to discuss, the layout is awful. The sun sets right onto the balcony with extreme heat making it unbearable to go outside & enjoy the outdoor living space. Sweat profusely dripped down if out on the balcony. We missed the pool view that most units had and the shade that offered & they locked all the closets, so no where to hang clothes!

This was our third time to rent this specific condo form Vish, and we plan to do it again. His place has a beautiful view and comfortable beds. It’s always well maintained and stocked with all the essentials. He’s very quick to respond to questions and his check out and check in info is very thorough, yet simple.The condo is perfect for our family of 5 adults and 3 grandkids. The two bunk beds with full size bottom bunks means no one sleeps on the sofa. Diamond beach is a great family place too. The kids and grandkids love the lazy river. The arcade, theater and indoor pool are especially great when it storms all day. We also love that it’s one of the few resorts on the beach, so no walking across the busy seawall. It is a bit of a trek to the beach with supplies, but well worth staying away from the busy seawall traffic with littles.

Beautiful Condo and Spacious!

The condo was well located and private, and quite. We were there Thursday-Sunday and it never got crowded. We had let the host know that the fridge's filter was out so we could not get water and within 15 minutes he called and texted and sent us over a case of water for the inconvenince. Only had 1 issue with a TV but that was it. Very responsive great stay! Highly reccomend.

Loud construction

I love Diamond Beach condos, but right now there is very loud construction that starts at 7:00am right next to the condo. It is just starting so may take a while to finish. I feel this should have been communicated before our stay.

Absolutely perfect!

Four Adults & 3 Grandkids

Diamond Beach property is very nice - lazy river, hot tub, and pools are wonderful. Lots of other amenities available -- we stayed in the water, not other indoor amenities. The unit was nicely appointed and balcony was comfortable with nice furniture (nice AM breeze & shaded). Our party of seven did not have enough chairs for normal sitting at the dining table (only 4 chairs & 3 stools). The master shower was unbelievable!!!
