A great place to stay

Lovely apartment, clean and with everythibg needed. Carlos and his wife were great hosts and very quick to respond. Vila do Conde is a good place to stay, beautiful beaches, all shops etc and easy to get to from airport and for day trips into Porto. I would really recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy Portugal.

Loved the location! Although about 30-45 min outside of Porto. 1 hour by train.

Owner is friendly and responded quickly. The apartment is located in Vila de Conde, walking distance to the waterfront and lovely town. We parked the car on the street as the garage has a high cement lip on one end and it was an impossible angle to park it. Just about ruined the underside of our rental. We kept windows open to allow a breeze to flow through as the unit smelled damp. There was also a problem with ants. Kitchen counters and doors felt greasy. Owner did mention he was having difficulty finding decent cleaners. Beds were clean and comfortable. Loved the back patio area, perfect for late night conversations of our adventures during the day. Our overall stay was good.

"Situated in the old hist...

"Situated in the old historical part of town,within walking distance of metro,beach,restaurants,shops etc.This suprisingly peaceful apartment was superbly fitted and possesses a sunny and spacious decking area to the rear.Vila do Conde itself is a very appealing town with quayside and good beaches along which there are many cafes and restaurants.We intend returning and we thank the Moreira family who were very accomodating."

"A casa estava em óptimas condições, limpa e organizada. Tinha tudo o que necessitamos para a nossa estadia. Sempre que solicitavamos os proprietários para nos informar de algo estavam sempre disponíveis. Voltamos a repetir a estadia no fim do ano e estava tudo em ordem como sempre. Sem dúvida uma casa de férias onde voltaremos a ficar e passo a recomendar."

"manque de proprete (placards cuisine et salle de bain très sales ainsi que WC), par rapport au descriptif reçu, il manquait un grille-pain, un fer à repasser, machine à café inutilisable et sans notice explicative, pas assez de couverts, pas de wiffi-internet comme indiqué. Le propriétaire faisait des travaux dans la location au dessous : bruits tous les matins dès 9h"

"É um facto que o andar inferior da habitação estava em obras, mas obedeciam ao horário de trabalho e respeitavam, uma vez que começavam apenas a fazer barulho após as 9h. Contudo, estas obras estão finalizadas e não incomodam mais ninguém. A casa encontrava-se limpa e não há motivos para dizer que estava suja. Por parte dos inquilinos só tive uma chamada de atenção para a falta do ferro de engomar, que desconhecia, e mais tarde vim a descobrir que teria sido roubado. Repuz o ferro de engomar logo no dia seguinte. Não me foi dado a entender que desejavam o grelhador nem a internet que estavam armazenados no andar inferior. Tentamos sempre ter um diálogo muito adequado com os senhores que sempre se mostraram muito educados e agradados. Ainda para mais a casa tem imensos talheres e pratos de comida, está optimamente equipada."

"Die Ferienwohnung liegt direkt in der historischen Altstadt. In der Nähe ist alles, was man braucht wie Restaurants, Läden zum Einkaufen etc. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und regelt alles sehr schnell und flexibel. Die Wohnung ist komplett neu renoviert worden. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet."

"Gostamos imenso da vila do conde e sobre tudo desta casa onde encontramos sosego calma e paz.Casa que tem tudo que for preciso.nao falta nada.bem situada a 5 minutos da praia(maravilhosa praia)pertinha de tudo..cafes,pasteleirias,restaurantes,supermercados..tudo.a propriataria é uma senhora muito agradavel e desponivel.sempre pronta a ajudar em qualquer coisa que for preciso.aconcelho esta casa a todos.tem tudo para fazer excelente estadia.voltarei de certeza.muito conforto tanto nas camas como no sofa na cozinha, quartos de banho.tudo bom."
