Beautiful

This is a lovely little property in beautiful surroundings with everything you need. The views over the vineyards are stunning and there is plenty to visit and see in the area. Jean-Pierre was very helpful supplying a map and marking the best places to see, all within easy distances. Is your looking for peace and tranquillity this is definitely a good place to stay.

J’ai enfin trouvĂ© le temps mais surtout la façon de donner son avis sur mes vacances passĂ©s dans cette location. Tout d'abord l’emplacement est calme, trĂšs calme, c’est ce que nous cherchions. Mais la voiture est indispensable pour visiter la rĂ©gion ou faire ses courses. A deux pas de l’autoroute l’accĂšs aux visites s’en est trouvĂ© facilitĂ©. La maison et conforme aux photos de l’annonce, trĂšs propre et suffisamment spacieuse pour quatre personnes. Maintenant parlons du propriĂ©taire
 Comment vous dire ? c’est un personnage, authentique, serviable quelque peu bavard mais tellement gentil. Tout cela sans ĂȘtre envahissant on ne s’apercevait mĂȘme pas quand il venait pour s’occuper de la piscine. (Personnellement je le remercie de m’avoir fait vivre pour quelques heures un peu de son activitĂ© le raisin. MĂȘme si cela m’a coutĂ© quelques rĂ©veils matinaux) Merci Ă  lui pour son accueil, ses conseils en matiĂšre de lieux Ă  voir et de restaurant mais surtout pour sa gentillesse et son bon vin.

Ideales Haus fĂŒr 2 Personen mit schönem Pool

Positiv: Dieses Haus liegt abseits in einem kleinen Ort + man hat eine schöne Aussicht von der Terrasse, ist gut aufgeteilt und wir fanden es zu Zweit wunderbar vom Platz (jeder ein SZ/Bad).Man findet immer ein sonniges PlĂ€tzchen.Das GrundstĂŒck ist fast nicht einsehbar,so dass man auch mal "leicht bekleidet" in der Sonne liegen oder im angenehm auf 26°C geheizten Pool schwimmen kann. Große Lavendel- +RosmarinbĂŒschen und Oleander. Von vorderer Terrasse toller Blick in Tal mit Weinbergen. KĂŒchenzeile mit super Gasofen( und -herd) lĂ€dt zum Kochen ein.Der Grill ist super, wir haben jeden Abend gegrillt. WLAN sehr gut und es gibt deutsches Fernsehen.Gute Wsachmaschine,großer KĂŒhlschrank m. Gefrierfach, Wasserdruck super. Pro Zimmer ein 2m-Einbauschrank,in BĂ€dern genug Ablage,begehbarer Dusche.30 min bis Les Halles, 45 min. Port Leucate zum Austern schlĂŒrfen. Lagrasse und Fontefroide sind nicht weit. Vermieter Jean-Pierre nett, es gibt 1 Flasche Wein vom Weingut zur BegrĂŒĂŸung + Tipps Negativ und daher nur 3 Sterne: nach Burnout und dem BedĂŒrfnis nach absoluter Ruhe, haben wir uns fĂŒr dieses Haus "am Ende der Welt" entschieden + die Vermieterin hat uns noch wenige Tage vor Anreise bestĂ€tigt, dass es sehr, sehr ruhig ist und auch keine Kinder im Nachbarhaus in Urlaub sind. Es ist nicht ruhig! An der Zufahrt zum Haus steht der WasserbehĂ€lter der Gemeinde, da fĂŒllen sich die Bauern auch mal gerne schon um 3 Uhr morgens die Tanks voll, daneben die Tonnen fĂŒr Glas und PlastikmĂŒll. Die französischen Weinbauern sind sehr fleißig ;-) es verging kein Tag, dass nicht Steine aus dem Acker gepflĂŒgt, Wasser oder anderes gespritzt wurde, gerne auch beginnend vor 6 Uhr und ĂŒber mehrere Stunden. Das Haus liegt oberhalb Zufaht zum Ort + an der Route20= Rundfahrtroute durch die CorbiĂšres, wird gerne von Bikern+Autos genutzt. Mehrere Hunde die gerne und oft, auch nachts, klĂ€ffen. Hinter dem Pool rechts vom Haus aus gesehen ist ein weiteres Haus, man sieht nichts aber man hört alles. Wir hatten erst drei Franzosen, die gerne Party machten und dann drei EnglĂ€nder mit 1 Kind. "Judy" war sehr aktiv bis spĂ€t abends ;.) Kurz gesagt, am A... (k. BĂ€cker z.B) der Welt aber mittendrin. Wie Zuhause mit "unserem Metzger".Nicht super sauber, wie geschrieben,aber ok. Sehr! schlechte Betten, bin nach 3 Tagen jeden Nacht aufs Sofa. Keine Deckenbeleuchtung in SZn. Wir kommen leider nicht mehr. FĂŒr Leute, die der Krach nicht stört (vielleicht ist das auch Saison-abhĂ€ngig), aber ein schönes Haus !

The beautiful village of Coustouge

We had the utmost pleasure and privilege to spend five wonderful weeks at this lovely villa in the quintessential French village of Coustouge in the Corbieres. Many thanks to our hosts John Pierre and Nathalie for being so helpful and kind and for making our visit such a memorable experience. The private heated pool and patio provided a wonderful area to sit out and enjoy the surrounding countryside which was awash with vineyards in various stages of growth - amazing! The Corbieres is an area with many ancient Chateas and Abbayes and villages dating back to medieval times. The French people living there were very friendly and extremely helpful. We have limited French, but everyone went out of their way to assist us, even though most had limited English. We hope to return again one day and do not hesitate to recommend.

das Haus ist exact so wie beschrieben. Hervorzuheben ist allerdings die Ordnung und Sauberkeit, und dass alles auf Anhieb ohne großes Pobieren und Suchen funktioniert hat. Man ist, trotz direkter Nachbarn, keinesfalls in seiner IntimspĂ€hre beeintrĂ€chtigt. Der Pool hatte ca.26°. Die Umgebung lĂ€d zum Wandern ein - ein unermesslicher Reichtum an Blumen und Pflanzen, wie man es in Deutschland kaum noch vorfindet, erwartet einen. Der Vermieter ist , wenn gebraucht, gleich zur Stelle und hilfsbereit. Negativ ist leider die etwas abgelegene Lage des Ortes, zur nĂ€chsten BĂ€ckerei/ Kneipe ca. 10 km. W.Schmitt

Gite parfaitement situĂ© pour rayonner dans toute la region. De plus les conseils du proprietaire sur les visites, ballades ou restau nous ont bien servis et nous en avons Ă©tĂ© ravis! Barbecue et Piscine chauffĂ©e, TrĂšs apprĂ©ciable a cette pĂ©riode de l'annĂ©e! Les petits bemols : - nous avons eu un peu froid dans le gĂźte (heureusement que les chambres Ă©taient chauffĂ©es) - cĂŽtĂ© enfants : le "bac Ă  sable " mĂ©riterait un petit rafraĂźchissement et un tabouret serait bien plus pratique que les fauteuils en tissu pour les brossages de dents et la 10aine de lavage de mains dans la journĂ©e! 😊
