Perfect for large family

We were a group of 12 of extended family, adults, teens, and young kids. This was the perfect spot for us to have as our home during our vacation. Simply perfect setting, gorgeous grounds, fantastic house and hosts! We loved it!

Family get together.

The house and surrounding area were perfect for our family! We loved the yard, swimming pool, the large outdoor gathering space for eating and the big kitchen for cooking together! Lots of opportunities to explore and hike along the coastline added to our stay! Great spot!

Wonderful property in a beautiful setting close to the town and sea

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. We available of Fatima's cooking on 3 evenings which was wonderfully and really added to the overall experience of out stay. The communication with Margarida and Joao was excellent. They were both great Hosts.

We spent a wonderful time on this marvelous house near by the sea and all accommodations.

This big house is really welcoming, the yard is huge and well maintained and the view on a canopy is incredible. We had a lot of fun with our families and friends enjoying cultural visits, surfing, walking, good wine and good food. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend this place house.

Great week in a great house

Great house, terrific garden, lots of sport activities, nice pool, clean rooms, plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed every day. Also very nice hirer family who has been very helpful. Close small and large beaches. Nice Climate (cooler than Lisbon) but expect some fog from time to time. Overall really fantastic!

Very nice villa with a big pool and an outstanding park

We really enjoyed our holidays. The villa was the perfect accomodation for three families (6 children and 6 adults). Large space, several bedrooms and bathrooms, a large kitchen with all necessary equipment and a terrace with shutter (when evenings are a little bit colder). Highlights were the large and clean pool and the outstanding park, which offers enough space to play football, volleyball... The owners answered every question before the holiday within short time were very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. Many thanks Margarida and Joao!

Beautiful property, lovely experience

The property was all it was portrayed as and more. From the lovely grounds, to the spacious accommodations, to the beautiful pool and activities. Joao was wonderfully helpful and attentive when it came to sights to see, places to eat and little things that cropped up like finding the light switches. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Sehr schöne Villa in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb von Azenhas do Mar und bietet sehr viel Ruhe zum Entspannen. Der Ortskern mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einem kleinen Strand ist in ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Die große Villa hat ausreichend große Zimmer, die sehr schön eingerichtet sind. Der Garten ist riesig und bietet genug Platz für Ballsportarten, Frisbee und Federball. Der Pool war in einem tadellosen Zustand und wurde auch während wir dort waren gereinigt. Der Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns stets bei Fragen weitergeholfen und Probleme sofort gelöst. Danke für deine Gastfreudschaft lieber João!

Séjour de rêve

Nous avons loué cette villa pour 14 personnes et nous n'avons vraiment pas été déçus ! Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil du propriétaire qui s'est montré disponible à chaque fois que nous en avons eu besoin. Concernant la maison, elle possède bien tout ce qui est décrit dans l'annonce : une grande piscine, des chambres très agréables (notamment le petit chalet à l'extérieur !), la wifi, des jeux (table de ping-pong avec raquettes et balles fournies, ballon...), une très grande cuisine équipée, un parc très bien entretenu (la piscine est nettoyée régulièrement par un agent d'entretien), les serviettes de toilette sont également fournies pour toutes les chambres. Bref, une excellente adresse pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille même si la maison est un peu éloignée du centre de Colares... Il y a cependant des bus à 10 minutes à pied qui desservent les alentours et le propriétaire nous a présenté un chauffeur (qui est d'ailleurs venu nous chercher à l'aéroport suite à un problème de transfert !) très sympathique, qui nous a pris en charge à notre demande pour les visites de Sintra et de Lisbonne à un prix très intéressant pour 14 personnes... Si nous devions retourner un jour à Sintra, nous relouerions cette villa sans hésiter !

Droomhuis op 30 km. van Lissabon

Met 14 vrouwen brachten wij een week in mei 2011 door in deze vakantiewoning. Het was een paradijs (hadden heel goed weer!) Groot huis met heel veel ruimte, uitgebreide voorzieningen in de keuken, ruim servies. Handdoeken 3 pp en een wasmachine om schone handdoeken te hebben. Binnen heel comfortabel, genoeg ruimte om met z'n allen te eten, ook op buitenterras. Men kan zoveel lawaai maken als met wil (we hebben's avonds met z'n allen kunnen zingen, de huiseigenaar met zijn gezin hebben er van genoten). Slaapkamers ruim en comfortabel. Alles schoon en met warmte ingericht. Van af die plek is er veel te bezichtigen (met auto) en Lissabon, Cascais, Sintra goed te doen. Heerlijke restaurants (op aanraden van de eigenaar) in de omgeving. De enorme tuin (park) met zwembad heef ons het gevoel gegeven in een paradijs te zijn beland. 's Avonds verlicht als een sprookje. Kortom, een aanrader voor grote families en groepen.
