LARGE 3BD/2BA condo, close to restaurants and 10 min from WP Ski Resort
About Kim Caschette
We lived in Denver until Aug. 2015 and since have moved to Seattle. We have two school age boys who enjoy the mountains and outdoor activities so this condo was the perfect choice.. Since we don't get to visit as often as we did when we lived in Denver, we wanted to share our little retreat with others. We also love traveling with our dog and therefore, have opened our condo up to other pet owners.
Kim Caschette purchased this Condo in 2014
Why Kim Caschette chose Winter Park
We decided to purchase in Winter Park because we found the town to be so quaint. Another important factor was Winter Park is only a short 1 1/2 drive from Denver and Denver International Airport. We find the traffic is far easier to navigate during peak season. Once we decided on Winter Park, we looked at several different properties and found Hi Country Haus checked off several of our 'boxes'. In the Summer, our boys can drop their fishing poles in the Fraser River right across from our condo, hit the bike path or use the club house which keeps them entertained. We enjoy Rocky Mountain Natl. Park and the 3 nearby lakes. .Also, the new club house was another big reason we decided to purchase this property.
What makes this Condo unique
Our condo is on the top floor and is a corner unit. This makes it extremely quiet and with the skylight, the condo always feels bright. We have a private deck that overlooks the woods where wildlife is often spotted and you can enjoy a glass of wine in the summer time. The 3 bedrooms have enough beds to sleep 10 without someone having to sleep on a pull out couch in the living room. We are right next to the club house which provides a workout room and pool/hot tub for our guests to enjoy.

Perfect for what we needed
The property was just what we needed. We slept 6 adults comfortably. The kitchen had all the necessities so we could cook most of our meals. The pool and hot tubs were amazing.
The rental process was very easy
The communication with the owners while booking was great. Instructions for locating the condo and check-in were easy. We got there hours later than originally planned due to delayed flights, and we didn't have any issues finding it in the dark. The location is also wonderful and central for trails as well as restaurants and shops in Winter Park. Very clean and inviting. It was perfect for a weekend getaway for our family!
A Good Fit
The condo was a great fit for our needs, and we appreciated having easy and immediate communication with Kim. Maintenance answered our calls and questions immediately - which brings lots of peace when traveling to unfamiliar accommodations. We also appreciated the extra towels, bath and cleaning supplies, etc. - this made for easy clean-up and eliminated a lot of trips to the store for all the little things that tend to be needed when staying in a condo. Winter Park is a great location - near lots of things to see and do!
Great place to stay!
The condo was clean and well stocked. It was close to everything.
Winter Park Condo
This condo was perfect for our group. We came for a wedding at the top of the mountain the location was perfect. The condo was clean and we found it to be just as advertised. Size of the condo was a little more than we needed so we had extra beds but that is due to a cancellation by members of my party.
Glad you enjoyed your stay. The Condo is larger than some other 3 bedrooms and we like that roomy feel when staying with a larger group. We also made sure we could seat 10 at the dining areas.
We hope you will consider us again next time you come to WP.
We had a wonderful experience. The condo had an open-concept layout which we enjoyed. It also had plenty of room for our big family without feeling cramped. We especially loved the big dining room table.
