Centuries-old stone house with courtyard, peaceful location surrounded by nature – between forest, river and fields. Charm, authenticity, space.
Ideal for relaxing with family far from the stress of the city.

Ground floor: large, modern and fully equipped kitchen; large living room with fireplace, soapstone wood stove; small living room with an (old) piano; large bedroom with 1 large bed (2 mattresses); bathroom with shower; separated WC. (Each room has window-s and direct access to the courtyard.)

Floor: large bedroom with 1 large bed (2 mattresses), window to the courtyard.

Extension 1 - accessible by stairs from the courtyard: large living room; small bedroom with 1 single bed; mezzanine with 2 single beds; kitchenette; bathroom with shower; separated WC.

Walks in the woods and forest, along the fields, swimming in the Cèze.

Classified among “The Most Beautiful Villages of France”®, La Roque-Sur-Cèze is a charming village built on a rocky peak, 5 min. by car or 30 min. on foot.

Below the village, the Sautadet waterfalls impress with their tumultuous waters; downstream, a small stone beach suitable for bathing.

Nearby, the picturesque villages of Goudargues (with its bucolic canal and market), Montclus (with its Mons Serratus abbey and an imposing castle) and Cornillon (with its typical Provencal architecture) await you. It's lovely to stroll through their medieval alleys and discover local products.

Other sites of interest in the region include the Grotte de la Salamandre, the Aven d'Orgnac and the Chartreuse de Valbonne, amongst others.

The Cèze valley is a little corner of paradise for those who love nature vacation. Swimming in the Cèze, canoeing/kayaking or horseback riding, hiking or cycling, exploring the Saint-Michelet interpretive trail... And the beautiful town of Uzès is not far away!

Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub mit 5 Personen (3 Generationen) in dem Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr charmant und idyllisch und die Räume bieten reichlich Platz für alle Bedürfnisse. Die Kinder können Toben und Spielen ohne Nachbarn zu stören, da das Grundstück so groß ist.Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bereits im Vorfeld waren die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht und haben stets schnell und freundlich geantwortet. Der Kontakt war sehr persönlich. Gerne wieder!

Sehr schöner, entschleunigender Urlaub in toller, einsamer Lage

Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war einwandfrei. Die Anreise zum Haus war etwas abenteuerlich, aber auch mit einem Bulli machbar. Baden in der Ceze war möglich und der Innenhof ein echter Traum. Die Matratzen könnten ein Upgrade vertragen, aber sonst war alles bestens.

Entspannte Tage

Wir hatten in diesem wunderbaren Haus 10 entschleunigte und sehr erholsameTage. Anfahrt und Ort der Schlüsselübergabe wurden im Vorfeld detailiert beschrieben. Von La Roque sur Ceze sind es noch ca. 2km über teils etwas abenteuerliche aber durchgehend mit normalem Pkw befahrbare Wege. Das Haus selbst ist L-förmig und teilweise 2-stöckig gebaut. Es bildet mit Mauer und Nebengebäude einen geschlossenen Innenhof, wobei auch vom großen Außengelände keine Nachbarn zu sehen oder zu hören waren. Der älteste Teil des Hauses sei 500 Jahre alt, entsprechend gibt es teilweise sehr dicke Mauern - vor allem Wohnzimmer und Küche blieben dadurch auch bei den hohen Außentemperaturen kühl. Alle Räume (außer Bad und WC) im Erdgeschoss sind untereinander verbunden und auch jeweils vom Innenhof begehbar. Die Küche ist mit einem großen urigen Esstisch ausgestattet und enthält alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Von den 7 Betten haben wir nur 3 benötigt, in denen wir sehr gut geschlafen haben. Es gibt im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer eine kleine Anlage, auf der man via Bluetooth auch eigene Quellen anschließen kann. Fernseher und WLAN gibt es nicht, haben wir aber auch nicht vermisst. Die meiste Zeit vor Ort haben wir im Innenhof oder unter den großen Bäumen vor dem Haus verbracht. Eine schöne Badestelle am Fluß ist ca. 800m Fußweg entfernt. Nur der Weg zum morgendlichen Baguette war uns zu weit - eingekauft haben wir immer auf den Tagestouren. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Séjour en pleine garrigue, baignade à 15 mn à pied dans la Cèze , entourée d’une verdure magnifique. Maison accueillante .Bien sûr , il faut être organisé: courses à Goudargues avec un marché provençal et un coin de producteurs locaux ( les fromages de chèvre: top !) Bien sûr en pleine canicule , on a fermé les volets dans la journée .. Concert lyrique sublime à Cornillon . On en est revenu avec des rêves plein la tête .

Traumhaft charaktervoller Hof in der Natur

In absoluter Alleinlage Ist der Hof genau das Richtige für Naturfreunde und Liebhaber der ursprünglichen Baukultur in der Provence. Wir haben den Charme sehr genossen und uns rundum entspannt und wohlgefühlt. Es ist viel Platz für die ganze Familie, gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Betten sind groß und bequem. Es fehlte uns an nichts und war der richtige Ort für einen wundervollen Urlaub.

Zauberhaft gelegenes, rustikales Haus inmitten der Natur

Wer in Südfrankreich einen authentischen, abgelegenen Ort sucht, von dem dennoch alles im Nu erreichbar ist, ist mit diesem zauberhaften Haus bestens beraten. Die gut ausgestattete Küche und der zauberhafte Innenhof haben es uns angetan. Das Haus ist in L-Form. Neben zwei hübschen Schlafzimmern (eines davon ist über eine sehr steile Holzleiter erreichbar - wird in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt!)) in dem einen Trakt gibt es im anderen Trakt (über Außerntreppe) ein Enzelbett und in der offenen Mansarde noch 2 Einzelbetten. Dort konnte man bei den Temperaturen nicht schlafen, deshalb haben 2 Personen im großzügigen Wonhzimmer geschlafen. Dass man die Schlafplätze alle direkt vom Innenhof aus erreichen kann, ohne die Miturlauber zu stören, war sehr praktisch. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Séjour reposant et dépaysant. Maison agréable et bien équipée, bien située, tout près du cours d'eau et pas loin des jolis sites de la région (Cascades, villages, balades...).
