Séjour parfait !!!

Je ne peux que confirmer les commentaires précédents, l'appartement est très bien agencé, propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. A la fois à l'écart mais proche de tout, l'emplacement est top. Jean-Franck et Marie-Paule sont très accueillants et chaleureux, on se sent très bien chez eux. La piscine qui est réservée aux locataires pendant le séjour est plus que parfaite !!! J'ai adoré la terrasse, j'ai passé de longues minutes à contempler cette vue magnifique. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés, c'est un lieu dépaysant, de déconnection. J'arrête là sinon il y aura trop de demandes !!! Nos prochaines vacances dans la région se feront au même endroit c'est sûr. Les Bretons Audrey, Erwan, Chloé et Nolan

Le Paradis

Nous avons passé un super été, et le logement y est pour beaucoup, n'hesitez pas, foncez! La vue est superbe, l'espace piscine aussi fidele que sur les photos. Propriétaires discrets pendant notre séjour et sachant se rendre disponible en cas d'interrogation. Bonne fin d'été à vous.

Super sejour!

Bel appartement de caractere qui correspond parfaitement à la description sur le site. Situation calme, mais les commerces de Frontignan sont facile d’acces en voiture. Très propre et bien équipé. Super piscine. Vue magnifique sur la côte méditerranéenne. Accueil très chaleureux par Jean Frank et Marie Paule. Fortement recommandé!

Des vacances idéales en famille

Avec deux enfants, et une envie de repos et de tranquillité, nous avons passé des vacances idéales. Nous avons largement profité de la grande piscine; l'environnement est magnifique (vue sur Frontignan Plage et la Mer d'un côté ; vue sur le Pioch Michel de l'autre). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par des propriétaires très sympathiques, et tout aussi efficaces que discrets. Ne pas hésiter !

Superbe, comme d' habitude

After a breef sabatical last year, this summer was our third visit to the little paradise above Frontignan. All the good things were still there and more. The owners had installed a new wireless router in the appartment meaning that Wifi was flawless, streaming videos was a much apprieciated feauture for our teanaged daughter ;)

Séjour super!

Séjour super à Frontignan, dans un environnement très calme, "Le Pioch Michel". Accueil magnifique! Nous nous sentions directement à l'aise entouré par Vulcan, Vladi et Chacha, des animaux très adorables. Le gîte était très confortable et spacieux. Bien équipé, wifi, etc. Piscine de luxe et PRIVEE! Vacances formidables en famille

Environnement de toute beauté et logement soigné avec le plaisir d'une piscine magnifique (grande et profonde donc sans doute plus appropriée pour des enfants sachant nager malgré le système d'alarme). Accueil des propriétaires très chaleureux (ainsi que du chat et des 2 chiens) . Super ballade en bateau pour découvrir la région. Nous reviendrons dès que possible. Vivement les prochaines vacances !

parfait!!!

un veritable petit paradis!!! Suberbe appartement, tres confortable, propre et full equipé, appartement dans un cadre idylique!!! Les proprietaires sont charmants et les enfants continuent de parler des animaux et de Marie Paule qui est adorable. Vraiment une adresse à recommander!!!

A 2nd review by the same ...

A 2nd review by the same person. Is there something more to add to my first? Well yes. What's better than a peanutbutter sandwich? 2 peanut butter sandwiches ;) This year we went back and stayed not 1 but 2 weeks which gave us more time to visit some of the many lovely sites that the Languedoc Rousillion has to offer. The Dali museum in Figueras/Spain, Les Gorges du Tarn, La Camargue and even Marseille, they're all possible day trips. In the summer season these sites can be very hot and busy, returning to the peace and quiet of the "little paradise" after a long and hot day really felt like coming ":home". p.s. this time...home with internet ;)

"Tucked away in the hills...

"Tucked away in the hills above Frontignan, overlooking the mediterranean sea, "Le Pioch Michel" had always been referred to by visiting friends and family as "a small paradise". This year for the first time in 3 decades, the owners opened the gates of their estate, inviting guests, outside of their inner circle, to stay in their summer apartment. We were one of the first of those guests to experience the pleasures that a stay at "Le Pioch Michel" has to offer, and what a pleasure it was. Early morning dives in the private swimming pool, breakfast on the garden patio, lazy afternoons backing in the sun next to the pool, or reading a book under the shade of the lovely pines. Simultaneously enjoying a game of "petanque" and the spectacular panoramic view of the mediterranean countryside. Long late evening diners, prepared on the poolside barbecue while nipping a glass of local wine. Such were the delights of the estate that during our week short stay, we hardly left the place to go to the sandy beaches we had come all the way south for in the first place ;) But when we did venture outside, there were always some handy tips on interesting places from the owners. Frontignan has a typical southern France town centre with a market twice a week. The area has those long sandy beaches at but a 5 min drive, Séte with all its canals 15 min, and Montpellier is a must do just 30 min away. Park your car at one of the P&R sites for 4€ incl. 4 tram tickets, there is no better way to enjoy this wonderful city. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon boat trip that mr. Nougier offers. During the long trip we sailed along the Etangs, the canals off Séte and visited the oyster farms. As a native and proud "Sétois" he was the perfect guide showing us all the "secret places" only known to those who'' live in the area all their live. As I''m sitting here back in Holland writing this review, I''m wondering if there was anything "not positive" to write about our stay at "Le Pioch Michel"….. …..and the answer is…no. Maybe just a few notes. Although just a few kilometers out of town, you are in the "campagne" with all off its wildlife, including those swarming around your ears (wasp''s and mosquito''s). And being out in the countryside also means that internet providers don''t always provide (a new provider will hopefully have changed that by now), you do need a car to get around, and you have a couple of big dogs to guard your property. Upon arrival Mr Nougier told us that should we be "not at ease" with dogs, he would keep them locked up during our stay. Truth is that at first glance Vulcan and Vladi are both impressive or intimidating (depending on your ease with dogs) but turned out to be two of the most gentile and well trained examples of Berger de Bosse. Not only did their presence add to the fun of our stay, but they gave us a safe feeling whenever we ventured out on a trip while leaving our belongings in the house. Actually…that was the only "downside" of our stay…..having to leave what truly has been a week in a "small paradise"
