Cottage, B&B, Groups accommodation, in the countyside

Lovely place to be in this restored farm place where the cows where living in the old days. It looks now as a very pretty and warm place to live to enjoy with family or friends with a lot of place inside and outside to enjoy together. The old typicall farm from 1857, is standfing in an old village with many farms like this one. The most people are still farmers , so you see outside still a lot of cows and sheeps, and tulips and vegetables growing everywhere. So it's just nice to have a walk in the surrounding, or to bike aroun. Also from this place to can catch the train to go straight to Amsterdam. But also with car you can rich famous harbours as Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik, or the nice museums town of Alkmaar with her Cheese market. Believe me, you won't be bored. Enough to see and to do. Also you have a golf with 19swholes on 1 km faraway... We drive in 10 minutes to the Ijsselmeer, a closed sea or 40 minutes to the Nord sea ..You have the choice. Everywhere is water.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt mit unserer Großfamilie. Es gibt einen großen Aufenthaltsraum und jedes der Zimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, aber mit Auto ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung und nach Amsterdam. Die Gastgeberin war bei Problemen sehr schnell erreichbar und konnte helfen.Gestört hat uns nur das Fehlen von Mückengittern an den Fenstern.

Unterkunft für einen JGA

Wir haben die Unterkunft für einen JGA mit 12 Personen gebucht. An sich war alles in Ordnung. Man sollte im Hinterkopf haben, dass man spüllappen, Geschirrtücher, spülmaschinentabs etc. dabei haben sollte. Das habe ich im Chat mit Christine zum Glück herausgefunden. Christine schreibt meist auf französisch, was mit Google Übersetzer aber kein Problem ist. Antworten versteht sie auch auf Deutsch. Vor Ort haben wir auch Deutsch miteinander gesprochen.Das Haus war sauber und größer als erwartet. Parken konnten wir mit einigen Autos direkt am Eingang des Hauses. Auch die Badezimmer waren sauber. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. :)

Weekendje weg met vrienden

Je kon goed aan tafel zitten met de hele groep zowel binnen als buiten. Er was meer dan genoeg serviesgoed en veel te veel pannen. Het plaatje doet vermoeden dat je in een stolpboerderij zit, maar je zit erachter. Wel sfeervol.

Beste Netta, Vroeger had ik voor presentatiefoto, de pui van de voormalige koeienstal waar jullie naar binnen komen maar voor andere gast was het niet representatief genoeg van de locatie waar jullie komen logeren. En waarom de koeienstal en niet de stolp zelf? Omdat de stolp is op het Noorden gesitueerd en je hebt de trein die langs rijdt wat minder rustgevend voor de gasten is. Het is een keuze maar nooit zo reël als in het echt kunnen meemaken. Heerlijk gezegd denk ik dat achter de boerderij met eindeloze uitzit op de polder, een heel fijne plek is. Heel erg bedankt voor uw komst en vertrouw Netta. Veel succes verder met alles. Groetjes. Christine.

Einfach perfekt, besser geht nicht

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 12 Personen. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für eine größere Gruppe geeignet. Von Privatsphäre bis zusammen kochen, essen, genießen war alles uneingeschränkt möglich. Eine hervorragende Ausstattung, hier fehlt es an nichts. Christine ist eine hervorragende, freundliche Gastgeberin bei der man sich schnell wie zuhause fühlt. Wir alle haben die Unterkunft und Annehmlichkeiten sehr genossen. Sehr empfehlenswert und gerne wieder.

Super Kurztrip

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 12 Personen vor Ort Super nette und kommunikative Vermieterin . Ruhige Lage , bzw man stört nicht unbedingt die Nachbarn auch wenn man sich länger auf der großen Terrasse aufhält. Immer wieder gerne , alle Jungs hatten viel viel Spaß.

Kurzurlaub mit Family

Mit mehr als 10 Personen plus 3 Hunden etwas zu finden ist nicht einfach. War aber hier gar kein Problem. Jedes Zimmer mit eigenem Bad und großer Wohn-Essbereich ist schon super. Die Gegend wirklich schön und das Meer „um die Ecke“. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Top weekend

Ik heb met mijn vriendinnen een lang weekend doorgebracht in het landhuis van Christine, gelegen in een prachtige omgeving in Westwoud. Vanaf het allereerste begin verliep de communicatie vlekkeloos en de accommodatie bood alles wat we nodig hadden. We hebben echt genoten van ons weekend. Schönes uriges umgebautes Bauerhaus in ländlicher Umgebung mit gemütlichen Zimmern. Küche und Wohnzimmer mit allem was man braucht. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die sehr gut deutsch und englisch spricht. Danke für ein sehr schönes Wochenende!

Familientreffen mit Geburtstagsfeier

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit viel Platz im Wohn-Esszimmer und auf der großen Terrasse. Die offene Küche ist üppig ausgestattet mit Geschirr für viele Leute. Jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad, meistens mit zusätzlicher Schlafcouch für Kinder. Hoorn, Medemblik und Enkhiuzen sind mit dem Fahrrad in 30 - 40 Minuten erreichbar. Leihfahrräder werden auf Wunsch angeliefert. Dass Bettwäsche und Handtücher pro Person fast 20€ extra kosten, macht bei 9 Personen einen stolzen Preis. Ansonsten ist Christine ganz reizend und hilfsbereit.

"La Normande" est idéalement située pour permettre la découverte de cette superbe région. C'est un gîte très agréable, et l'accueil est des plus chaleureux. Nous sommes revenus enchantés de notre séjour et nous espérons bien y retourner.

très agréable séjour

Lieu très bien situé, permettant à moins d'une heure de voiture de voir les jardins de keukenhof, Amsterdam (en stationnant au parking P+R de Bos en lommer), Edam, Volendam, Hoorn, le marché aux fromages d'alkmaar la grande digue... Le gîte est très spacieux (nous étions 2 familles de 5 personnes) mais sa disposition permet également de recevoir des couples en bed and breakfast grâce aux 4 grandes chambres et à sa salle à manger indépendante. Cette maison de style Hollandais est également lumineuse, propre et reposante. L'accueil de Christine et de Florian est très chaleureux. Je conseille ce gîte aux français car le fait que Christine soit Normande d'origine et installée depuis 25 ans en Hollande permet de comprendre beaucoup de choses sur la culture et la vie Hollandaise. Le plus pour les enfants étant le trampoline. J'espère que ces informations vous auront aidé dans votre choix. Famille Bougeot de la Sarthe

L'hiver s'est installé à Westwoud. Le 5 décembre, nous allons fêter la Saint-Nicolas avec tous les enfants du quartier. Alors La bonne humeur est toujours au rendez-vous.
