Enjoy a memorable holiday in a large villa in the village of Saint Saturnin les Apt, in the heart of Provence and the Luberon valley.
From the large terrace you can enjoy the view across the valley and the surrounding mountains (Luberon and Monts de Vaucluse) and make the most of it: rest, have a drink of pastis or rosé wine or enjoy a peaceful meal. Breakfasts on the terrace are memorable. There is a barbecue grill for you to enjoy great meals with great views!
The villa offers 3 large bedrooms, each one with a double bed (one if them has a king size bed)
The swimming pool offers superb views and is available from june to october. You can wander around the garden and the olive grove.
The villlage of Saint Saturnin les Apt is only a few steps away (walking distance) where you find one of the best boulangeries in the region, a butcher, a newsagent and a small supermarket. There are also a few restaurants and cafés. On Tuesdays there is an outdoor market.
The location of the house will allow you to easily access the region's rich cultural, sports and leisure attractions and activites:
- cultural festivals (Avignon, Aix en Provence...),
- visit of some of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in France (Gordes, Roussillon, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Ansouis, Lourmarin, Sault....),

Wunderbarer Rückzugsort mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Haus ist perfekt gelegen. Man kann in wenigen Gehminuten den schönen Ortskern erreichen, auch der Spielplatz und das Freibad sind ums Eck. Das Anwesen ist bezaubernd und bietet viel Platz zum Verweilen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Hügellandschaft ist so schön, dass uns die Aussicht aus Gordes nicht mehr allzu beigeistern konnte. Das Örtchen an sich ist ebenso ideal - es bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und befand sich im Corona-Juni vollkommen abseits von Touristenströmen. Sehr freundliche und liebe Einwohner. Das Haus empfanden wir - zwei Ehepaare plus Kleinkind - als sehr grosszügig und charmant. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut. Der Pool hat eine tolle Grösse. Für Familien mit Kleinkindern sind die vielen absperrbaren Tore ein Segen. Einziges Manko des Hauses bildet auch dessen Reiz: das Haus ist mit Würde und Charme gealtert, was man nicht von allen Möbeln oder Gebrauchsgegenständen sagen kann. Manche Schubladen in den antiken Kommoden haben wir letzten Endes nicht genutzt, weil sie sehr hakten und die Bäder sind sicherlich nicht auf dem neuesten Stand. Dies jedoch hat uns keineswegs gestört. Wasserdruck war prima und Warmwasser kam sehr schnell. Das Bad ist sehr gross, das WC sauber. Die Küche verfügt über sehr gute Geräte - wir haben alle benutzt und viel gekocht. Einzig die Messer waren eine rechte Qual - was häufig in Ferienobjekten der Fall ist. Geschirr und Besteck, sowie Pfannen und Töpfe waren reichlich vorhanden. Der Gasgrill auf dem Balkon ist hervorragend. Auch die Waschmaschine nahmen wir in Anspruch - tadellos. Ein bezaubernder Rückzugsort, den man für alle empfehlen kann, die über die eine oder andere altersbedingte Macke hinweglächeln können. Jeder Abend auf der Terrasse war ein Genuss.

Traditional French stay with a view

We stayed for a week in June. Looking at the comments. First the improvements. There are some areas of the house which could do with improvement. The bathroom is a little tired and the beds are old antique beds which aren’t very long (people were shorter 100 years ago I guess). The kitchen could be improved but the range of utensils was excellent. On the positive side we had a great time. The outside terraces are fantastic. A view to die for . We spent the whole week outside and it was fabulous. The pool is gorgeous, very refreshing and we liked the concrete finish. There is a range of excellent outside furniture and shelter and sun aplenty. A great place to rest and charge the batteries

super schöner erholsamer Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem sehr schönen und gemütlichen Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt, zu Fuß ist der hübsche kleine Ort in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Hier gibt es zwei fantastische boulongerien, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, eine Post, eine Apotheke, Bars, Restaurants, alles was es für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Nachts ist es super ruhig, aus dem Hauptschlafzimmer schaut man direkt in den tollen alten Garten. Der Blick von der Terasse auf den Luberon ist großartig, toll ist aber auch, dass von der Terasse der Pool super einsehbar ist, was sicher praktisch ist wenn man mit kleineren Kindern dort ist. Darüber hinaus ist der Pool von der Straße aber nicht einsehbar, so dass man sich wunderbar und frei bewegen kann. Danke an den Vermieter, der Kontakt zu ihm war zu jeder Zeit unkompliziert, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir wäre jetzt gerne wieder da

Wonderful views

We had one of our happiest family holidays here at this wonderful villa. Its authentic, a little tired but has the most wonderful atmosphere and views to die for! The position is brilliant. Within walking distance to the pretty little town with good places to eat and an amazing bakery. Superb location to visit The Luberon and all the beautiful hill top villages and towns. We even managed to drive to Cassis to have a dip in the Med! The owner Philippe was so so helpful with local information/directions etc and patient with the endless emails! We will be back! Its a very special place.

Attractively situated villa. Certain interior standard improvments would benefit overall impression.

We would love to return to this house for its attractive situation in a village we like, its terrace, its view and its pool. However in our view the house needs a thorough standard uplift of kitchen, bathroom and bedding.

un séjour qui aurait pu être plus agréable si ...

Bien que la maison soit située à proximité du village avec une vue dominante et une piscine très agréable , les installations sanitaires (salle de bain avec baignoire ancienne, tringle et simples rideaux de douche ...) doivent être rénovées car totalement obsolètes . Il est de même pour la cuisine qui est dans le même état et qui mériterait un nécessaire et total rafraichissement et changement de certains meubles . L'installation électrique doit également être totalement revue afin d'éviter les coupures indisposantes et qui ont nécessité l'intervention d'un électricien . La location qui ne concerne qu'une partie de la maison car de nombreuses pièces sont fermées à clé (ainsi que de nombreux meubles) et un inventaire photographique des biens que l'on signe à l'entrée ne met pas en confiance le locataire .

Erholsame Ferien in St. Saturnin

Wir wohnten in einem sehr schönen Ferienhaus, mit großem Garten und sehr sauberen Pool. Obwohl das Haus direkt an der Straße liegt, wurden wir nachts von keinem Verkehrslärm gestört. Wir würden jederzeit in dieses Domizil wieder gehen. Einziger Nachteil ist, es ist nur eine Toilette vorhanden.

un coin de paradis au milieu de la Provence

Nous y avons passé une semaine au début de l'été 2016 ( famille : couple et 2 jeunes enfants ) Nous avons particulièrement apprécié : -> la vue : depuis la terrasse panorama à 270 ° degré sur la vallée -> situation : proximité immédiate avec le village = possibilité de faire les petites courses, pains, en partant à pied du logement -> l'espace : ... de la maison : vastes pièces, nombre de locaux,... les enfants ont pu trotter aisément et étaler leurs jouets. ...du terrain : les terrasses, le jardin, la piscine... nous n'avons pas ressenti de problème de vis-à-vis par rapport aux voisins. -> le charme du lieu : le mélange des matériaux anciens, de la piscine béton, du mobilier d'époque -> le mystère : cette cabane de chasse pour laquelle on imagine plein de ré-affectation. -> la gentillesse de madame Angelina Nous avons quitté les lieux en nous disant que nous y reviendrions avec grand plaisir. Merci quelques points " d'attention " : -> mobilier ' old school ' on aime ou on aime pas nous avons apprécié l'image de la 'maison chargée d'histoire' que cela véhicule...toutefois : - lit double un peu court ( lorsqu'on mesure 1,85m) - cuisine me semblant perfectible au niveau de la fonctionnalité -> sécurité des 'jeunes' enfants ( circulant à 4 pattes ) : escalier vers la chambre à l'étage peu sécurisant, mais pour le reste logement 'safe' :-)

A lovely house in a charming village

We had a lovely holiday in this charming house in the beautiful village of Saint Saturnin les Apt. Beautifully decorated, comfortable and well-equipped, the house is a gem with a very nice pool, much enjoyed by the whole family. With a couple of minutes walk to the boulangerie in the mornings and a lovely market on Tuesdays, we couldn't have asked for a better location in the village. The local people we met were all friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is stunning with lots of things to do and see and we managed a perfect combination of visiting other villages in the area, a day trip to Marseille, hiking and relaxing by the pool. The owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful, both before and during our stay , a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Superbe maison décorée à l'ancienne, idéalement située, qui correspond à la description et aux photos. Bon contact avec le propriétaire et accueil très sympathique avec la personne sur place. Terrasse formidable avec vue imprenable, très belle piscine. Mérite 5 étoiles, seul point négatif est l'unique salle de bains un peu obsolète. Cependant, nous y reviendrons volontiers. Je la recommande.

A week of perfect leisure and happiness

My three sons and I spent our holidays for the last days of august in Saint Saturnin-les-Apt. Theres a lot of space on the property, a wonderful private pool area and a great veranda to have breakfasts with a stunning view. The contact with the owner was absolutely uncomplicated and friendly. The location is a perfect homebase for trips to lovely places and villages in the heart of provence like Gordes, Roussillion or the Luberon mountains. Thanks to Philippe, we had an amazing week in paradise .

An excellent venue

This is a delightful house. The description is accurate & the place is well kept with a nice swimming pool. It is close to the village of St.Saturnin which has good restaurants and shops for daily necessities and is close to other interesting sites. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant L'Estrade which has excellent food made on the premises & you can see the chef in the kitchen at the back with occasional bursts of flame (brandy). The house has a magnificent terrace with views of the Luberon Hills to die for and is beautifully furnished with antique French pieces. It has the feel of a real home & the owner is most helpful.

Le charme d'une belle maison à Saint Saturnin. Nous avons apprécié, la vue magnifique de la belle terrasse, la fraîcheur ( malgré la chaleur) et, le charme un peu désuet de l'architecture et de la décoration intérieures, le béton " lissé" de la piscine et de ses abords et de là, la couleur de l'eau.. le jardin d'oliviers, le passage secret vers le village etc.... Nous aurions aimé un lit plus large, une baignoire plus avenante, et des haies pour notre intimité L'accueil d' Angelina et de son mari fut chaleureux... Description fidèle, propreté irréprochable, nous connaissions déjà le coin..le moulin de julien, les vignes du Puy Marquis, les ocres de Roussillon, etc.. Dr Pierre Vanrobays

La Terradoune

Les deux points forts de cette bastide sont sa terrasse où l'on peut dès le petit déjeuner découvrir une vue magnifique sur le Luberon et sa piscine, même si durant notre séjour en août 2011, nous avons regretté que les finitions ne soient pas faites (dallage du pourtour). Dans la chambre du 1er étage, des rangements seraient les bienvenus. La maison est très bien située à 150 m du centre du très joli village de Saint Saturnin où l'on trouve les commerces essentiels (le pain des deux boulangeries est excellent), un marché une fois par semaine, et de sympathiques et bons restaurants (notamment l'Estrade).
