Located on the western end of the lake, the home provides you with a tranquil, serene setting, a fabulous hiking trail that winds around the lake's edge, and a plethora of amenities that will provide hours of entertainment.



Your Great Room boasts plush leather seating, a large flat screen TV, and an impressive stone fireplace that will keep you warm and comfortable during those chilly winter nights. Make breakfast for the kids in the overly stocked kitchen or choose to barbeque dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill.



A bedroom with a King bed is also on this level in addition to a full bath with a shower stall and oversized jetted tub. Spend fun afternoons challenging each other to game of pool in the loft. Two more bedrooms are on this level, one with a King bed and the other with a Queen. Both rooms offer TVs for your viewing pleasure along with stunning lake views.

Relaxing Get Away

The house was very clean with a wonderful open floor plan. Nice big deck with gates so we could let our two pups hang out with us in the beautiful Fall weather. Huge fireplace that kept us nice and cozy on cooler nights and rainy days. Great trail by the lake for all of us (4 adults and 2 pups) to walk everyday. The area was quiet and peaceful.

We feel the house needs to be upgraded- the oven handle was broken and one of the cupboards wouldn’t stay shut. The pool table is in very poor shape- and we were specifically wanting a place we could play pool. The blinds are missing lots of pieces which were lying in the bedroom closet and under the bed. My husband found a dirty fork on the floor under the nightstand and KY jelly in the nightstand. Dirt and cobwebs in corners and on lamps and the shelving in the vanity downstairs was broken. The location is good and the fireplace was wonderful and the hot tub. But we will not be staying here again.

Had the basics but not enough towels for the 9 of us. Hot tub and fire place were enjoyed by all as well as the frozen lake views and lake side trail. Close to swallow falls SP for a scenic hike and Wisp for winter sports.

nice but lacking

The house has a really nice layout and definitely facilitates spending quality time with people you enjoy. The fireplace is really gorgeous and the kitchen is nice and spacious and decently equipped. However it definitely is obvious that nobody really lives in this house or personally cares for it. The outside and grounds are in sore need of a little TLC and the house is a little too close to the road for my comfort. The inside is better taken care of but is lacking any personal touch and is a lot more sterile and empty than we were expecting. For example the pool table is barely functional and only one of the pool cues was actually straight and usable. Also the property management company had a strong corporate feel and wasn't always so great at answering my questions. It seemed like they were pretty hassled that I even had any at all. The whole thing felt a little bit like a racket and seemed a little overpriced for what it was. Seemed they are more interested in making a profit than making sure people have great experiences. This being said it was very quiet and peaceful, we had a really great time there as a family and we were extremely grateful that we could bring our pets.

Reviewer Comments: our family (and boat) and friends family enjoyed the warm cozy cedar ridge. unfortunately our weather was not optimal for boating,we made great memories over our week. exploring local attractions ( which during off season are only open on weekends) and having fires at night in the fireplace. Watch out for the black bear mama and her two cubs! the boat dock was nice, easily accessible, just across the street.

The home is in great shape, very comfortable, well stocked kitchen and perfect layout for a home with two teens. We could all be together in the great room or seek our own spaces. We loved our private dock and the road around the lake. The setting on Stockslager road is particularly tranquil and near a cove where most motorized boats don't go. We also enjoyed the 2 mile trail around the lake - which began at our home. Cedar ridge was clean, well stocked, in great shape. We also had a very easy experience with Taylor-Made, who responded immediately to an incident when our outdoor bear box met a bear at night. We hope to return soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is probably the 4th time I've stayed at Cedar Ridge and I love almost everything about the property. Less than 100 yards to the dock. The hot tub was clean and water clear. Maintenance responded within a few hours of request to fix a shower nozzle (they've been this fast to respond in previous years too). The house is clean and comfortable with a dinner table and separate high top/card table placed behind the couches to watch TV or eat. 2 things to improve: 1. Hot water is backwards in upstairs bathroom. 2. AC in smaller upstairs bedroom is nearly useless since the vent was placed under the bed. I bring a fan and have to keep the door open to have some fresh air.
