Charming apartment in old stone house in this ancient village at the heart of Hvar's emerging wine industry. A spacious split-level terrace overlooks the surrounding countryside, with spectacular views down to the coast and beyond to the mainland. The property includes two double bedrooms as well as a small living room with a cot bed if needed, as well as a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/dining room opening onto to a two-level terrace. Washing machine included. The house is split into several homes, of which the top level comprises the property for rent.

Absolutely wonderful!!!

Beautiful and comfortable apartment. The view is incredible, and you can sit on the terrace sipping the village's wine while looking at the grapes it came from, with the Adriatic in the distance. A short 5 minute drive to Jelsa, where you can find everything you need (food, wi-fi, etc). Perfect.

Terrasse mit wunderbarem Panoramablick

Das Feriendomizil punktet ganz deutlich mit der sensationellen Terrasse, auf der man morgens frühstücken und abends den Sternenhimmel bewundern kann. Nur ein fest installierter Wäscheständer hat die Aussicht ein bisschen gestört. Insgesamt bietet die Unterkunft alles, was man braucht. Teilweise hätten wir uns eine etwas liebevollere Inneneinrichtung gewünscht. Hier und da ist ein Griff am Schrank locker oder es kommt einem die Steckdose entgegen, wenn man zu kräftig zieht. Es wirkte alles etwas provisorisch. Seltsam war, dass der Vermieter offenkundig seine persönlichen Sachen gar nicht weggeräumt hat, so fanden wir im ohnehin sehr kleinen Bad einen winzigen Badschrank, der angefüllt mit persönlichen Kosmetikartikeln war. Genau so verhielt es sich mit den Schubladen im Sideboard oder dem einzigen Kleiderschrank, der merkwürdigerweise in der Küche platziert war. Die beiden Schlafzimmer waren spartanisch, aber ganz hübsch eingerichtet, das Wohnzimmer bestand aus einem möblierten Flur mit einer Liege, einem kleinen Tisch, einem Sideboard und einer Korbbank und bot so gar keinen Charme. Ungemütlich wirkten auch die Leuchtmittel an den Decken; legiglich in der Küche war eine Lampe montiert. Alles in allem hätte man mit wenigen Details viel mehr aus der Wohnung machen können. Für einen zweiwöchigen Urlaub ist sie in Ordnung.

Wunderschön gelegenes Haus mit großartigem Ausblick. Zentral gelegen!

Schön gelegene Wohnung in einem kleinen Ort in der Mitte der Insel. In 15 Minuten ist man an diversen Stränden, in 10 Minuten in Jelsa!

Urlaub wie in der Wohnung von Freunden. Ruhig und authentisch.

Schön ruhig und abseits vom Trubel gelegen. Wirklich grossartiger Blick ins Tal, zum Meer und in die Berge. Eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Wir hatten das Gefühl, Urlaub in der Wohnung von Freunden zu machen. Netter hilfbereiter Kontakt vor Ort. Leitungswasser fast nicht gechlort und gut trinkbar. Selbst im Hochsommer. Kleiner Bäcker mit TanteEmmaLaden im Ort.

Why they chose this property

We first stumbled on this property in 2002, and were instantly smitten. It is something to do with the surprise of turning the corner at the top of the steps and seeing the whole valley down to the ocean open up spectacularly before you. The home is simple and classic, but the views are priceless.
