Located at the crossroads between the Sorrento and Amalfi coast, just minutes from Pompeii and Naples and piers to the island of Capri.
This place, surrounded by the green of the Mediterranean and the scent of lemon and olive trees, is an oasis of relaxation and tranquility.
The apartment is located a few meters from the most famous beaches of the coast and is an ideal solution for people wishing to move between the major sights of the area (Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Capri).
Situated in a villa, the apartment has a living room with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a large terrace overlooking the bay and Vesuvius volcano ... where you can relax in peace and enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
I will be available for any advice and planning of visits of places of interest. At the same time I can advise guests visit places unknown to mass tourism That will allow you to live the cultures and customs of the place.
The accommodation is Within walking distance of the train station Circumvesuviana Pozzano That can reach Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples (open from 15/6 to 15/9).
2 km from the ferries to the islands of Capri and Ischia.

Ideal for people wishing to make a car tour of the main places of artistic, historical, cultural place.

Villa Arcoiris "garden on the sea"

Situated between Sorrento and Pompeii, Villa Arcoiris "garden on the sea", was a perfect location to explore the area. There are buses that run right outside the premises and the train is a 40 minute walk through Castellammare. The train was very convenient in getting to Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento. There are taxis available at the train station as well. The public/local beach is a 20 minute walk away. It's small, but not crowded and has the feel of a private beach. The accomodations were very nice, very clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the kitchen for the occasional cooking and tea. The terrace was lovely and the view is breathtaking. Catello was very welcoming and accomodating especially in my late arrival. His recommendations and advise was appreciated and spot on. To really get an authentic Italian experience stay at Villa Arcoiris "garden on the sea" and walk through Castellammare. Stop for espresso and pastry in the morning. Patronize the local shops where the produce,cheese, bread and other products are fresh. (Many shops close at 1:00 pm and reopen later in the afternoon) In the evening the restaurants are lively and the gelato lines long. I enjoyed my time and the local area.

Ruhig gelegenes Domizil mit schönem Blick

Für herbstliche Ausflüge an die Amalfiküste, Sorrent oder die antiken Stätten ist die Wohnung ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist eine Fahrt auf den Monte Faito - entweder per Seilbahn oder über die sehr kurvige Straße. Die Aussicht auf die Bucht von Neapel und die sorrentinische Halbinsel ist grandios! Der Besitzer ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfreich, auf Wünsche oder Fragen antwortet er umgehend. Auch wenn der Garten eine super Aussicht hat - im Oktober war es leider bereits zu kühl, um abends draußen zu sitzen. Entgegen der vorigen Bewertungen hatten wir mit einem Mittelklassewagen keinerlei Probleme bezüglich der Zufahrt, ein wenig rangieren ist dennoch erforderlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Parking improbable, stations du circumvésuvia fermées donc obligation de reprendre sa voiture pour chaque déplacement et de payer le parking en plus, salle de bain d'un autre âge,zone extrêmement sale ( décharge à ciel ouvert , accès à la plage entre les caissons de bouteilles et les déchets en tout genre). Très belle vue depuis le petit jardin et terrasse privative sur le Vésuve et la mer si on fait abstraction de l'établissement en ruine juste à ses pieds. Privilégiez une autre localité pour un séjour dans cette région comme vico équencé ou piano di sorrento avec accès direct au circumvésuvia pour se rendre à Naples , pompéi Herculanum, au Vésuve ou à Sorrente. Accueil sympatique

Optimale Lage

Sowohl Neapel wie auch die Amalfitana waren mit dem Auto (Kleinwagen) problemlos erreichbar - auch waren in der ersten Märzwoche noch Parkplätze (z.B. in Positano und Amalfi) zu finden. Der Ausblick von der Terasse auf den Vesuv war wirklich Klasse, bei klarer Sicht war auch Ischia zu sehen. Catello war als Vermieter äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfreich.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Arcoiris. The apartment has all the amenities we needed and parking for our hire car. The view from the garden was stunning Due to the time of year (end of Oct) a lot of the nearby amenities were closed so we had to drive everywhere. Easy to access to the Amalfi coast, mountains and Pompei. Thanks to the owner Catello for his help (came to find us when we got lost!) and gave us lots of info re places to visit and eat. Would be happy to stay again if we returned to the area

Schöne FeWo mit Garten als idealer Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing

Geräumige und schöne Ferienwohnung. Vom Garten aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf Neapel und den Vesuv. Ausstattung gut und sehr sauber. Idealer Ausgangspunkt zur Besichtigung von Herculaneum, Pompeji, den Vesuv, die Amalfi-Küste und Neapel. Lediglich die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrmitteln ist etwas schlecht (Station Circumvesuviana ca. 3 km entfernt). PKW-Auffahrt nur etwas für geübte Fahrer!

Lovely location, beautiful view, idea location for enjoying the Amalfi Coast

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at "garden on the sea". It had a beautiful view and was comfortable for three adults. It was very hard to locate for us as we did not have access to internet while driving and our map app (maps me) could not locate the rental. Once we located it, we truly enjoyed our stay. We also enjoyed the town of Castellammare di Stabia. It is a little off the Amalfi Coast main drag and was a nice place to grab a pizza and enjoy a stroll and was an easy drive to Pompeii.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans cette location. Il y a beaucoup d'espace, une belle terrasse à partager avec la location voisine, une superbe vue. Le logement est bien situé, proche du train, de la mer, des plages et des grands axes. Catello est très attentionné et ses parents qui habitent sur place sont d'une grande gentillesse. Un seul inconvenient : la maison est mal insonorisėe et on entend trop les voisins du dessus.

Catello nous a très bien accueilli et donné des tas de conseils judicieux. Le jardin offre une vue paradisiaque sur la baie. La plage est accessible à pieds ainsi que le train (ne pas hésiter malgré l'aspect peu accueillant). Castellamare di Stabia n'est pas une ville touristique mais c'est ce qui fait tout son intérêt ! On sent vibrer le coeur de l'Italie du sud ! Séjour avec 2 enfants sans problèmes pour un prix tres attractif. N'hésitez pas !!!

Bonne situation pour visiter

Catello nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de sympathie, nous a informé des possibilités de visites et des moyens d'accès. Il s'est montré vraiment très attentionné. L'appartement est spacieux, bien équipé, calme avec une vaste terrasse avec citronniers, effectivement un oasis dominant la mer, avec vue sur le Vésuve, splendide au coucher de soleil. L'accès est surprenant, étroit , en forte montée et demande un minimum de dextérité, la priorité est au véhicule montant . En marge de la ville, il est idéalement situé entre Naples, les sites archéologiques, le Vésuve et les villes de la côte almafitaine. Le centre de Castellammare est accessible à pied en 30-40 mn, le port (départ pour Capri en 30 mn, possibilité de parking voiture payant à proximité. Le supermarché, situé sur Pompéi, est plus éloigné mais accessible notamment lors des retours de visites. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, malgré le temps très nuageux.

Een prachtig uitzicht en bijzonder vriendelijke gastheer Catello

Fantastisch verblijf voor het bezoeken van de bezienswaardigheden rondom Napels zoals de Amalfi kust, Pompei, Napels en Capri. Catello geeft veel tips en helpt echt met vragen. Heel handig en snel via WhatsApp. Ook de tip om via de kabelbaan naar boven te gaan en daar een wandeling te maken was geweldig! We houden hele fijne herinneringen aan ons verblijf!

Très agréable séjour malgré la pluie. Villa très confortable et très bien situé. Vu imprenable.

Nous avons eu un accueil très convivial avec Catello le propriétaire. Il nous à tout bien expliqué et conseillé . D'une gentillesse extrême. On C'est senti super bien. De plus, villa très confortable avec une vue à coupé le souffle sur le Vesuve et la baie de Naples. L'appartement est spacieux, le lit king size très confortable. Un seul souci, il n'y a pas de four à micro onde mais on s'en passe très bien. Nous avons passé une semaine formidable malgré la pluie du mois de mars. Nous conseillons sans problème cette location à tous ceux qui veulent visiter cette magnifique région. Petit bémol, ne pas venir avec un gros véhicule car le chemin pour monter à la villa n'est pas très large, par contre il y a une place privative pour la voiture. Nous avions louer une Skoda Fabia et nous n'avons pas eu le moindre soucis pour accéder à la villa. Merci encore à Catello pour son accueil et sa convivialité. A très bientôt. Christiane et Daniel

eenvoudig maar alles is aanwezig.

we hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en het uitzicht was perfect op de Vesuvius met de auto ben je zo in Pompei en met de trein in Napels op 200 meter van het strand (kiezel) waar je ligstoelen kunt huren. de verzorging bij Bagna Elena is prima. Het appartement is heel italiaans en de bedden zijn prima het is eenvoudig maar alles is aanwezig en als je wat nodig hebt zorgen ze ervoor dat het er komt wij hadden een tuintje erbij waar we heerlijk konden lunchen. In de tuin staan allemaal mediterrane planten waaronder citroenbomen. De citroenen mocht je plukken voor eigen gebruik de eigenaar Catello is zeer vriendelijk en geeft veel tips over de omgeving die hij daarna via de App stuurt waardoor je deze weer kunt gebruiken als route.

Lovely apartment, clean and tidy, everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay here, the views from the gardens over the bay of Naples are fantastic. Apartment lovely and clean and the owner Catello available if and when needed, as he lives next door. Catello was the perfect host, ensuring we had everything on our arrival, giving us tips on where to go and things to see, gave us many links on best places to visit and eat out. The families homemade limoncello baba was a nice welcome gift. We had hired a car so getting about was OK for us, parking available but a bit of squeeze like many roads. Small public beach 500m away the apartment came with a couple of beach towels and a sun parasol to use. We really enjoyed it here and hope to return. Thank you

Très bon séjour

Très bon accueil. Appartement très propre. L'accès à la maison est en pente raide et assez étroit pour entrer et sortir la voiture. Le jardin offre un beau point de vue sur la baie de Naples et le Vésuve et permet d'apprécier les beaux couchers de soleil. La location est bien placée entre Naples et la côte Almafitaine.

Grossartiger Ausblick, gute Lage

Die Ferienwohnungen hat alles was man benötigt. Netter hilfsbereiter Vermieter wohnt im Obergeschoss. Vom kleinen Garten aus hat man einen grossartigen Blick auf den Vesuv. Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Empfehlenswerte preiswerte Wohnung.

Lovely surroundings

Catello's apartment was very nice. It's outside of Castallammare di Stabia and a 2 mile hike into town. The return to the house is an uphill route at the end. Apparently one can ride a bus or get a taxi, but we didn't see many of either. Catello spent time upon our arrival sharing information about the area: what we could do and how to get around. He/ his mother, brought us an absolutely divine bottle of wine and Catello is a fine host, who wanted to make sure that our stay was perfect. There is a lot of space to spread out inside and out the apartment. We had the garden view, but the view on the terrace overlooking Vesuvius is breathtaking. The only negative to staying here was that part of the route we took into town didn't have sidewalks and that was precarious dodging traffic, or being dodged. Bottom line: I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A memorable time

Catello and his family were fantastic hosts! Catello was kind enough to meet us just outside Pozzano station and load all my family luggages to the beautiful villa. The pictures of the villa is what you see and the view in the yard faces the gulf of all of Naples, and are to die for! Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves walking to places and has a car. The only minor problem is the unreliable transport, have patience , but you can still get around. Thank you Catello for making our stay very welcoming!

Gute Unterkunft mit netten Gastgebern.

Eine solide Unterkunft mit guter Ausgangslage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Man konnte die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus genießen, aber der Ort selber ist nicht schön. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber mit großen Zimmern und alles an Ausstattung was man brauchte. Sehr zu empfehlen und würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Pour petit déjeuner ou prendre un verre face au vésuve....

Très bon point de départ pour visiter la côte , Pompéï, le Vésuve.... En pleine saison, prévoir les déplacements en train ( à 3 minutes à pieds de l'appartement ) Ne pas hésiter à faire appel au propriétaire pour ses précieux conseils, que ce soit pour des visites, du shopping ou réserver un bon restaurant! Très bon accueil... Disponible et prévenant...
