Villa i Cedri, built in stone, lies on the side of a hill dominating Val di Chiana bordering with Umbria. The view over all the plain is splendid reaching the hills of Montepulciano in the province of Siena and the sunsets are absolutely amazing. It is easy to reach the Etruscan town of Cortona, famous for its Etruscan remains, its antique and modern shops and typical restaurants. The film “La Vita è Bella” winner of 3 Oscars, was set here. The surrounding hills are covered with olive groves and woods alternated with cultivated fields on the terraced lands held by rubble walls. A holiday at this villa means excursions even in the region of Umbria especially to Lake Trasimeno and to the cities of Perugia and Assisi. The property, fenced and with a lawn with olive trees, has a swimming pool (12x6, 1.00 – 2.00m deep)(01/05-30/09) with outdoor shower, a barbeque with a wood-fired oven, a solarium terrace and loggia furnished for outdoor meals, games for children. The laundry is in a room separate from the main building. The villa has central heating, wi-fi Internet connection and air conditioning (from 2017 season). You can have a maid, baby sitter, chef and cookery courses upon request. The house is reached by a small, asphalted, uphill road not suitable for minivans. Car park on the property.
