Living room, dining room with table for 6, two bedrooms (one with a full size bed, one with 2 single beds), one full bathroom, one half-bath, kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, and wine fridge. Perfect place for a small group in Ipanema

Four of us stayed for 5 days. The apartment was nicer than the pictures show. Gina had excellent communication and was flexible with us for check-in and check-out as other guests were not arriving/departing immediately. Location was perfect for all Ipanema has to offer and was close to the metro. Apartment was secure and the doorman was kind. Air conditioners and ceiling fans worked great in each room, which is important for Rio summers. Bathroom and shower were some of the cleaner I've seen in Rio--very welcome! Hot water also worked well. Kitchen had everything we needed and it was great to be able to wash and hang dry our clothes. You can tell that this was a home and that the host cares about her guests. Highly recommended!

Great location between Ipanema Beach and Lagoa (Rio's central Lagoon)

Exactly as advertised. The website pictures are a good representation of the inside of the apartment. The owner speaks both English and Portuguese and is very responsive. I had a last minute change of travel plans and she was able to quickly adjust my stay. The beauty of this apartment is its location. You can walk to Ipanema beach in the morning, come back for lunch, and walk to the Lagoa for an evening bicycle ride around it. Oh and don't forget to stop for drink of cold coconut water. There is a large grocery shop around the corner and a ton of fantastic restaurants around the area. The apartment's doorman is also very friendly and will help you get your bearings. Very happy with my stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Gina's place. We were there for New Year and could not ask for a better stay. The location was great, walking distance to Copacabana, without the crowds.

Wonderful stay in Rio Blocks From the Beach!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay in Gina's apartment during the Carnival holiday. The apartment is comfortable and the AC worked great once we closed the doors to the kitchen. The large refrigerator and the kitchen was useful for quick bites when we didn't want to venture out to get something to eat. The best aspect of the apartment is the location. It is only blocks from both ipanema and copacabana, a metro stop, many restaurants, and the area seems pretty quiet and safe. There is a doorman during the day and multiple layers of security so there was no worries for our belongings. In fact, both me and my friend accidentally left things in the apartment like my iPhone and his license and credit card as we hurried to get to the airport. Gina was so helpful and trustworthy that she had a family member bring the phone back to the U.S to mail to me and also was able to mail my friend his belongings in just a week. It was very easy dealing with her because she speaks English and you can contact her in the US. She is also very good about responding quickly. The price during carnival compared to a hotel was unbeatable. We hope to head back and rent again for carnival or New Years next year.
