*NEW Luxury Private Villa - Heated Pool - WiFi - BBQ - Sea Views

A newly-furnished modern luxury family villa. Air conditioned, sleeps up to 8 people along with a private swimming pool. Sitting at the top of a small hill the house has amazing views stretching to the hills and the sea. A view which is equally impressive at night with all the town lights and stars above across into the sea. The house is located no more that 15 minutes by car of some of the best beaches, golf courses, local markets and shopping centers and the old main town of Loule. The main road N125 and A22 motorway stretching the whole of the Algarve are also both within 10 minutes’ drive of the villa.
The heated/cooled pool makes any time a good time for a dip. Outdoor Table Football and Ping Pong Table provide hours of fun. The back gardens of the property are maintained throughout the year with tropical plants and flowers, mature canopy trees allowing for shady areas during the midday sun, a perfect place to relax in one of the hammocks.

Beautiful Villa, Great Hosts

Our first impression of the villa was how clean it was. However the best part was the sweeping views of the hills and ocean. The hosts were attentive to any questions in a timely way. All in all a wonderful place to see the southern part of Portugal.

Beautiful property

What a lovely, relaxing home this is. There are neighbors nearby, but the house is situated so that it looks over the valley, but you can't see the houses nearby, making it feel very private. The upstairs balcony was one of my favorite spots. At the end of the day, it was the perfect place to sit and relax with a glass of wine, and listen to the sounds of the Algarve at night.

Great house with plenty of room. Pool and views at night were great. Some appliances were challenging to work but I think that was language barrier. We visited lots of great beaches in the area. You definitely need a car. Great vacation.

Needed any type of towel in the kitchen.Could use exhaust fans in bathrooms.Overall home was very comfortable for 3 couples.Beds were comfortable.Location was nice with a good view.Nice pool area .Wish we were there when the weather was warmer, but the owners did offer to heat the pool.Nice to have a barbecue.Wifi worked well.Cable channels limited to Portuguese.Landscaping was beautiful.Lots of amenities.Would recommend this home to a friend.

Magnificent Property

A bit difficult to find initially, but this property exceeded all expectations. Clean, well-furnished, and very tastefully decorated, there were personal touches throughout. Great views, well-maintained, comfortable beds ... we loved everything about it. A few suggestions: it's nice not to have to go out and buy kitchen basics like salt, pepper, paper towels and napkins, but these are minor. Overall we loved the property and will be back if at all possible.

Our great stay at Casa da Fonte

We had a great stay at this lovely villa set in a peaceful and secluded location. It has all the facilities necessary for an effortless stay and is beautifully presented. Whilst staying we had a family wedding near by and the villa was a great base from which to operate. We also had our six month old grandson with us and he was able to enjoy his first dip in the swimming pool. On a practical note there are supermarkets nearby in Loule and a number of nice restaurants in the small towns and villages around Telihero. Sergio and Sonia were easily accessible online and came back quickly. Housekeeper Gloria was lovely as well. In summary a great place for a relaxing family holiday.

We were 2 families with 2 kids each, Villa is in a stunning and comfortable location but a car is a must. We enjoyed the facilities and Sergio and Sonia are really helpful. Exceptional Vacation Property

We had the great fortune of finding this amazing villa with a breathtaking view. There were three couples in our party. The amenities and premises are newly renovated with all the comforts of home plus more. The owners Sergio and Sonia were so helpful with their recommendations and suggestions for local sites to see. We would recommend this place to everyone. Having a vehicle to see the highlights of the Algave is a must. Thanks Sergio and Sonia and family for the best vacation we have had so far.

We are a family of four; Sergio, Sonia and our two rowdy girls, Amelie and Angela. We all currently live in London with our chocolate brown Labrador called Maia. Although we met in London both our families are originally from the north of Portugal, near a city called Braga, high up in the rural green mountains. Although it’s very different to the Algarve it’s an amazing area, with spectacular views, the weather is normally much cooler, although the summer can be just as hot as in the Algarve.
As a family, we love our holidays and are fortunate to have travelled to many different countries and have stayed in many different places and felt we wanted a holiday home from home.
The Algarve is one of the sunniest places in Europe with over 300 days of sun a year, this together with the easy access from London, we felt that it was the perfect location. (Speaking the language also helped.) With a hectic lifestyle in London, running our own translation services company www.absolutetranslations.com means we rarely get the chance to switch off, and coming here to Casa da Fonte does the trick! We now come here thought-out the year, the short flight and abundance of airlines allows for reasonably priced tickets.
We love our food and we often go to the local restaurants, although we also like to go and pick our fresh fish and vegetables at the local market for a BBQ in the evening once the sun has gone down.

Why they chose this property

Why this property? We recently purchased the villa in 2015 and fell in love with its character and charm. Sitting at the top of a small hill, the villa has amazing views stretching to the hills and the sea. A view which is equally impressive at night with all the town lights and stars above across into the sea.
The location was always a big factor for us as we wanted a place with a view. We chose central Algarve because of the easy access to all different areas, restaurants and beaches. Santa Barbara de Nexe area offered us all this without being in the middle traffic.
The house is located no more than 15 minutes by car of some of the best beaches, golf courses, local markets, shopping centres and the old main town of Loule. The main road N125 and A22 motorway stretching the whole of the Algarve are also both within 10 minutes’ drive of the villa.

We also love that Casa da Fonte is a detached and contemporary villa with architecture that blends in with that of the traditional houses of the Algarve.
