What a wonderful stay! The house was spotless upon arrival and check-in was seamless. We had plenty of space for eight adults. We were able to enjoy the outdoor space by using the fire pit and SUPs. The team was attentive via text. Would highly recommend this for a large group…would be great for families with young kids as the upstairs loft area (and game room) would def be kid faves. Would love to come here again in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Great stay at this place — brand new, super clean, and a really convenient spot just outside Traverse City so you get the quiet lake setting but you're still a quick drive from all the restaurants and shops downtown. Way more space than we expected for the price — the kitchen island alone was worth it for cooking with the family, and the open layout made it never feel cramped with our group. Kids loved the dock and fire pit. Host was easy to deal with and everything worked as advertised. Would book again without hesitation.

Amazing stay for a group of friends!

Stayed here for a weekend away with a bunch of friends, we loved the amenities of the property including a hot tub, lakeview, and games down the basement! Also loved the proximity to Traverse City- only 15 minute drive! Tricia was extremely accommodating and accessible through the whole trip. 10/10 would recommend for family or friends getaway. Thank you for an amazing stay!

It Has Everything!

Excellent cottage

We had a great time. The cottage is absolutely as advertised. It is very clean and has everything you need. The property manager helped us out to plow and salt when a heavy snow storm came. A great time for all ages, we will be back.

Girls Weekend Getaway

There was nothing about this experience I can’t rave enough about! Our check-in process was quick and painless and our host was very engaged and attentive to providing an outstanding experience for us. The house was neat, clean and decorated beautifully upon our arrival. The outdoor view was sensational and peaceful. I cannot recommend this stay enough!

Wonderful house

Fantastic house on a great very clean and clear lake. We had 10 people from 5 months to 70 years. All had a great time. We had a couple of questions and never waited more than a few minutes for an answer. Had a blast on the provided kayaks and paddle boards. Only thing that would have made it better is if we could have stayed longer.

This is the place you're looking for

Our group of 11 friends and fam had the most lovely time at Lakemore "cottage". There is no shortage of things to do around the property as it sits on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed grilling, hot tubing and kayak after long days of hiking. Sleeping, cooking and bathing accommodations were 1st class and and we had plenty of space to spread out! So many well thought details went into these properties, very impressive. A group of friends rented the neighboring "lodge" and they had just as pleasant of a stay. Highly recommend!

Our family gathering at the cottage

This property was beautiful, very well maintained with updated everything! Everything was top notch. We loved the property and proximity to the water/beach. Very easy access for the little kids! We rented the pontoon boat a couple days and it was great!! perfect condition with all the amenities supplied!! We loved it and would definetly come back again! Lakemore Retreat

The Cottage is beautiful with everything you need for a fantastic vacation. The view of the lake was exceptional. We had access to kayaks and paddle boards. The kids spent hours on the Lily pad. This is a five star cottage.

80th birthday family celebration

We had an amazing time at your property! Tricia was very responsive to all our questions. The place was beautiful and well stocked with everything. So many fun things to do at this property. We loved fishing, playing games, sitting by the bonfire, relaxing in the hot tub, paddle boarding, and eating at some yummy restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here!

My friends and I had so much fun celebrating my upcoming wedding! The house was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views. We had a blast using all the property had to offer - hot tub being our favorite! We went downtown for dinner and did winery tours. No need to search further, you will love staying here! Perfect location for wife's 50th Birthday with friends!

An absolutely amazing home!!!!! We loved this home and truly enjoyed ourselves and the owners have thought of everything to make your trip wonderful. When I say they have thought of everything I mean EVERYTHING. From the moment you book the house the communication was amazing, check in was easy and worry free, need any type of cooking utensil - they have it, need music - they have Sonos throughout the house, forgot your USB cord - don't worry they have extra, forgot your coffee - they have fresh local coffee available. Simply amazing home with everything you would need to have a great trip. Our stay was in February and it was great. Heated floors in the patio room and heat on all three floors. I really can not express how great this house was and how much detail the owners put in to making our stay wonderful.

Luxury on the Lake

We stayed at the Cottage. It was a great experience. Excellent communication from the host. Thank you Tricia for helping make our family vacation a success. The property is fantastic. Pictures don't do it justice. Upon entering the house, I was immediately impressed with the layout and quality of materials used in construction. Numerous details exceeded my expectations; heated floors in the sun room, a mud room leading out to the hot tub fully stocked with clean beach towels, robust floors and tall/wide doorways that give you a feeling of luxury that is hard to put your finger on. The builders clearly knew what they were doing. The property is managed well. We stayed in the winter. All outdoor paths were clear and well-maintained. The steep one-lane road to access the property was completely dry and cleared of snow. It was looked better than some of the major high-ways I took to travel there. The location is unique. It was fun to get out on the ice to ice-fish and build snowmen with my boys, but I am fantasizing about staying at this place in the summer. There is a fire pit in the back that is essentially level with the water. I was imagining sitting by the fire on a warm summer night, seeing the water glistening in the sun set just a few body lengths away. You just have to see it to understand how special this place is.

We rented the Lakemore “Cottage” as a holiday family get away and this place created memories! Beautifully appointed and well stocked, we could not have asked for a better experience. Superb service and communication from management. We will be back!
