Nicely designed space and total peace - we woke up to the sound of the birds and the sheep. Good bathroom and big terrace. Friendly and very helpful lady managing tho property.
We thoroughly enjoyed the rural idyll of Oleander House in October. Housekeeper Aggeliki was very helpful and caring, answering all our questions on local foods, habits etc. and giving us lots of useful tips. At the end of the season we had Kambos Beach, which was just a five-minute walk from the house, more or less all to ourselves. We truly had a relaxing time there.
Staying at this house was a dream. Kampos beach is a quick walk away, and the facilities were immaculate and cozy. Each morning we woke up to a magical cocktail of gently tinkling goat bells, distant roosters, & friendly sunbeams. Good smelling soap, comfy towels, and a beautiful view of the Kampos valley carried us through the week. The AC works as does every other appliance, and the coffee and biscuits left in the kitchen were very much appreciated. We couldnt have asked for a better place to spend a week together. Thank you!
Beautiful peaceful oasis. Nicoletta was extremely helpful during check in and provided very prompt responses to my enquires. She also offered advice regarding car rental options making our stay hassle free. The beach is a short 15 minute walk. The house keeper and her husband were available to solve any issues and were very helpful and charming. It might be helpful to mark the driveway in order to find it in the darkness. Certainly a perfect set up for two couples travelling together. Thank you for making our stay so easy and peaceful.
La mer est accessible à pied. La villa est entourée de champs et d'arbres et est aussi jolie que sur les photos. Elle est très fonctionnelle pour une famille avec deux chambres séparées.
Perfect setting for families with proximity to the beach but with character and nice views to the countryside. House was very clean and functional with daily maid service. Owner was very polite and was checking with us to ensure everything was right but always discrete and kind. Highly recommended.
Just fabulous! If you want to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of Patmos island this is THE place to stay. Top class accommodation with daily cleaning service - amazing terrace with beautiful view of the countryside and hills. Two separate studio with their own kitchens and bathrooms - ideal for two couples, friends, or family with older children wanting their own space.
Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Mrs. Nicoletta Nomicou
I am from Athens, however I have very close ties with two beautiful Greek islands Santorini and Patmos.
As my father’s family is from Santorini I spent all my summers there. Since I am a licensed tour guide, in 2004 I decided to move to Santorini in order to work there. This was a great chance to start renovating my family’s properties in order to be able to share them with people from all over the world.
In addition, many years ago, my mother visited the island of Patmos, fell in love with it and decided to buy two beautiful pieces of land, including very old farmhouses in ruinous condition, that she slowly renovated. In this way, our family and numerous friends enjoyed many unforgettable Patmos Easters and summers. Nowadays, I am responsible for the good condition of the houses that I rent out and share the beauty and special ambiance of this island with our guests.
I am very lucky since my twin daughters, Alexandra and Christina, having completed their studies abroad in hospitality management and tourism, returned to their roots in order to continue and develop what I started. Genuine hospitality, love and respect for the island, as well as the embracement of the local culture define our core values. Nowadays we all share our time between Santorini, Patmos and Athens, and have the honor and pleasure to share our family’s story and our love for these islands, with visitors from all over the world.
Why they chose this property
This newly built house is designed to evoke a feeling of simplicity and serenity, while encapsulating the traditional spirit of the island! Only a 5-minute walk away from Kampos beach!
