Lovely property, great location

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is very central, so everywhere within the central city was within walking distance. Good internet, free cable TV (including CNN and many other English-language news channels. Fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

An amazing stay in an amazing location

The property owners were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is beautiful, clean, wonderfully equipped AND in a great location. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable,very well equipped and a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates was a nice touch.The apartment is very well situated for exploring the city and there is plenty to see there and the surrounding area.Luisa and Jose were lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful,we thank them for making our stay so enjoyable.

Ever since I found out about this flat, I use it for my visits to Viana do Castelo. It's perfectly located in the city centre, but in an area with not too much noise and with parking available nearby. You can't miss the bakery down the flat, amazing pastries and great breakfast options. Check-in and check-out was seamless and the house was impeccably clean. It's a simple, great flat that I would recommend to anyone visiting Viana.

Little Gem

Emily’s Apartment, was perfect for our seven day stay in Viana do Castelo. Luisa and José met us upon our arrival and directed to our parking space. They also aquatinted us to the apartment. The bottle of wine and chocolates were much appreciated. The apartment is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Most anything you want to see or do is a short walk once you step outside the door. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone staying in Viana do Castelo.

Excellent Stay in Viana do Castelo, PT

We stayed 2 weeks in Luisa and Jose's apartment. This was by far the best equipped/furnished apartment we have stayed in. Absolutely everything was there that one could possibly ask for. Luisa and Jose are extremely nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. They met us in front of the apartment and Jose was so kind to carry our bags up to the 2nd floor (back down and the end). Since we were on an extended trip we had 2 large suitcases. The apartment was all we hoped for and the wine, chocolate and nuts they had waiting for us were much appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent location right in the old town, a short walk to everything. If you just want to stay in town a car is not needed since groceries and butcher shops are practically next door. We did many day trips from there and very much enjoyed that area of northern Portugal.

My wife and I stayed at Jose and Luisa's flat for four nights and really enjoyed it. The flat has a nice, central location in Viana do Castelo. It's a great place for a couple or a couple with a child to stay. The flat is immaculate and it's quiet at night. The living room and each bedroom have individual heating/cooling equipment and we used the heating equipment in February for the rooms we occupied. We used the kitchen to make our own breakfast and dinner, and it was easy since the flat has a full complement of quality cooking pans, plates, and utensils. The appliances are all Bosch and Siemens - really nice equipment. There is no parking really in the town center, so you'd be saving yourself a lot of hassle by using Jose and Luisa's parking space across the street. The additional price was very reasonable, and the parking space was really large. Viana is a great base from which to explore the Minho area of Portugal. Finally, Jose and Luisa met us at the flat to let us in, give us the keys, and give us an orientation of the flat and how things worked. This was really helpful and we appreciated the time they spent with us (including walking us through the parking). Finally, they left us fruit and some wonderful Pasteles de Nata desserts as a welcome gift. We really appreciated this. We recommend this flat - it's a great choice. Petit nid douillet et très bien équipé
