We had a large group and this space was perfect. Lots of separate spaces for different families and incredible outdoor space. The pictures definitely don’t do it justice!
14 of us stayed at this house. It was perfect for our weekend. The house is incredible spacious with lots of activities right at the house. You can rent boats from Jerry so you have no reason to leave. The dock is huge to accommodate a big group hanging out. Would recommend!

Great place for family reunion, kids
Our family group of 24 adults and 8 toddlers spent a full week at the end of June and we were delighted with our "fit" for the property. With all three buildings there was adequate space for everyone and the outside space and game areas inside the lodge were great for the kids. We ate our evening meals in the lodge, using a fully stocked kitchen. 3 other kitchen areas were used during the day. The only downside is that some of the bedrooms, those carved out in the garage and first floor of the lodge, do not have walls going all the way to the ceiling so there is a little less privacy. It was nice to have that space, however. We will definitely consider a return for the whole group.

Our annual family reunion at Powers Lake
Our family enjoyed a great 4day Labor Day weekend at this wonderful and charming property. It is filled with character! Nine adults, ages 39-79, and nine children, ages 2 - 14, had plenty of room for outdoor avtivities and indoor games. We stayed in the Lodge. It had a fully equipped kitchen and so much room for the many game tables . Our two yr old grandson loved playing on the big stage. We all spent each day on the spacious pier or in the water. Water was so clean and warm! All the kids loved the raft, paddle boat and our son in law's boat provided knee board, water ski and many other water activities for the adults and kids. Our favorite times for our Italian family were around the super large table sharing a meal. We created great memories at Powers lake ar this beautiful Lodge. Thanks to Jerry for his love and care of these unique homes : the Lodge, the Cottage and the Lake home.

Beautiful property; needs more organization
The property is beautiful, the rental had lots of room for our large extended family. Nice fire pit, playground for the little ones, and we all loved playing in the lake and taking the pontoon out. We had a very nice stay. However, the property could be better maintained. There was only one extra roll of toilet paper left for us in the whole property, we had to call for more. The light switches in the main lodge (of which there were dozens), need to be labeled so renters can tell what they're for. Also, there should be better organization in the kitchen so we could find important things like dish rags, etc. which were hidden away and it took lots of searching to find. There were lots of games in the game room which was awesome, but we didn't find the pool cues (which were in a weird spot) until it was almost time to leave!
Overall, we loved the location, the view, and the space and had a great weekend!

Four Families
You were right, it was the perfect spot for family; grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. All four families had plenty of sleeping space, more than enough kitchen to prepare the meals and so many activities on the property that we did not leave, but twice. Next year, we will try to rent three boats. That way everyone can do his thing..everyday. My 13 year old grandson caught his first bass and his five year old brother caught a crappie. The best thing is everyone was able to do what he or she wanted, yet we were able to share a lot of activities. These two grandparents are still smiling and we have a scrapbook of memories.

Wonderful Reunion
Thank you. The best family reunion we ever had....and though there were 28 ....for all but two days, we never felt like we were crowded. The first day six of us got our fishing licenses and that day we caught enough fish to serve two meals. The pontoon boat was perfect for that number. Perhaps best of all, Powers Lake is clean and clear. Those who wanted to swim did so; those who did not found plenty of things to do...playing pool in the game room, playing cards, or sunbathing. The shoppers had fun in Lake Geneva. We will be back

Great Party House!
We had another wonderful stay at the Lodge. Everything was in great working order, clean, and ready for the fun to begin. Lots of space for cooking and serving large groups. Used the firepit, hung out on the dock, played games and enjoyed it all. Close to golf, shopping, and 10 minutes to live music and great restaurants. Jerry is great to work with, and very accommodating. Will definitely return~!

Best Family Vacation
We chose this house for our family of 12 adults and 7 children under the age of 7. It was perfect for each one of us. The house is beautifully furnished and immaculate with ample space to gather in large groups or small ones or for time alone. All items in the house are top quality and well maintained. The grounds are meticulously landscaped. There was nothing we wanted that was not supplied--even toys for the young ones. The water platform the hammock, the swing set and fishing was awesome. Tubing was the favorite of the little ones. In the evening, we played pool and board games. After dark, we gathered around the fire pit for talking and roasting marshmallows. This is definitely a five star destination. It is luxurious and comfortable. I highly recommend this property. Jerry, this is an amazing property! Thanks for sharing.

Cousin Reunion
Thank you for sharing your beautiful hideaway with our families. I would not have guessed that a property so close to Chicago would offer so many amenities, we didn't even need to leave to buy supplies! Mary was thrilled when she learned that River Valley Mushroom Farm was only a mile or so away. She bought five kinds of mushrooms one day and had a feast. The fishing was excellent and the water impeccably clean. We were all sorry we did not have another week. It was the perfect place for the cousins to share a bit of summer.

Large Family
I do not remember when so many of our family agreed on anything, but they certainly did agree that this was the best place for adults, teenagers, and children to spend time together. There was something for everyone including those who wanted to run all day and those who just wanted to read. The one day it rained, we had plenty of indoor space...and each group was able to do without getting in each other's way. Last year we were up North and had plenty of outdoor space, but this was more than adequate, it was spacious indoors as well.
