The chalet has recently been completely renovated; it is inserted inside the Etna Park in a chestnut, oak and pine forest. A 3 km from the town of Nicolosi and 15 km from the Etna cable car, offers peace and tranquility.
The rooms are pleasant with a simple and functional furniture; the two bathrooms make the holiday also comfortable for 5 guests; the heating system with pellet-powered radiators in winter will make the stay warm and pleasant; the wood-burning fireplace in the living room will add a pleasant atmosphere to the holiday. In summer the refreshing freshness of the 1,000 meters of altitude is appreciated.
Not far from the chalet you will find a restaurant with local produce and a equiturismo to ride a horse through the woods.

Well worth it!

The chalet is quite small but adequate for 4 people with 2 double bedrooms and 2 sofa beds in the living area and 2 bathrooms, one ensuite. All amenities were in good working order with a washing machine and Netflix an added bonus. The grounds are lovely and safe for children and were the highlight of the property. Our 18 your old son with severe autism was extremely happy wandering in this slice of forest while the high gate leading to the road can be locked for safety. We highly recommend a stay here for those who like to take it easy while still being close to attractions like Mount Etna, Taormina, the Gole d' Alcantara and other less renowned sites like the House of Butterflies and also just up the hill from the town of Nicolosi where all necessities can be found.

Herzliche Begrüßung durch Diletta und Salvatore, die auch während unseres Aufenthalts immer wieder nachgefragt haben, ob alles paßt. Schön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage mit Blick zum Ätna. Zwei neue schöne und moderne Bäder. Wir hatten sogar das Glück, zwei Ausbrüche zu erleben.

Abbiamo fatto il ceck-in alle 16, come da indicazione dell'host, la quale avrebbe dovuto farci trovare pronta la struttura. Invece, al nostro arrivo, abbiamo trovato il pavimento di tutta la casa appena lavato e bagnato e ovviamente la casa umidissima e freddissima. Con il pavimento bagnato, il freddo del mese di febbraio (a una altitudine di 1000) era insopportabile anche per me che non soffro per nulla il freddo. La host ha pensato bene di lavare il pavimento poche ore (rectius: minuti) prima del nostro arrivo nonostante conoscesse da più di un mese il giorno in cui saremmo arrivate. Morale: siamo morte di freddo per tutta la notte perchè, non aveva neanche acceso i caloriferi sino al nostro arrivo ! Non si è presa neanche la briga di accendere il riscaldamento (c'ha detto che il pellet che deve comprare è molto caro). Non abbiamo trovato nulla per la prima colazione (neanche tovaglioli di carta !) solo delle cialde di caffè e qualche bustina di tè. In tutte le strutture in cui sono stata io ho sempre trovato fette biscottate, marmellate, prodotti da forno, succhi di frutta, latte, etc. Inoltre, le tazze per la prima colazione erano "incrostate" di sporcizia (sicuramente residui di biscotti e quant'altro, rimasti appicciccati all'interno delle tazze stesse). Nei bagni c'erano solo flaconi di bagno-schiuma e shampoo completamente vuoti che noi abbiamo buttato nella spazzatura. I divani di colore bianco erano neri dalla sporcizia. Esperienza pessima da dimenticare

Le chalet est situé dans une forêt, au pied de l'Etna. Idéal pour les adeptes des randonnées. A 5 min de Nicolosi, où se trouve toutes les commodités. Le chalet est bien équipé, la literie est bonne. La propriétaire et sa famille nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et nous ont aidé à résoudre notre problème de voiture. Grazzie mille

Relax nel bosco

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni immersi nella pace del bosco. La posizione è ottima sia per chi vuole salire sulla vetta che per chi desidera semplicemente godere della tranquillità del bosco. Il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevole. La casa è dotata di tutti i confort e di un bellissimo camino che ha aggiunto atmosfera alle nostre serate. Consigliato anche per chi si sposta con i propri amici a quattro zampe.

Luogo ideale per il relax

Abbiamo trascorso 6 giorni in questo chalet, che è delizioso, attrezzato di tutto quello che serve e dotato di un bellissimo giardino esterno. Diletta è una proprietaria gentile e disponibile a fornire tutte le informazioni necessarie. È una soluzione ideale per chi cerca un po' di relax in un luogo fresco, per chi ama fare camminate e per chi va in vacanza con animali. Per motivi diversi, lo chalet si può apprezzare sia d'estate che di inverno. A poca distanza ci sono posti deliziosi da visitare, supermercati e buoni ristoranti. Noi ci siamo trovati molto bene e lo consigliamo assolutamente.

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo trascorso dei giorni fantastici e rilassanti nella tranquillita di questa casa che nonostante si trovi un po piu' distante dal centro del paese di nicolosi non dispiace soprattutto per chi come noi desiderava respirare e vevere l'aria di montagna con la bellezza di un alba che solo il bosco puo darti....Inoltre la casa possiede tutto cio' che serve ed e' molto bene organizzata. splendido il giardino per chi come noi era in compagnia del suo amico a quattro zampe. La signora Diletta e' disponibilissima e gentilissima. Spero di tornare per natale... grazie

100° Giro d'Italia una tappa sull'Etna Cerco un alloggio e trovo questo chalet proprio sul percorso della tappa Che faccio? Prenoto subito Accolta dalla proprietaria, trovo uno chalet ristrutturato e quasi completamente rinnovato rispetto alle foto visionate Vengo graziosamente incaricata a testare le innovazioni ma tutto ha funzionato a meraviglia Godersi il Giro praticamente da casa è stato uno spettacolo senza prezzo La permanenza nel verde del parco dell'Etna è stato un toccasana Silenzio tranquillità e aria "fina", quello che ci vuole per staccare la spina! Ve lo consiglio !!! Io ci tornerò appena mi sarà possibile...magari d'inverno....con la neve... per avere il piacere di accendere il bel camino della casa !!! Grazie Diletta e a presto

Magnifica vacanza all'insegna della tranquillità

Siamo appena tornati a malincuore dallo Chalet Serra Pizzuta e ci manca già quel silenzio e quella tranquillità e soprattutto quel fresco. Si dormiva con il piumone! Chalet nel verde dove le ns due cagnolone sono state, come noi, divinamente e si sono godute il grande giardino recintato! Ideale per tutti: chi cerca pace e tranquillità è a due passi dall'etna (si trova all'interno del parco dell'etna quindi escursioni a partire da casa!) ma al tempo stesso a chi ama la mondanità: vicinissimo alla città di Catania ed alle spiagge limitrofe di Acireale, Aci Castello etc, ad un' ora da Siracusa etc etc. Proprietari gentilissimi e disponibilissimi ma al contempo discreti. Che altro, speriamo di tornarci presto!
