My father first fell in love with Banyuls when he visited as a university student, and then, after many visits, ultimately bought the house in 1996.

A lover of the sea, good food, and fine wines, my father considered Banyuls the perfect holiday destination. Banyuls is a quaint former fishing village (and centuries-old smuggler’s nook), off the beaten path and ideal for those seeking an authentic French and Catalan experience. Easy access to the coast and beaches offer opportunities for a variety of land and water activities, such as hiking and diving. Or simply relax and enjoy the stunning views of the famous Côte Vermeille and savor the acclaimed local food and wines of the region.
