Set between river and forest, this house of character will enable you to enjoy the peaceful and privileged region. Spacious and comfortable, the gîte can accommodate up to 15 people (17 in combination with the adjoining gîte "La Clairière"). It combines modern comforts with respect for the past. The owner has given a voice to the stonework, soft light to the floors and a space that reflects his family history.
Everything has been thought of to ensure you have an unforgettable stay.

Maison et jardin offrent toute la place qu'il faut pour que chacun s'y sente bien! Les enfants peuvent cabrioler dehors, les ballades sont magnifiques et il y a tout ce qu'il faut à proximité pour bien se sustenter - un séjour sans complications. Merci à notre hôte pour l'acueil super sympa!

A fabulous house in a rural setting

This is a wonderful place for a large group to spend a holiday in every respect. On arrival, everything was in perfect order, the house having been tastefully restored while respecting its traditional features. It is extremely spacious, both inside and out, with all modern amenities and very fully equipped. Close by are peaceful and attractive river and forest walks. I can think of nowhere better for a large three-generational family to spend a holiday. Absolutely terrific!

Nous sommes ravis d'avoir vécu de très beaux moments de partage dans cette magnifique maison pleine de lumière. Très agréables aussi les chambres avec balcon pour des instants de rêverie ou de création au contact de la nature. Barbecue dernier cri, jardin extraordinaire, ruisseau, concerts de chants d'oiseaux, feux de bois, 2 réfrigérateurs, un bar...toutes les conditions sont réunies pour un séjour idyllique. Un wk deconnectant dans un cadre magnifique

Envie de vous déconnecter de votre quotidien avec un groupe d'amis ou votre famille? La grange de lesse est l'endroit idéal! J'ai passé un magnifique wk avec une dizaine de copains. Au programme: superbes balade dans les alentours, parties de pétanque, cuisine, découverte de Redu... Bref détente totale. L'endroit est magnifiquement bien aménagé et on trouve tout ce qu'il faut sur place. Qu'un mot: MERCI!

We were visiting La Grange de Lesse in May with our handball team and everyone of the 13 of us was really fascinated by this great enchanting house. Every room has its own charm and the garden / outdoor area is simply fabolous. We really enjoyed our ride, thanks a lot for that! :)

Zeer ruim en aangenaam huis, goed onderhouden, verzorgd. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig. Goed sanitair Terras en tuin zijn zeer aangenaam. De tuin is een paradijs voor de kinderen, veel ruimte om te ravotten en verstoppertje te spelen.

Meivakantievrienden 5.

Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Afgelopen meivakantie zijn we voor de 35 ste keer met een groep fietsvrienden "op meivakantie" geweest. Deze keer naar "La Grange de Lesse", op steenworp afstand van Redu. We hebben een fantastische week gehad. Een perfect huis op een prachtige locatie. Vanaf het huis kan je schitterend wandelen en fietsen wat we dan ook elke dag hebben gedaan. Het is ons zo goed bevallen dat we meteen voor het volgende jaar weer hebben geboekt, iets wat we in die 35 jaar slechts 2 x eerder hebben gedaan. La Grange de Lesse, au revoir! Bertus, Hedwig, Ruurd, Truus, Renze, Carla, Jurjen, Geert, Liesbeth, André, Carolien, Jan, Jettie, Jan Metske en Els.

Endroit où on se sent bien !

L’endroit est idéal pour des retrouvailles familiales,amicales ou professionnelles car l’espace et l’agencement des pièces est tel qu’on peut s’y trouver en grand nombre sans avoir l’impression de se bousculer, même les jours de pluie ! On peut s’installer à différents endroits tous plus cosy les uns que les autres. Les plus jeunes ont trouvé leur place autour du baby foot, de la table de ping pong ou dans la grande pièce commune à l’étage particulièrement agréable. La salle à manger et la cuisine sont parfaitement équipées pour organiser une tablée d’une vingtaine de personnes. Les chambres sont très confortables et les sanitaires sont neufs. L’environnement campagnard invite à la ballade, à la détente et à la bonne humeur. Que rêver de plus ?

Le paradis existe !

Maison de caractère est en effet un terme plus juste que gîte pour cette demeure magnifique. En effet, on y ressent à la fois l'ambiance du passé grâce à une rénovation respectant les matériaux d'origine mais également le présent grâce à un confort de tous les instants. Les multiples espaces intérieurs et extérieurs permettent à chacun de trouver la meilleure occupation qui lui convient. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et nous accueille avec chaleur. Vous avez compris, n'hésitez pas !

gite exceptionnelle!

Nous passons de 1 à 2 weekend par an dans un gite depuis plus de 20 ans. La grange de la Lesse est le meilleur gite que nous ayons loué Tout est neuf et très propre La description correspondait parfaitement et je dirais, était même en deçà de la réalité Le gite est encore plus beau de visu Le mobilier et l’électroménager sont à la pointe de la technologie Le parc est magnifique et vous pouvez partir directement du gite pour de nombreuses balades dans la foret Le propriétaire est très sympathique, il nous a même offert un pack de bière local à notre arrivée. Nous avons eu aussi l'autorisation de manger les légumes du jardin! Possibilité de faire du canoe dans des paysages merveilleux sur les conseils du propriétaire Je recommanderais cette location à un ami sans aucune hésitation Best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Très beau gîte pour un très bon moment en groupe

Le gîte est confortable et aménagé avec très grand goût. Les chambres sont cosy; la grande salle est tout simplement magnifique. Le jardin, entretenu, fleuri et arboré invite vraiment à la détente et aux repas sur la terrasse. Les nuits, le silence est profond, c'est appréciable ! Et les promenades autour sont innombrables. Le contact avec le propriétaire est en outre convivial et positif, très organisé pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. Certainement un endroit où je reviendrai. Je ne peux que le conseiller vivement. Een mooie en nette villa met prachtige grote tuin.

We waren met 10 voor een teambuilding van ons bedrijf. Iedereen was super tevreden over het verblijf en de kamers. We hebben fantastisch kunnen koken en barbecuen. De keuken is zeer goed uitgerust om voor een grote groep te koken. Alle keukengerei was er. De ontvangst door de eigenaar was zeer sympathiek. Hij spreekt ook heel goed Nederlands, wat een voordeel is. We hadden heel mooi weer en hebben fantastisch kunnen genieten van het mooie terras. Als uitstap gingen we de grotten van Han bezoeken. Een klassieker, toch vond iedereen dit de moeite waard. Eerst een rondrit in het dierenpark. Dit is toch echt uitmuntend wat men daar ziet. Niet alleen onze Europese wildsoorten maar ook het prachtige landschap waar ze in rond lopen. Nadien de grotten zelf, een beetje fris maar o zo mooi. Voor onze ploeg was dit een topweekend. Hoeveel we gedronken hebben vertel ik niet.

Fantastique!

J'ai organisé un we pour mon anniversaire à la Grange de Lesse et c'est un endroit ideal! Chaque chambre est parfaitement et joliment équipée avec sa salle de bain privée, les communs: surtout la pièce sous les toîts, sont magnifiques, cosy et confortables.. Chacun peut trouver sa place au calme, les jeunes peuvent avoir leur espace privatif sans risquer de déranger les autres.. La région est très belle pour les ballades et visites! Vraiment à recommander!!!

We are very attached to this family house and the marvellous village of Lesse. We wanted to transform the house into a comfortable abode, retaining its charm and character all the while.
And so La Grange de Lesse began its new life.

What makes this property unique

From its source in Ochamps, all the way to Resteigne, the Lesse traverses the wonderful region of Haute-Lesse. After 13 km in the midst of nature, the lazy river meets the first village which has taken its name: Lesse.

A true paradise for hikers, fishers, or mountain bikers, Haute-Lesse offers exceptional landscapes, sometimes with steep slopes, and others gentler. The forest and wild, real nature are everywhere.

The villages, with their traditional architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries, have maintained the rustic charm of the old Ardenne.

Close to major tourist sites, the region enjoys a bounty of curiosities in its understated, simple, and true surroundings. An old mill, old bridges, historical sites and picturesque hamlets appear along the bends of the Lesse.
