Very nice house close to Porto

Everything was perfect: the house for 2 family (pool, warm jacuzzi, bedrooms, bbq, 2 kitchen, game room), the host, the place (in a tiny village close to Porto). I recommend this place.

Very nice place to stay for a family or more

Located close enough to Porto, and good location for daytrips to the Douro Valley wine region, Guimaraes etc. The house itself is as nice as it looks in the pictures, and we also had good time staying at the house with our kids. The hostess was also very helpful, we had a couple of incidents on our trip and she helped us with them.

The accommodation is very nice, located in a very nice spot and very well cared for. It is a bit challenging to get there by car as the roads are narrow and steep, but it is well worth the effort.Twenty-five minutes by car puts you in the centre of Porto where there is ample parking. The city is very beautiful and needs several days to explore.The hostess is very nice. She does not speak very good English so if you do not speak Portuguese, it is a bit difficult to communicate. The care is otherwise fine.

Amazing place cłosę to Porto!

We spent 2 amazing weeks at this place near Porto. Everything was as described. Fresh bread was delivered every morning, and the train station, just 5 minutes from the house, took us straight to Porto City Centre. The area is quiet and green. Alexandra responded quickly to all our questions and provided detailed guidance on local attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Lovely relaxing family holiday in a great house

This is the best property we ever stayed in. It has everything, lovely secure private gardens, an amazing pool and playroom which my teenage children really enjoyed. The house has all mod-cons and plenty of space. We really enjoyed the beauty of the location and found it an excellent location to explore Porto and the Doura valley, with easy access to the nearby motorway. However, a car is a necessity. I would highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to book again when visiting Porto.

Lovely villa

The villa was lovely, it had everything you could need, with a shop 7 mins walk away. Everything else you would need a car, we got Ubers everywhere which would be around 26-28 euros one way to Porto. We decided to do this rather than drive. The swimming pool was lovely and the beds were comfy. Everything worked, also had a coffee machine which we used daily. we would recommend this place.

Lovely property

The property was very big and clean with everything you could need. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of pans etc. and the beds were comfy. The pool area was amazing and the pool was very clean despite it not being covered, although it was a bit chilly! The gardens were lovely and well maintained, as the whole property was. More sun loungers would have been good for the size of the property. The basement was a great space for snooker, table football etc but the bedroom wasn't ideal as it was small and musty. The roads to the property were narrow and steep but it seems a lot of the roads were like that around the general area. Overall we had a great stay.

Our stay

We enjoyed our stay had a few problems but the house itself is in a nice quiet location. We found that the rooms down stairs did have a bit of a smell, didnt really enjoy the cameras on us all the time and could see them moving every now and again so defo being watched. Drive was really tight which wasnt listed. Alarm was a bit of a nightmare sensors everywhere. Barbecue was very dirty had to clean it before using it. Not enough towels or beds to be honest for 8 which I paid for.

A sua reserva foi efetuada para 6 adultos e 2 crianças. Nesses condições a casa tem perfeitas capacidades. Quanto ao sistema de segurança de câmaras exteriores, além de constar nas características uma delas é rotativa automática. É de muito mau índole insinuar que façamos vigia, não é de todo aceitável esse comentário. A churrasqueira foi limpa e desinfetada. Nos 11 anos que já alugamos você foi o viajante que deixou a casa mais suja. Até unhas comida e gomas havia espalhadas no chão da sala. Devia ser mais cuidadoso na utilização dos bens que não são seus!

The property exceeded our expectations.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing holiday at this accommodation. Absolutely loved it! The house and gardens were amazing and the pool was lovely and larger than we expected. We had the added bonus of being able to contact the lovely and friendly owner if we had any questions. and we had fresh rolls delivered to the house every morning and our bedding changed after the first week. It's located in a beautiful, secluded area and you are never far away from a beach, supermarket or places to visit. The only thing I would say is that it can be a little tricky to get into the gate initially, as the house is situated at the bottom of a steep hill. However, once you get used to it it is fine. We will definitely consider returning to this accommodation again in the future.

Fantastic villa, but not 15min from Porto

We loved our stay here. The villa is spacious and cool with the most amazing sunny pool and well maintained garden. Inside the layout is a little quirky with two kitchens and one bedroom in the basement, but it worked fine for us and our teenage daughters. We didn't use the TV, but enjoyed the games room in the evenings and the hot tub. The cameras are a little invasive, but were not a huge concern for us. The alarm and having to close all the shutters every time you leave is a bit of a pain though! We loved the the fresh rolls delivered daily by Alexandra, a nice touch. The access lanes are VERY narrow, but we had no issue once we realised the best route. We took the train once to Porto (long trip) and drove most days along the A4. To get into Porto / Foz / Gaia etc. is 30-40min depending on the time of day. Parades is a nice town with a good range of shops and restaurants, but not much else going on in the smaller villages nearby.

15minutes from Parades,NO,in the middle of nowhere!!!Electric kept tripping,no hot water for two days,television has very poor reception.The whole place needs updating!We hated every minute of our holiday from hell!Oven in the small kitchen rattles terribly when used,the garage come kitchen oven, burns everything,thermostat needs fixing.Freezing cold no heating in the kitchen! The hot water,when we had it,had to be rationed,two showers,then wait for two hours to get anymore!Two bathrooms,only heating in one.Needs to be rethought before letting out again in winter.Nice enough people,tried to be helpful,but should not have happened.Should really be compensated!!!!!!!

Todas as criticas são bem vinda no sentido de melhorar a boa estadia dos turistas quando munidas da verdade, o que não é de todo neste caso. Assim, respondendo a cada ponto: 1º Localização da casa: Está bem identificada no mapa e a 15 minutos do centro do porto pela auto estrada (basta testar no Google maps) 2º Falha de Luz: falhou na verdade, mas foi geral na cidade de Paredes durante 2 horas e nunca na casa. 3º O lugar todo precisa ser actualizado: A casa está completamente remodelada com todo o equipamento para dar bom conforto (Ar condicionado, Internet, 3 Tvs, sala de cinema, sala de jogos, 2 cozinhas, piscina, jardim, alarme etc..) aceito sugestão! 4º Forno no pequena cozinha chocalhos terrivelmente quando usado: Devem saber utilizar os equipamentos! A grelha interior estava colocada na diagonal! 5º garagem vem forno de cozinha, queima tudo: A cozinha é nova e o forno é novo da marca Teka (mais uma vez, não souberam utilizar os equipamentos!) 6º Congelante frio sem aquecimento na cozinha: estando a referir-se à cozinha exterior à casa, trata-se de uma cozinha para uso essencialmente de verão, nunca seria munida de aquecimento!... 7º A água quente: A casa tem 2 sistemas de aquecimento de agua em serie ( cilindro 180 L e um esquentador) é verdade que falhou o esquentador, tentamos resolver, mas numa altura de Natal e passagem de ano foi impossível (as nossas sinceras desculpas), contudo, o cilindro esteve sempre a funcional limitado à sua capacidade de 180 litros. Permitam-me também expor o desagrado, pelo mau estado que deixaram a casa, limpeza (nomeadamente expectoração nos lençóis. Deixamos um bolo típico de natal como boas vindas e o agradecimento foi deixa-lo no lixo por abrir! Não souberam utilizar o aquecimento: forçaram o ar condicionado no frio e quente em simultâneo!..

L'annonce correspond à la description. A préciser, difficultés d'accès à la maison, chemin très étroit si voiture longue ou bas de caisse rabaissé. Accueil très appréciable par les propriétaires et très réactifs si besoin. Une belle surprise chaque matin au portail : livraison de petits pains, très appréciable. Super séjour dans cette agréable maison. La maison est super et bien adaptée avec des enfants. Les infrastructures sont top. Les propriétaires sont adorables et nous ont beaucoup aidé. Séjour agréable

Séjour familial très agréable. Belle maison au calme, avec un beau verger. Proche de Porto. Tous les matins du pain frais est accroché au portail. Maison pour 6 ou 8 personnes cependant il n’y a que 2 transats et les fauteuils du salon de jardin étaient cassés. Il faudrait peut être orienter différemment l’arrosage automatique la table et les chaises du jardin étaient trempés le matin. Merci pour l’accueil sympathique des propriétaires.

Apesar de não terem cumprido as regras da casa e promoverem uma festa de casamento com inúmeros convidados e até com empresa de catering sem nossa autorização e conhecimento, deixaram a casa limpa. No entanto não aconselhamos o aluguer por este motivo
