The city of Basse-Terre has been classified " City of Art and History" in 1995.
Visit Saint -Pierre Cathedral and St. Paul , the House of Corsairs in the city center, the largest market 5 mins : This colorful market is the ideal stopover for strolling and closer to the Guadeloupe atmosphere. Real condensed flavors and Caribbean colors, you can find everything in the market of Basse-Terre, or almost! Spices, fruits and vegetables , flowers, fish and seafood , local handicrafts ( hats coconut leaves ) , meat, cod , puddings , punches ... It is a feast for the eyes and nose ! Great stay

The apartment is located in a safe and calm neighborhood. It perfectly suited my needs, as I was visiting there on business. It would be ideal to have a rental car, as public transportation in Basse-Terre will provide only limited service. The hosts were very welcoming and met my needs during the stay. I asked for extra documentation for consulting materials in a local library, and they were willing to help me. They have a small but well-equipped kitchen, and you can use a little Jacuzzi whenever you want. It will be an excellent place to stay in Basse-Terre for a long period. I recommend this place!

Die Gastgeberfamilie war sehr nett. Gastgeber spricht fließend Englisch. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig, schöne Wanderwege in der Nähe. Unterkunft sauber und geräuming, aber nicht behindertengerecht. Strände und Bademöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe garnichts.

Pleinement satisfaite de la propreté des lieux, de l'environnement, de l'accueil et de la communication avec les propriétaires. Ce sont des personnes très gentils et chaleureuses. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Fabrice et Sabrina. De très bons conseils pour profiter pleinement de l'île avec vos envies. Une petite mention pour les gros toutous vraiment adorables. Seul, manquait une moustiquaire entourant le lit pour parfaire le séjour. Je recommande vivement cette adresse pour profiter de cette belle île.

Largement à la hauteur de sa notation sur Abritel

Un logement très bien situé à basse terre avec tout ce qu'il faut, même un peu plus (le hamac a été très apprécié par toute la famille). Un couple d'hôte charmant et extrêmement gentil et prévenant comme beaucoup de Guadeloupéens croisés lors de notre voyage. Des conseils de visites adaptés à la clientèle (familiale ou sportive...), des choses à découvrir absolument et même une succulente sauce chien préparée par Madame. Un vrai bonheur ! Je vous recommande vivement et très chaleureusement cette adresse.

Nous avons été très bien reçus par Sabrina, Fabrice et leurs deux gentilles fillettes. L'appartement est agréable, confortable dans un environnement calme et néanmoins près de tout. Le hamac sur la terrasse a été apprécié ! Très bien situé pour visiter la Soufrière, pour randonner et se baigner dans les cascades, pour aller aux Saintes, bains chauds etc... Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour et nous conseillons vivement cet appartement. Merci encore à Sabrina et Fabrice pour leur accueil et leurs conseils.

Nous avons été accueilli par Sabrina de façon très chaleureuse qui nouq a mis de suite à l'aise le logement nous a séduit d'emblée: très bien aménagé, clair et spacieux, totalement indépendant, et rien ne manque la petite terrasse est très agréable pour les repas situation idéale : à 10 mn à pied du centre de Basse Terre et de son marché; très belle promenade le long de l'océan jusqu'à Rivière Sens on a apprécié la gentillesse de Fabrice et Sabrina et de leurs 2 filles Ce fut un séjour certes court mais très actif avec plein de centres d'intérêt Encore bravo Michel et Danielle B
