You can drive or cycle (great cycle path in front of the house ) to different beaches such as Le Gurp, l'Amelie, Soulac and also cycle inland towards the river, la Gironde.
One hour drive from Bordeaux recently given world heritage status by UNESCO. You can drop your car at a tram station and take the tram into Bordeaux as it is much more relaxing and much cheaper than trying to park into Bordeaux's very expensive parkings.

About the host
Hosted by karine Sanchez mcmenemy
I am a native of the area and I have spent all my childhood between Vendays, Montalivet and Bordeaux. I simply love this very well preserved part of the Medoc and the fabulous wild beaches of the Atlantic.
Why they chose this property
I would choose this property because it is calm, slightly off the main axes of the villages but still very easy to access (by foot and bike both). You don't really need a car as everything is accessible form the house. The location of our house is very quiet and the access to the beach just across the road. The house is open plan and relaxing for a holiday.
What makes this property unique
The location.
Quiet and great access to everything in the village.
This house is a little bit an extension of the sand dune and built among the trees. It really has a beach feeling about it. However it is built slightly off the ground, on stilts therefore you don't bring the sand into the house !
