Inserted in the forest, garden and orchard this property is in the center of the village of Furnas. It is a private property with excellent sights, natural gardens, a lake and a cave. At about 5 minutes walk between the street and the house you will find supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and all services that the village of Furnas has to offer. It is also 7km from the beach (about 10 min drive) and 3 km from Lagoa das Furnas. It is advisable to rent a car to move around since you have the facility to park inside the property.
In this vast property, you will have the opportunity to be in a deep touch with nature and isolate yourself!

The Furnas Cottage was a beautiful relaxing place to stay. It had everything we needed.and more. We really enjoyed the lush forest surroundings. It is close enough to walk to all Furnas has to offer.

The best stay in Furnas

We had an amazing stay in Estavao’s house. The house and THE GARDEN are magical. Estavao was very welcoming and had a lot of little attentions. If we ever go back to Furnas, we will definitely stay at Estavao’s again.

Absolutely charming place

I hope this is translating properly so here goes - such a charming cottage nestled in the forest in Furnas. We can't say enough about this experience. The house has so many interesting touches - it has lovely art, fresh flowers, etc. Our host met us and took us to the house and provided us with fresh bread, wine and pineapple. My husband loved the hot outdoor shower. There is a private garden which is actually it's own park you can walk through to get to town. We would definitely pick this house again. Cannot recommend highly enough.

AMAZING FIND!!! PERFECT LOCATION!!

We stayed as a family of four here and it was truly a dream come true! Waking up in the middle of a lush forest, taking a nice outdoor shower amidst the jungle felt like something out of Fern Gully! The location in Furnas was a beautiful short walk through the wonderful property into town where they had everything we needed for our stay! Including like 3 hotsprings within walking distance! We had a great time using the items they provided to host a picnic for ourselves! They even provided us a nice bottle of wine and some local bread! We brought mini projector with us to watch some movies and play some Nintendo switch at the cabin at night time, it was soo much fun! We loved our stay at the Furnas cabin! It was beyond words! Stephan's hospitalily made us feel Soo comfortable!! Cannot recommend enough!!!
