The unit was beautiful and clean, and the sunset views from the balcony were breathtaking! We didn’t have to contact the host because they had already thought of everything we would need! We loved the fact that we were not in the middle of a lot of people, but we were close enough to walk to lots of restaurants by either walking on the beach or down the road! We also enjoyed having 2 recliners to relax in while watching movies in the evenings! We would definitely stay here again!

While this does not directly face the beach and ocean, it is as close as you can get with a great corner view from the balcony that made for amazing pictures. The only thing that families will want to keep in mind is that there is not a lot of space to keep your things. There is one dresser and one closet, and that closet is full of things like beach toys, chairs, ironing board and a vacuum cleaner. There’s one very small cabinet empty in the kitchen. We had 5 in the condo and had to keep clothes in luggage in the hallway and living room. Just heads us, but certainly not a reason to not stay here. Great condo, great host and amazing communication! We would def stay here again with no hesitation!

Thanks so much for the 5 star review! I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to leave to write one! I agree that the view is awesome from this unit, even though it isn't a direct view. It is also so conveniently located with such a short walk to the beach, down the elevator right near the unit. The storage space is minimal, especially with 5 people, which is the max ours sleeps. Normally, we have smaller groups of 2-4 persons so no one has to sleep on the sleeper sofa. I'm not sure if you missed it, but there are two drawers under the bunk beds. Also, there is a lift up storage bench in the master, drawers in the nightstands and an empty linen closet in the master bath that can hold clothes. We try to leave a lot of hangers too, so you can hang up clothes and coat hooks in the bunkroom and bath. Thanks for staying with us and I hope you come back!

Great vacation

We have stayed at the gulf and the bay side at this resort and both have advantages. The views from this unit faced the sunset which was a beautiful perk. The owner was quick to answer questions when needed. We would definitely book this unit again! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Perfect getaway!

This location is amazing and everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants and eateries so a car is not necessary. We will definitely be back.

I am so sorry that our condo was not clean upon your arrival. We have never received a 3 star rating and are upset that you felt you needed to leave one. We use the on site management company so they can take care of any problems fast and it appears they did not do this. This is not acceptable to me and I wish you would have informed me of this problem so I could have taken care of this for you at the time. We take a lot of pride in our condo and will do everything possible to fix any problem our guests might have. I will answer any email, phone call or text asap and make sure any problems are fixed or cleaned to your specifications. If this ever occurs to any guest, please contact me and I will make sure someone comes back to clean. It's been a very busy summer and we will be coming next week to do a deep clean ourselves. Once again I'm very sorry for this problem and I hope you will give us another chance.

Great rental for small families

The space was great. We had a great view of the beach with direct beach access from the property. All of the popular things to do and places to eat were 5 to 10 minute walk. Destin was a also a short drive away with more attractions. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. Would definitely stay again and refer to freinds.

Relaxing stay

This is a great place to stay! It’s exactly as described with beautiful pool and short walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful and the water was very clear when we visited. This unit comes with 2 chairs and umbrella but recommend going down before they open to get in line in order to get a front row seat closest to the ocean. My family very much enjoyed our trip!

This is our second vacation rental at Destin West our other unit is Gulfside 611. We loved our first one so much we purchased another. We love the beach and everything about the entire area. There is so much to do or do nothing at all!

Why they chose this property

The beautiful beach is right outside our door. There are great pools, a lazy river and going barefoot into the bars is awesome! No shoes, no shirt, no problem! We like to go downtown Fort Walton Beach to the little, local movie theater where the service pizza & beer. Also, we like to shop there at the Publix in Fort Walton and other shops. In the summer there is a lot less traffic in Fort Walton Beach.

We upgraded both of our units to feel like your at home. We supply everything needed including DVD's, beach chairs and more. All you need to do is bring your clothes.
