La Bergerie de Vert Galant

150-sq.m gite with a large swimming pool
On the ground floor:
You will find a large living room (living / dining room) with an integrated full fitted kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and electric hobs...).
There is a large bedroom with a large 180 cm bed (or two 90 cm beds) with bathroom and WC suitable for people with mobility impairments.

Upstairs, there are two large bedrooms with a 160 cm double bed (or two 80 cm beds), separate bathrooms and WC (one has a shower, the other has a bathtub).


There is electric heating and a wood burning stove.
It is possible to add a small extra bed in the bedroom.
Bed linen and towels can be provided.

There is a beautiful terrace in the countryside with a barbecue and a large swimming pool.

You will find a hiking path with direct access.
There is an equestrian club, a pony club, tennis courts, and golf courses near the villa.
A supermarket and shops are 5 minutes away from the villa
The Entre-deux-Mers wonderful cycle lane is 3 km away (bicycle storage in the house).
Pets are not allowed.

Prices (linen and cleaning included):
Low season: 600 Euros per week
Mid season: 750 Euros per week - During school holidays - and 900 Euros in June and September.
High season (July - August): 1150 Euros per week.
It is possible to have a cleaning service at the end of the stay.

Summer break

Fabulous property, thank you Phillipe for making us feel so welcome. The property is ideally placed for visiting Bordeaux and the many vineyards in the surrounding area. We had a wonderful week and look forward to returning soon.

Super trip to South West France

The property and location are superb, the area is lovely and quiet but its close to local amenities, 25 minutes to Bordeaux and close to other towns like St Emillion and Libourne. Philippe is a fantastic host and we appreciated his gift of some local wine and croissants!! For us this is one of the best properties we have stayed in and its our list for the future.

Gorgeous Gironde Gite

Wow, what a stunning place! Phillipe and Florence gave us such a warm welcome and some useful local tips. The house was well equipped and the grounds were clean, lovely and peaceful. The kids (and us) loved the huge pool as well as little Lola their friendly dog. The photos really don’t do it justice. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stunning gite set within beautiful grounds. Spotlessly clean, excellent faculties, the children loved the pool. Philippe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this gite.

Wir wohnten im Juni 2022 für eine Woche in "La Bergerie", die in der grünen Oase des parkähnlichen und gepflegten Privatgeländes liegt. Das Haus ist komfortabel eingerichtet und die Schlafräume jeweils mit angrenzendem eigenem Bad großzügig bemessen. Bei dem warmen Sommerwetter haben wir auch den großen und sehr sauberen Pool gerne zur Erfrischung genutzt. Für Ausflüge sind mit dem Auto z.B. Bordeaux oder Saint-Émilion schnell zu erreichen und auch die Dune du Pilat und Arcachon in guter Reichweite. Msr. Phillipe G. haben wir als sehr netten, kompetenten und sympathischen Gastgeber kennengelernt, so dass wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt haben und gerne wiederkommen wollen. Breathtaking

From the moment we drove down the driveway and then seeing the property we knew we had found something very special. The house is beautiful and the setting is breathtaking. The pool is wonderful and together with our family we had the most relaxing perfect holiday experience. The location could not be better for visiting so many magnificent towns and Château. Very nice place to stay

Very nice and quiet location. The house has really everything you need. We especially enjoyed the nice swimming pool and the barbecue. Also kitchen and bathrooms are really nice and of good quality. The location was perfect for us, very calm and relaxing but close to a supermarket and bakery.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Bergerie du Vert Galant. Le cadre est magnifique, la maison très confortable et la piscine grandiose. The perfect relaxing escape

The property is beautiful inside and out and we couldn't have asked for more. The house and pool were immaculate and set in beautiful grounds. Philippe was always on hand should we need anything but he was also very discreet. It was also lovely seeing the horses and our 18 month old daughter loved visiting them. The property is well located for visiting places and we had some very enjoyable day trips to Bordeaux, Saint-Emillion and also Dune du Pilat which was fun to climb. We would highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful property, fantastic pool, Philippe a wonderful host!

Our family enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing week at this beautiful property. It is in a lovely tucked away setting and the pool is a fantastic bonus. The location provides easy access to a good variety of places to visit including St Emilion, Sauternes, Aracachon/sand dune of Pyla and Bordeaux itself. Philippe was a really wonderful host. He was so welcoming, keen to make sure we had everything we needed and seemed genuinely happy to share the beautiful hamlet that is his home with visitors. He has very helpful with information he provided both before and during our stay - all his suggestions were perfect for our needs. I was very pleased to have chosen this property for our week in the Bordeaux region!

Great holiday in a great place!

The house is lovely and had everything we needed. The private pool is great and we spent many a day relaxing, reading and enjoying a swim. Philippe was friendly and on hand for advice on where to go and how to get there. The place is packed with wildlife, deer, birds of prey, bats, horses and Lola! I would advise anyone staying to get a car as it’s a little to far to walk to much. We had a great week and hope to go back in the future!!

Wonderful stay, amazing house

We have just returned from a wonderful week. The house is perfect for families and has all the amenities you could ask for in perfect surroundings. You are in the middle of wonderful views, it’s peaceful and private and yet so well located for enjoying the neighbouring areas, in particular Bordeaux and St Emillion. Von Empfang bis Verabschiedung ausgesprochen nette Vermieter für diese sehr schön hergerichtete Haus. Viele Ausflugziele im Bordelais sind wegen der Nähe zur Ringautobahn (Rocade) mit dem Auto gut erreichbar.

A cause de l'aide des propriétaires vous n'avez aucune difficulté ni de préparer le séjour ni pedant vos vacances à Pey Mouton. La location du style bien située et propre près d'une petite écurie est équipée de tous vous souhaitez une piscine pour vous rafraîchir ci-inclus. Un lieu de réposer et de détendre entre la ville de Bordeaux et les vignes de l'appellation Entre Deux Mers - N'hésitez pas de le mettre à l'épreuve soit en famille, avec des amis ou comme couple! Dank der Hilfe der freundlichen und zugewandten Besitzer gibt es weder Probleme bei der Vorbereitung des Urlaubs noch während des Aufenthaltes in Pey Mouton. Der Ort ist nicht nur sauber, sondern auch gut zu finden und mit allem ausgerüstet, was während eines Ferienaufenthaltes (und darüber hinaus) gebraucht wird - inklusive des Schwimmbeckens gleich neben dem Wohnhaus. Die Lage zwischen Bordeaux und den Weinbergen der Appellation Entre Deux Mers lädt zum Verweilen ein - Zögern Sie nicht, diese Feriendestination auszuprobieren sei es als Familie, mit Freunden oder als Paar!
