Amazing place to stay!! Rustic, beautiful and authentic. The pool is amazing. We used our car hire to go to Amalfi, Ercolano, Versuvius, Naples and Battipaglia town. The combination of the quiet of the villa and the buzz of the towns was perfect for use. Thanks Ida!

We stayed in the appartment on the 2nd floor. It has 3 double bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. It is a little outdated, but everything is clean and works. The owner (senior lady) lives on the 1st floor but is almost not present so you experience it as if you have the grounds to yourself. The garden and pool are in excellent state. Very nice to be around and in.We enjoyed our stay very much.

Authentic Italian Villa in perfect location

This villa was perfect as a home base to the Amalfi Coast and Cilente. Very open and clean. Bathrooms are updated, grounds are beautiful with fruit trees and flowers. Wally was our daily greeter, adding to the charm. Ida was very responsive and helpful with her recommendations. Emilia, her mom was very nice and made a delicious apricot tart for us to enjoy during our stay!

Best month in Italy

Lovely property behind gate, which we were able to open with a remote. Once inside, gardens, paths, shaded terraces, and an immaculate pool create an oasis. The apartment is roomy; 7 of us had privacy and bathroom time without hassle. We cooked several excellent meals with all the cookware and utensils we needed. Ida and her mom, Emilia, were welcoming and warm. Shout-out to Manuel, who brought up groceries and was always there to help.

Beautiful property of some stature with well cared for gardens and impeccably clean. They obviously love the property themselves and is reflected in its cleanliness and presentation. Great swimming pool and facilities around it. Even though it appears a bit isolated the supermarket within a ten minute walk has everything you could wish for. Also there is a coffee shop which was excellent and a lovely restaurant , which although in an obscure location was the provider of the best meals we had on the entire holiday. Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic family holiday

The apartment was absolutely fantastic for our family of 5 (three kids aged 8-12), open spacious rooms with air conditioning throughout, well equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The private pool was really impressive, deep enough for a diving board and to keep the kids entertained for hours! Photos are a genuine representation of the property- it was gorgeous! The location is quite remote and therefore a car is essential, however the train station in the local town (5mins drive) takes you to Pompei, direct to Naples and to Salerno. You also have Paestum within 30 minutes drive which is well worth a visit and beaches a short drive away. We couldn't fault the property and the host was very friendly on arrival. As our first foreign holiday as a family this has certainly set the bar high!

A great Experience

We are 8 people, 4 children and 4 children aged 1-11, 2 children in this family. The welcome on site was particularly warm, and great food was served. The apartment was as described, very clean and tidy, nicely furnished with furniture and lots of Italian reading material. Air conditioning was available, bathrooms were clean. the yard was very large and green. the pool was very well maintained, clean and the children enjoyed it very much. and everyone dives into the trail of Wally's eyes. The pictures correspond exactly to what was found. The de Maio family is friendly and familiar, communication with the host Ida in English is good. Thank you for the great time and the family atmosphere. We would like to see more from you. Thank you Ida and family

A fantastic family holiday

If you want an Italian experience then this is the place. The beautiful period property was perfect for us, comfortable, well air conditioned, extremely spacious and very clean. The lovely family who own the property made us feel most welcome and helped us with information about the area and facilities. Especially listen out for the very talented piano playing.  We spent many relaxing hours around the pool and in the large garden, which was the best part of our week stay. We never got to visit the beach, which isn't far away, and never missed it due to our love of the pool. Car parking is ample and safe, the property has automatic security gates. Shopping was easy with a very handy supermarket in Battipaglia and, just off the round-a-bout there is a restaurant that is friendly with good food and is not expensive at all, the perfect combination for a Yorkshire family. The property is within easy reach of Salerno, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and a must see are the stunning temples at Paestum (especially at sunset). This has been a fantastic family holiday and we have all taken away great memories.

Bauernhaus mit traumhaften Garten und Pool

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Bauernhaus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert hat einen alten Charme. Der Garten und der Pool sind fantastisch. Unsere Kinder hatten die große Freiheit.

Urlaub in Süditalien

Nachdem wir wegen ungenauer Beschreibung (Hausnummer) das Grundstück gefunden haben hat uns ein sehr gepflegter Garten mit Pool empfangen. Die Gastgeber sind ein älteres Ehepaar. Die Wohnung sebst lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Sauberkeit im Bad, Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmer funktioniert leidlich, Geschirrspüler ungepflegt und WLAN so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Die Umgebung ist industriell,laut und dreckig. Es ist aber ein zentraler Punkt für Ausflüge Richtung Neapel und Paestum. Einkaufen funktioniert gut ganz in der Nähe. Auch der Bahnhof ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar mit Parkplatz. Da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren ging der Aufenthalt,um den Tag dort zu verbringen ist es nicht gut.

Très beau jardin et belle piscine

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le jardin est gigantesque. Les propriétaires sont très discrets et Ida parle le français couramment. La maison était très fraîche alors que dehors on cuisait. Nous avons pu profiter de la plage avec notre chien a à peine 15 min de la maison et tous les sites touristiques et beaux endroits sont à environ 1 heure en voiture. Je recommande la région et la maison.

Großzügige Ferienwohnung auf sehr gut gepflegtem Gelände

Wunderbare 2 Wochen

Ruheinsel mit großzügigen Garten und einem großem Pool. In der Wohnung ist alles da was man braucht ! Sehr freundliche und rücksichtsvolle Gastgeber! Trotz sehr später Anreise alles super gelaufen . Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt um in1 -1,5h die Sehenswürdigkeiten Neapel ,Pompeii, Amalfi ,Caserta und Capri zu erreichen.

Absolute aanrader!

Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in deze vakantiewoning, zowel binnen als buiten is er veel ruimte (wij waren met 6 personen). De eigenaar woont op de begane grond en de vakantiewoning is op de eerste etage. Het is duidelijk dat men trots is op deze boerderij, want alles ziet er keurig uit, het wordt duidelijk met liefde en aandacht onderhouden. We werden enorm hartelijk ontvangen met zelfgebakken taart, vleeswaren en broodjes. Gedurende ons verblijf hadden we regelmatig korte contact momentjes met de eigenaar, maar verder ook veel privacy en het zeer schone zwembad was echt voor ons alleen, wat een luxe! Goede locatie om de omgeving te verkennen., er zijn ook veel supermarkten in de buurt, zelfs op loopafstand. Desondanks is een auto eigenlijk wel een must. Al met al, prima verblijf met goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Très belle demeure

Toller Außenbereich und wunderbare Gastgeber

Wir hatten eine super Zeit mit fünf Freundinnen im alten Bauernhaus. Die Gastgeber haben sich die beste Mühe gegeben, wir wurden mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen und Schinken trotz später Ankunft herzlich begrüßt und konnten die Unterkunft für 9 Tage optimal nutzen. Der Garten und der Poolbereich ist super, um die Sonne zu genießen und draußen zu frühstücken. Gracie mille für die nette Gastfreundschaft!

Fantastico soggiorno!

Siamo stati accolti in questa bella casa con grande ospitalità dai proprietari, veramente gentili, discreti e disponibili. La villa è molto spaziosa, con un enorme parco verde ed un bel patio esterno. La piscina è un valore aggiunto, l' abbiamo sfruttata molto!! Posizione che permette di visitare davvero tanto le zone circostanti! La consigliamo assolutamente, splendida vacanza !
