Noelle and the property was outstanding, was a dream place to stay. She thought of everything, from the everyday items needed, the beds and baths and even a welcoming basked with needed item.
Wonderful stay at Noelle's home. It's a beautiful home, very comfortable and all amenities needed. Close to town but quiet setting. Noelle is fantastic, we would love to stay here again!
Our family party of 8 really enjoyed the stay we had at this lovely house. I Would like to thank Noelle for making us feel so welcome and would definitely recommend this property if you are wanting to explore in and around Killarney.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and both times we were sad to leave. We can't say enough about the house, the overall property, but more importantly, the hospitality. Noelle provides her guest world class hospitality and attention. We will make it a point to stay regularly.
One if the best stays we have experienced. Noelle’s house is beautiful, she has thought of everything you may want or need for a group stay, her house was pristine- it was as if we were the first family to stay there it was so clean. Truly a delightful home to relax, enjoy the gorgeous landscape and lovely dairy cows we referred to as ‘the ladies’.
Absolutely stunning property that held our group of 6 very comfortably. The host is the kindest and most responsive host we’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
Noelle was an excellent host. The home is perfectly appointed with all bedrooms nicely appointed. We were given a beautiful gift welcome basket. The home was confidently located close to town but also very private with open land and pastures. I would highly recommend this home. It fit our family of 8 more than comfortably
The Knockcarrig house was absolutely amazing. We had a group of six adults and the space could not have been more perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious rooms. Noelle was the MOST wonderful hostess. She met us at the house upon arrival to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable with everything. She is the most hospitable person, truly a gem. The house was so organized and well-appointed with all of the things. She provided a lovely welcome basket and also provided many essentials to make our time easy. This is 100% the best VRBO experience that any of us have ever had. Wish we could have stayed longer because everything about this house was delightful.
The kitchen was amazing and very large - as was the entire house! The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable! Towels were thick and very nice. Noelle was a gracious host and had a welcome basket of food and wine when we arrived. This is one of the best places we have stayed at in all our travels! Beautiful grounds just outside of the city (5 minute drive to town). If you are in Killarney, you have to stay here!
Noelle's home was absolutely gorgeous--wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights! From the smooth check-in process to the personal touches (including local food from their farm, among other treats), our stay here felt cozy and luxurious at the same time. It's only about 5 minutes down the road from the busy Killarney center, but you feel totally secluded on the property, and it was the perfect place to rest and recharge after days exploring Killarney National Park, the Ring of Kerry, and so much more. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay at this property! Noelle and her family were amazing hosts! The house had everything you needed and more! So many thoughtful touches..We were welcomed with a beautiful basket filled with local treats, bread, coffee, tea as well as fresh milk and butter. It made our first night so easy as we did not need to run out for essentials. The location was ideal for exploring the town center of Killarney as well as all the beautiful area sights. I would without a doubt stay at Noelle’s property again. Great experience!
We are a family of 8 with an 5 year old granddaughter. Our stay could not have been better. Our host Noelle was extremely helpful and the house had everything we needed. We mixed dining in and dining out. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything we needed. Close to town to make hitting the pubs at night and exploring in the day very easy. I hope to be back in Killarney again and when we do we will stay here again. The cows in the backyard were an extra treat for all of us but especially my granddaughter.
Noelle is a great communicator and was so easy to work with. She is extremely organized and had a sheet for us with all important information. She also left us a thoughtful welcome basket. Do not hesitate booking this house. Everything was wonderful.....including her three cows we got to watch on the yard! So cute!!!
Everything about our time at Noelle’s home was 10/10. We had a wonderful time! Laundry was great to have with the baby, kitchen had everything we needed and the bed/bath set up was perfect for our large family. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Kilarney vacation spot!
Noelle is an awesome host. Her property is spacious, beautiful, and well maintained. It was a really nice retreat from our travels but not too far away. Highly recommend!
House is a real gem!!!! We had an absolutely fantastic time! The property was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly situated to Killarney town. Noelle was fantastic, proactive and friendly, making check-in seamless. Plenty of space for everyone to relax, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals together. Another bonus is every room had bathroom with its own toilet and shower. Fantastic when you’re such a big group!! House far exceeded our expectations! We cannot wait to return!
Noelle was a fantastic host, with great communication, availability, and input. This property is stunning, with lots of room, beautiful scenery, and very easy access to town. One of the best places my family has ever stayed.
This house was wonderful and so was Noelle! Highly recommend. We were a three generation family visiting Killarney. Super clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip.

Why they chose this property
Welcome to Knockcarrig House, Killarney, Ireland!
Here we offer a little bit of Irish country living in Killarney to holidaymakers. We built Knockcarrig on the edge of our private 20 acre cattle farm which is less than a 10 minute drive to the town centre of Killarney. 'Knockcarrig' comes from the Irish language which means hill of the stones. As farmers who feel an incredible link to the land, it was only fitting to call our house after the farm land on which it is found.
If you were to literally start digging in the fields, you would find plenty of stones in the earth! Traditionally these stones were then used to build walls to divide the fields of the farm. And as for the hill part- well if you were to walk from one end of the farm to the other, you would find yourself climbing a little hill which gives you a panoramic view of the magnificent McGillicuddy Reek mountains!
