About this property

Magnificent villa with private swimming pool and breathtaking sea/mountain view

At equal distance from Valencia and Alicante, the villa on 110m2 with all mod cons and 7a garden is situated in Orba in the residential area of ​​La Plana Alta. The house is built on 2 levels, only the main level is rented out. The lower apartment is not occupied during rentals. From the Naya (covered terrace) or the edge of the private swimming pool (4x8m), you have an outstanding view over the valley of Orba (with lemon, orange, almond, olive trees) and the Mediterranean sea in the background. Our house has 2 bedrooms with new A/C, 1 with double bed (with an extra bed for a 5th person), the other with 2 single beds. Living room, dining room, bathroom with shower / toilet and washing machine. The fully equipped kitchen gives you direct access to the pool and terrace. A gas plancha is at disposal on the the lower terrace. Petanque track of 1,5x9m with a stone table and benches next.
During summer holidays, min 7 days. Short stays possible off season (min 5 nights), arrival/departure any day.
Taxes, charges and cleaning included.
From October till April, 1 week free for a stay of 4 weeks (3+1)

Casa Lara has everything you need for a quiet holiday, but close enough to restaurants and shops for a night out or essentials, although a car is needed, this was our 2nd year here and looking forward to our 3rd year already booked

Great location, fabulous views, friendly welcome, nice villa

The villa is in a beautiful location just outside Orba with fantastic views down the valley. You can easily get to the sea and the mountains and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the villages of the Orba and Jalon valleys.

An ideal location for us

Felt very at home. Great views, owner really helpful with our specific requirements. Plenty of space inside and outside for the 2 of us. Pool looked nice but too cold for us in Feb/March! Kitchen small but we managed. Interesting dishwasher! A great area.

Beautiful Villa

First of all the pictures don't do it justice. It is even better in real life than the photographs. Everything about the villa was great, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Pool area was brilliant. Slight issue with hot water was dealt with immediately. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to return. We miss it already. S&J

Marvelous place also in winter

We spent two weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve at Casa Lara and enjoyed it very much. The sun is still warm enough to have breakfast on the terrace (wonderful view) and to relax around the pool (would not really recommend IN the pool at this time of year, though ;-). Freshly picked and pressed oranges from the garden ... The villa had everything we needed (and more). Cosy fireplace (and well-working heating) keeps you warm in the evenings. We very very happy here

Lovely and peaceful

The villa was lovely, so peaceful there. We enjoyed using the pool but it needs a rail to hold onto getting in and out as it was quite a deep 1st step. The neighbours were friendly and the owners were really helpful when we had a problem. Very efficient to help us resolve the issue. If you want to relax this is the place to be. Just a shame you can't walk to the town. We had a great time. Thank you x

Great villa with amazing views

We had a great week away at casa Lara, the villa was very clean and we had everything we needed. The best part is the view which is stunning looking over Orba valley and towards Denia. The host was very good and updated me at every stage before we travelled and they also arranged a high chair for us which was delivered the next day and was brand new! Claudia who manages the property locally was very helpful and friendly and came to deliver the high chair and also cleaned the pool. If you are thinking of staying here you will need a car as it is quite a distance from Orba and no path to walk. Overall I would highly recommend casa Lara.

A tranquil oasis with magnificent views

Cass Lara has one of the most magnificent views that you are likely to find on the Costa Blanca. The villa has a range of different seating areas on multiple levels allowing you to move between sun and shade - but without ever losing the view. The area is very quiet and peaceful (great if you want kick back and relax in the sun with a good book). The check-in / check-out process is very smooth via Mrs Claudia (who was very happy to help with information and tips for the area) Orba is a charming village with numerous amenities - including a well stocked supermarket. There are also many fine local bars and restaurants. Venturing a little further, the town of Denia is only 35 minutes away (by car) with a fantastic historical area and some fantastic restaurants. We can't wait to come back!

After spending many years going to the same rental villa, we thought it would be very hard to find another one that lived up to it, we were wrong this villa is well placed for for restaurants, supplies and attractions, you do need a car. You will never get tired of the view we spent every evening out on the balcony, The villa itself is clean and well equipped, bed is comfortable, there is aircon in both bedrooms, we were concerned there was none in the lounge but the mountain breezes keeps that cool throughout the day so isn’t needed. The pool area is sun soaked all day but the balcony gives relief to that being in the shade most of the afternoon so you can still be outside enjoying the view x we are used to being in the middle of nowhere and no neighbours because we enjoy the peace and quiet and although this villa is on a very small estate with neighbours close by we were not disturbed and it was very quiet the odd wave if you do manage to see your neighbours lol x all in all an excellent stay so good we booked for next year before we left x well done to franz and Lisa for allowing to share a little bit of paradise

6 week stay

Wow Wow Wow for the views stunning looking down through the valley towards the sea in the distance. Pool lovely and cleaned weekly. Naya brilliant where we ate breakfast everyday. I feel there needs to be additional parasols around pool and barbeque area. Internally the villa needs a little bit of TLC. More attention needs to be taken regarding cleaning oven pans were not cleaned. Shower trap has nit been cleaned aling with the bathroom sink being clogged up. In addition more cooking implements i.e. casserole dishes measuring jug mixing bowls etc. There are also no cupboards to store your food other than fridge freezer. Sheets in 2nd bedroom are very thin and it would be nice to have cotton bedding especially when the weather is hot. There was an issue with hot water lack of; it took a couple of days to sort but communication with owner and landlady was very good and they worked hard to get the issue resolved as quickly as practically possible, ( it was a frustrating time). Would we come back? "Yes in a heart beat if the improvements were made" its a lovely villa, great neighbours and a very helpful genuine owner. Claudia the prooerty manager was on hand to sort out the issues as required. the weather is hotcooking

Thank you for your positive review. Concerning parasol around the pool, guests are used to put 1/2 poolchair at th edge of the naya where you can also sit/eat in shadow during the day. We will ask to the person cleaning extra attention in the kitchen. Usually the wall shelf is sufficient.. We will provide extra cooking impl. Quiet and tranquil location

The villa has a stunning vista. We loved sitting at any time of the day looking over the valley. The pool is lovely and clean and is just wonderful when you are staying in the height of summer as we were! The villa is set on a large plot with lots of areas with sun and shade. The kitchen had everything we needed. Fridge could be a bit colder but then again it was so hot when we visited. Would definitely recommend long life milk rather than fresh milk to ensure will last longer and use anything quickly if tends to go off quickly. We loved the amount of games books etc that were available to use. We most especially loved the pequante set and loved playing it in the evening at back of villa at the area set up for it. There was some cat poo but was old so we just kicked it aside. After all it does look like a large cat litter for them to use! The kids also loved the water tennis set which was such fun. We also all loved the noodles provided for using in the pool. The air con in the bedrooms was well needed and meant we could all get a good sleep. The mattresses were very comfortable. The curtains are very thin. I took an eye mask which did help for the mornings I wanted to sleep in as the main bedroom faces east so it does get bright very early with the morning sun. The kids rooms is round the side facing south so doesn’t get so bright which was great. We tended to eat in as you do need to drive to get anywhere but can recommend pizzeria piscina. Fab villa!! Highly recommend!!

De ligging van Casa Lara is uitstekend, een prachtig uitzicht op de kust van Denia, vlakbij een goed gesorteerde supermarkt. Bij zonnig weer, zelfs in december/januari, kun je 's morgens op het terras een kop koffie drinken. Tot ongeveer half vier kun je, naast het zwembad, heerlijk in luwte in de zon zitten. Het huis staat in een gebied met heel veel fantastische wandelingen, dus als je van wandelen houdt, dan kun je hier je hart ophalen. De bedden sliepen uitstekend, misschien te weinig beddengoed voor wanneer je een langere periode verblijft. De communicatie met de eigenaar, de heer Franz Cools, was uitstekend. Een punt van aandacht: sluit het gas niet af als de gasten arriveren; zij weten niet waar de gaskraan zich bevindt. Toen wij op vrijdagmiddag het huis in kwamen, konden we niet koken. Op een telefoontje naar mevrouw Claudia werd niet gereageerd en ook op een tekstbericht niet. Pas de volgende dag kregen we een reactie. Natuurlijk, het is vrijdagavond, ook voor mevrouw Claudia. Kennelijk waren de keuken en de badkamer pas vernieuwd; zo nieuw dat de eigenaar dit zelf nog niet had gezien; de wc-bril bijvoorbeeld paste niet op de wc-pot. De douche was prima. De WiFi werkt prima, een keer per dag resetten. De dvd-speler was een leuke bijkomstigheid. Fijne en ruime parkeerplaats voor de auto, onder afdak. Wij denken dat het in het voorjaar fantastisch is om hier te verblijven.

Schöne FeWo mit Panoramablick in toller Landschaft

Die Wohnung samt Außenanlagen und Pool ist wirklich toll, aber nicht ganz perfekt. Aber über die kleinen Schwächen (z.B. Internet setzt manchmal aus, Wasser läuft länger bevor es warm wird, Lichtschalter wo und für was?) sieht man bei dem wunderbaren Ambiente gerne hinweg. Der Besitzer ist sehr kommunikativ und immer hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Leuke villa, prachtig uitzicht

Wij hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in de villa. Het uitzicht is prachtig en de buurt rustig. Je kunt vanuit het huis mooi fietsen en wandelen met onderweg goede eetgelegenheden. Claudia, het locale contactpersoon, stond altijd klaar indien nodig, ook prettig dat ze dichtbij woont. Communicatie met Franz en Lisa was uitstekend. Kortom, een villa om aan te bevelen.

Endroit magnifique

Superbe maison, une vue plongeante sur toute la vallée. Nous avons été dépaysé par l'environnement, avec un sentier pédestre pour adulte qui offre une vue sur la ville de Fontilles et ses alentours. La piscine est belle entourée de son jardin paysagé et ensoleillée toute la journée. Le top sont les commerces alimentaires à 2 minutes en voiture. Nous conseillons cette maison.
