Great holiday

We’ve had a great holiday at La Tzoumaz. We made reservations at a very short notice but all was taken good care of by the owner. The house is cozy and very complete. We’ve enjoyed the small terrace and sun screen a lot. The surrounding is really stunning. David arranged VIP passes for us, so we could use all nearby ski lifts up to Mont Fort. To see the magnificent views on Mont Blanc and Matterhorn.

Very happy with our choice

Family of 5 (all over 20 yrs age) from the USA spent the week here to ski and this was a perfect chalet for us. Three bedrooms and 2 full baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer and all recently re-done and in like-new condition. Clean. Tremendous views. (Note - the four beds on top floor are not full size - more for children. Ground floor is not part of the rental....owner only). David was communicative the whole way, answered our questions and met us the day we arrived to review everything. He takes pride in his chalet, which is an easy 8-10 minute walk to the village/ski lifts. Street parking only, but we had no problems finding parking spots. Overall, a comfortable family oriented chalet that we would recommend to anyone. We would rent again should we ever return.

I would just had that the bed up stairs are regular adult size to european standards (200x90cm), regarding the ground floor (more like a basement) it's correct that it is not included in the rental. The skis room that is on that level, is available to all our Guest.

Fantastisches Chalet

Wir hatten eine Traumwoche in einem tollen Chalet! Ideal geeignet für uns mit 2 Kindern. Die Kinder haben einen eigenen Bereich im 1 OG. Spielzeug und Spiele sind vor Ort. Das Chalet ist wunderschön, gut ausgestattet und zentral gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer hat bestens geklappt. Wir waren begeistert!

Excellent séjour

Chalet très confortable, très bien rénové. Idéal pour les familles (nous étions 4 adultes et 4 enfants), avec un grand espace de couchage et jeux pour les enfants à l’étage. Très bien situé avec l’arrêt de lanavette juste devant, puis à 5mn des télécabines.Très bon accueil de David, merci! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Schöne Familienferien mit Grosseltern, Eltern und Enkelkinder

Die Wohnung ist für eine Familie mit Grosseltern, Eltern und Enkelkinder top eingerichtet. Wir wurden auch mit einer feinen Flasche Waliser Wein und Praline überrascht. David (Hausbesitzer) hat uns von Anfang an laufend mit Informationen, wie z.B. Tunneleinsturz, versorgt. Am Schluss ist er extra von Genf angereist, um uns persönlich zu verabschieden, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Skigebiet 4 Valley bietet für Anfänger, Genuss und sportliche Fahrer alles. Das Busfahrer, Skilehrer, Bahnangestellte und das Hüttenpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Fazit: Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder nach La Tzoumaz.

Das Haus wurde innen modernisiert und ist schnuckelig. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super und er ist wirklich richtig nett. Die Kommunikation verlief auf Englisch. Das Haus liegt in einem Skigebiet. Es gibt kaum Durchgangsverkehr. Es ist also sehr ruhig. In der Küche ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Sie ist super ausgestattet.

Séjour agréable dans chalet confortable à proximité des commerces et accès pistes.

Le chalet est confortable, bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied des commerces, restaurants, avec une jolie vue sur la vallée. L’accès aux remontées mécaniques se fait à pied pour les plus sportifs (compter 10-15 minutes) ou via une navette qui s’arrête juste en face du chalet. Le chalet est composé d’un séjour agréable avec cuisine ouverte assez bien équipée. 2 chambres doubles au rez de chaussée (une de petite taille) et une salle de bains. A l’étage un grand espace (très mansardé - il ne faut pas être trop grand) avec une salle d’eau. A noter que le chalet est très bien isolé et donc facile à chauffer.

Bon séjour à La Tzoumaz

Nous avons passé un bon séjour dans le chalet la fugue. Le chalet a bien été rénové et est agréable. Nous avons passé la majorité du temps à l'extérieur. L'étage est fort en mansard mais convient bien pour les enfants (bcp de jeux sur place)

Sehr schönes sauberes Chalet

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au chalet la Fugue. Accueil des propriétaires très chaleureux avec un petit panier de bienvenue. Le chalet était vraiment conforme à nos attentes. Spacieux, propre et très fonctionnel. Je recommande vraiment ce bel endroit.

Why they chose this property

This charming swiss chalet was totally refurbish in 2013.

Keeping the outside look as it was we have worked hard on the inside giving it this modern layout with a nice wooden feeling.

The open kitchen fully equipped( oven, dishwasher, induction cooker, kettle & toaster ) will meet all the requirement you would expect in modern chalet . The living room will give you great view on the mountains and is the just the right place to take the "apéritif" after a day of skiing. The 2 rooms on the main floor are nice cosy and will suit any parents needs, on the same floor will also find the bathroom as well as the toilets. The upstairs room is large with 4 single bed ( bed can be added upon request) and as a play area that kids will love, on this floor you will also find a shower and a toilet.

The chalet is located in the center of the resort, you are in a walking distance of ski slops, bar, restaurants and shops. There is also a free bus running in winter every 20min, the stop is just 30m from the chalet. The access is easy as the chalet is located just on the "la rue centrale" a limited speed area ( 30Km/h).

La Tzoumaz is a family resort located heart of the 4 valley ( Verbier ) skiing area in on of the biggest skiing region in Switzerland. There are also a great sledge piste of 10km, the longest in the Valais region. You will also find a public swimming pool, a small ice ring. For more information on the resort please visit the tourist office located beside the ski lift.
