Owner does not like to follow VRBO rules

We had a miss communication with the owner. Apparently, he expected us to clean his apartment rather than have a service do it. We piled towels and sheets, and started a load of dishes in the dishwasher, and left the apartment like we always do, and got nothing but good ratings from property owners. This owner just does not want to follow the VRBO rules. He constantly wanted to communicate outside of the application, and sent keys to us using normal mail, and then express when they did not show up. There was nothing on the website that specified that we would clean the apartment like a cleaning service would.

Il y a eu effectivement une "miscommunication". Il est bien indiqué dans le contrat de location et dans l'annonce que le locataire s'engage à laisser l'appartement en état propre à son départ. M. M. a laissé l'appartement dans un état qui a choqué le locataire suivant. Il a accepté, à ma demande, de régler les frais de ménage. L'incident est clos et la note de 2/10 ne reflète en rien les qualités de l'appartement.

Skiurlaub über Silvester

Wir waren mit unserer Familie über Silvester zum Skifahren in Les Arcs. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter über Fewo Direkt war unkompliziert und es wurden zügig alle Fragen beantwortet. Die Wohnung selbst war gemütlich eingerichtet und für uns während des Urlaubs genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a lovely time in this apartment. Spacious, well located and fully equiped. At one side of the apartment there was a square with some shops, ski-rental, restaurants, grocery-shop and at the other side you could directly take the ski-lift, the location was super! The owner, Jean-Yves communicates very good.
