This lovely 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apartment, is located on the 1st floor of a triplex, right above the garages. There are 2 parking places (one in the garage and one in the driveway right in front of it,) making parking at the beach very easy.

This comfortable 2 bedroom/2 bath beach house could sleep up to 7 people sharing beds.

Living room pullout sofa bed.
There also is wifi.

The bathrooms both have shower/tub combos.

There is a Smart TV in the living room, cable internet with WiFi and a fully equipped California style open kitchen for cooking and dining at home...with a partial ocean view!

The living room is spacious with dining area for 6, Smart TV and a breakfast bar with stools overlooking the open kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator , dishwasher, pots & pans and plenty of utensils for meals.

The patio with partial ocean view is spacious and comfortable. A propane BBQ is available with outdoor table and chairs for el fresco dining.

Also provided in the garage is the free, shared laundry facilities – shared with Surfrider 2 and the Penthouse Studio above.

You will find a host of beach equipment including beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and beach toys.
Windansea Beach has some great restaurants, bakeries and unique eateries just minutes walk from your front door.

Pac n Play available on request.

Enjoy the Farmers Market every Sunday morning with lots of fresh, organic foods and hosts of crafts.

The Village of La Jolla is within walking distance and offers many world class restaurants, boutiques, art galleries and more.

The La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art and the La Jolla Recreation Center with basket ball courts, playgrounds and field is also available for your enjoyment.

The public, Olympic sized swimming pool – the Coggan pool -is also a short walk or bike ride away. At the High School tennis courts are available for use.

Windansea Beach is not your only choice. There is the Cove beach with lots of snorkeling amongst the seals, Childrens Beach which is now home to the Seals and Sea Lyons, Marine St Beach around the corner and La Jolla Shores just a 5 minute drive away.

UCSD and the La Jolla Playhouse is a 10 minute drive and if you are a golfer – we welcome you to Torrey Pines Golf Club with sweeping views of the Pacific.
Jump on the freeway and you have a short drive to Seaworld, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Petco Park – home of the Padres, the Gaslamp District, Seaport Village, The Safari Park, Legoland beautiful Balboa Park and the Embarcadero with its floating museums just to name a few of San Diegos attractions.

Lovely location, could hear the waves crashing ashore from the unit. Comfortable, lots of places within walking distance. Well equipped kitchen although we ate out. Did not encounter any issues so no need to contact property manager. Would stay here agsin.

The perfect beach get away

Everything about our stay was enjoyable! The condo was in a great location, had a stunning ocean view, and was quiet and safe. The owners were very response and we had pleasant and respectful neighbors. We also were pleased with the accessible parking garage and washer and dryer access. Can’t wait to plan my next stay.

The apartment is situated just a short block from the Pacific but is in a very quiet street. The centre of La Jolla is a short drive away and there are also restaurants and shops within walking distance. The apartment is well furnished and the owners were very helpful in meeting our requests.

Perfect location!

This condo was perfect for our family for 4. You could hear the waves from the balcony and it was one short block down to the water. Several restaurants close by and gorgeous beaches all around. The condo had everything we needed and was clean. We also appreciated having the garage spot and a washing machine!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location just a block from the beach was perfect. The apartment was roomy and well equipped. Beds super comfortable. Even with rainy, cool weather, we were able to use the front balcony by curling up in one of the chairs with a cozy throw blanket provided. The only less than perfect characteristic is that you can hear folks above walking around, closing/opening doors. Since this usually occurs during the day when everyone is awake, it mostly didn’t matter much except when the renters above us left at 5 am in the morning and were going in and out of the property as part of their departure. Otherwise, not a single complaint!

Great Location

This condo is in a great location, one block from the beach. Plenty of beach gear provided. Perfect size for 5-6 people and a very nice patio. Very small beach view but we could see the ocean. Space heaters as well as a heating/cooling unit on the living room wall. One problem was that the Kpod brewer left a bad taste in the coffee and the unit was not very clean. Lots of dust was collected on the walls and heating units like it needed a deep clean. Bathrooms and Kitchen were clean and in good working order. The other problem was the master bedroom mattress. It was well worn and not very comfortable. The host was friendly and responsive. Overall, we would recommend to those wanting a safe beach house in a great location.

Excellent Weekend Coastal Getaway

My adult daughter and I were looking for a spot close to the shore for a long weekend. This location worked out perfectly. Everything was as expected with no surprises. We enjoyed listening to the waves hit the shore from the balcony and the convenience of a short walk to access coffee and other food. We would definitely rent this location again.

Great little condo in an idyllic location

We had a great 6-night stay in this condo that was a perfect fit for me and my family of 4. It was great to be able to see the ocean from our balcony and hear the waves crashing when we had the balcony doors open. Several restaurants are within walking distance, and with the beach right across the street the location is hard to beat. Janine was a superb host and extremely responsive. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy (there’s a door code you get). We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay in La Jolla

My husband and two older teens had a wonderful time during our stay. Communication was easy and fast via text with property ownership and check in and out was equally so. The unit is beautiful and just a minute's walk from the beachfront and Windansea Beach. The separate room with two queens was great for extra space. Kitchen was well equipped (may be time for a new frying pan in the near future) and we REALLY appreciated having supplies like dish soap, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and cooking oil in the unit. Beach towels and beach equipment were amazing, and it was so nice not to have to bring those things in our suitcases! Having stayed in La Jolla before, I know how parking is a premium. Having the garage space is extraordinary! The washer/dryer was also a great amenity to have on hand to keep things clean through our stay. When we stayed, the surf was pretty aggressive, which made swimming a no-go a few days, but we did get to wade in a bit and enjoy the water. Watching the surfers was amazing and the tide pooling about a 20 minute walk North was great. Private beachfront property and steep slopes made walking along the beach to Marine St. Beach, The Children's Pool or La Jolla Cove impossible. You have to cut through the neighborhoods if you want to walk to those. Made for a fun adventure one day! We enjoyed snorkeling at The Shores and Cove, and hiking the Saigon Trail using the car on another day. All in all an amazing time and we'd love to come back again! Thank you for a wonderful, good vibes time in La Jolla :)

Joy at La Jolla
