Normandy revisited

Normandy was the destination of our first French holiday 40 years ago and although we have travelled through Normandy several times over the years this was only our second time for a long stay. It was lovely to revisit some favourite places and discover some new ones. Varaville/Cabourg was perfect for us location wise and the apartment was great. The views are stunning and we loved watching the shipping, the horses being exercised on the beach, the sunsets and the people collecting crustaceans from the balcony. The apartment is tastefully decorated and well provisioned. I especially enjoyed trying out my French with the impressive range of books on the shelves. We found some very good local shops and can recommend Pizzabella, just a few minutes walk away and the fruit shop that also sold cheese and local products. Our contact with Mickael on arrival and departure was easy. I would particularly recommend a visit to the British Normandy Memorial at Vers Sur Mer. The installation of the 1500 silhouettes of servicemen was very moving.

Lage der Wohnung ist top! Insbesondere die 3 Balkone garantieren rund um die Uhr Sonne (2 davon mit Meerblick)Wohnung war für uns 3 Personen optimal.Hinweise: Doppelbett ist nur 140 cm breit, Wohnung hat keinen Internetanschluss/WLAN, Toilette war im renovierungsbedürftigem Zustand (wurde uns aber ca. 1 Woche vorher per Mail mitgeteilt) und es keine Endreinigung enthalten.

Schönes Appartement in toller Lage

Die Wohnung liegt wirklich wunderbar, direkt am Strand. Durch die vielen Fenster und Balkone verwöhnt sie durchgehend mit Blick aufs Meer und die Gezeiten. Toll für unsere Kinder war auch der beheizte Pool, in dem sie sich auch bei durchwachsenem Wetter gut amüsiert haben.

schöne Ferien

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung. Super ausgestattet, großartige Lage, sehr entspannter Urlaub. Allerdings: Man sollte ein (Miet-)Auto haben. Wir sind mit dem Zug angereist, aber der öffentliche Nahverkehr ist nicht so toll; ein sehr guter Bäcker sowie ein Käse- und Obsthandel sowie Pizza to go sind fußläufig erreichbar, Supermarkt ist zu Fuß schon echt weit. Wir haben einen Mietwagen genommen.

Beste Lage, gerne wieder in die Normandie

Nachdem wir sehr zuvorkommend und freundlichst begrüßt wurden, haben wir die Wohnungsschlüssel erhalten. Die Wohnung hat die beste Lage, direkt am Strand. Die französischen Nachbarn und überhaupt alle Einwohner mit denen wir uns unterhalten haben, waren sehr höflich und sehr freundlich. Das ist wahre Gastfreundschaft! Einziger Mango war leider die Toilette, da müsste dringen renoviert werden. Ansonsten jederzeit gerne wieder einen Aufenthalt hier in der Normandie. Auto war mit reservierten Parkplatz vorm Haus mit Schranke gut untergestellt.

Idéalement placé face à la plage

Appartement conforme à l’annonce. Un régal de voir la mer par la fenêtre. Cette partie de la plage est plus sauvage que côté Cabourg, c’est très agréable. Juste dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de forfait ménage de proposé, il faut le faire soi-même.

Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Strand, mit einem großen Balkon und Glasfront Richtung Meer! Insgesamt hat die Wohnung 3 Balkone, ist modern eingerichtet und mit diversen elektronischen Geräten ausgestattet, wie Kaffeemaschine, Kapselmaschine Toaster, Wasserkocher, Staubsauger und und und. Ein super gepflegter Pool gehört auch dazu. Von hier konnten wir die Normandie erkunden. Ein toller Urlaub war es! Balkone

Appartement superbe, confortable et où rien ne manque, avec une vue imprenable face à la plage et à la mer dans un endroit calme à l'abri des foules sans être isolé . Emplacement calme et parfait. L’appartement est grand, spacieux avec surtout, une vue imprenable.. Celui-ci est également très bien équipé. NB : l’accueil se fait par Mickael, celui-ci est très sympathique et, c’est une personne de confiance.
