Villa Sunrise by the Sea

The Villa Sunrise is located right in front of Memi Beach, a peaceful area with stunning azure waters—not completely isolated but still offering tranquility.

This Blue Flag beach is home to large, luxury hotels, a few well-managed restaurants and tavernas, and a shopping center where you can find everything you need, including mini markets, bakeries, patisseries, and cash machines. It is the most contemporary and stylish tourist resort on Rhodes.

Kiotari has developed significantly over the last ten years along an impressive, vast beach. However, unlike many other traditional resorts in Rhodes, it has not been overwhelmed by excessive tourism. Kiotari is an up-and-coming area, but don’t let that deter you. An excellent bus service connects you to Pefkos and the charming Lindos.

We have visited Rhodes year after year—usually staying in Pefkos or Lindos—but this time, we decided to try Kiotari, and it did not disappoint. The hotel was superb, with excellent facilities, and the beach was fantastic. There are also some nice little shops and cafés across the road. It was a lovely, peaceful week, and we can’t wait to return.

Kiotari is not a traditional village with a local community; rather, it consists mainly of hotels and shops with private beaches. Most visitors here are families or couples seeking peace and relaxation by the sea, although locals also visit on summer weekends.

Even if you choose to swim at the superb beach just two kilometers from the villa, you can still enjoy traditional Greek cuisine at the nearby restaurants.
