This beautiful apartment occupies the entire ground floor of a bourgeois villa of the Belle Époque style, built in 1871. In a private, secure and highly coveted, this large apartment sleeps up to 8 people in comfort. It has a beautiful entrance hall opening on one side on a dining room, and the other on a living room with sofa (TV corner). Behind the living room we find a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, hob, fridge, coffee maker Dolce Gusto, oven, microwave, etc.). The lounge there is access to a large terrace with barbecue, table and chairs, lounge, all in a beautiful green scenery. For the night party, there is a room with 2 single beds, a second bedroom with a double bed 160x200 and a single bed, a third bedroom with a double bed 160x200, and even a room with a single bed, a total of 8 beds. Two bathrooms with shower and toilet complete the set. On the other side of the apartment, accessible from one of the bedrooms, you will have yet another terrace.
Since the area, about 50m, you will reach the famous "Sentier des Douaniers" along the sea on the rocks, and you will enjoy privileged access to very many coves.
The center of St Raphael is a 5 minute drive, and 800m away you will find a bakery and a take-away (traiteur).

Linen is not provided, but packs can be hired for €25/person/week, including sheets, bath towels, bathroom mats and kitchen rags (contact Les Vacances de Magali to book your linen packs at least one week before your arrival).

Lovely spot but some limitations

To make the most of this, you really need to have a car as the buses are relatively infrequent. The local beach, Peguiere, is a ten minute walk away But as the coastal path is quite tricky, if you have children, you need to follow the road which is not so desirable. There is direct access to the coastal path, despite What local residents tried to tell us. The Wi-Fi is very shaky and cannot be relied on. Also, it was not as clean as it should’ve been when we arrived with leftover food there. It really is like being in someone’s house as all the cupboards are full of stuff which you can use which is good in some ways, but it is all a bit cluttered. Gas barbecue was excellent as was the external terrace. That really made the place. Useful also to have two bikes to use. Using the hob was a bit tricky as the electricity kept cutting out while we were using it. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay there and Arjan was always very helpful.

Location, Location, Location!

Location is what this property is all about. Easy, convenient paths to the beaches in this gated community. However, the apartment is not suitable for little people. The kitchen has very little cabinetry which exposes all utensils including sharp knives, pans, glassware, etc to little hands. In the dining area there is an exposed floor to almost ceiling shelving unit of nothing but glassware. This unit does not have air conditioning which wouldn't have been a problem if you could open the windows in the evening but too many mosquito's. They supplied one large fan and a tiny desk top fan for the whole place which certainly wasn't enough for a 4 bedroom apartment. HOT is what we were the entire stay. Be aware everything is a' la carte and is not advertised until after you book. There is a 30 Euro charge for each person for sheets and towels per week. They require a 500 Euro cash deposit. Also, they were going to charge us 5 Euros per day for a high chair that we would have to go pick up at their office even though they knew we were coming with a baby. Needless to say we just ended up using the baby's car seat at dinner time. If you're looking for comfort and convenience and not a host of extra charges, this is not the place for you. Also, last minute, the management team chose not to come to the apartment for checkout. They had us drive to them to drop off the keys! Ps.We stayed in another place for a week thereafter, was so much nicer and everything was included.

Dear customer, I would like to thank you for your feedback, which we will use to improve our services. I would like to remind you that you were aware of the rental conditions (€500 deposit, additional linen hire with price indication, etc.) as you received and signed the contract beforehand. I would point out that you did not respect the conditions by not paying the deposit. Also, the linen is normally rented at 30€/person for 2 weeks, but you paid the rate of 20€/person for your 10-night stay. In addition, the highchair is rented for 5€ per STAY and not per day. This is simply to cover the cost of using the equipment. As for ventilation, given that this is a historic building, the thick walls help to insulate the flat from the heat. Obviously, this is not a new building, nor is it a hotel where all the rooms are air-conditioned. Finally, I'd like to point out that the baby's nappies that you put in the plant waste bin have perfumed the whole residence. We regret your bad experience and hope to be able to offer you accommodation equipped to your specifications for your next visit to our region.

Das Objekt liegt in einem wunderbaren ruhigen Gebiet etwas außerhalb von Saint-Raphael in geringer Entfernung zum Sentier Littoral und einer Badebucht.Die alte Villa aus dem Jahr 1871 hat sehr viel Charme, leider war auf den Terrassen abends keine Sonne mehr. Die Wohnungen im Haus waren alle unbewohnt, wir waren im Erdgeschoss die einzigen Gäste, was es schön ruhig machte.Das Inventar der Wohnung war sehr umfangreich, zum einen positiv, zum anderen war es erforderlich, viel umzuräumen, um Platz für die eigenen Sachen zu schaffen.Insgesamt eine sehr gute Ferienmöglichkeit für eine Familie mit kleinen Kindern.

Emplacement parfait pour une famille, au calme. La maison ne manque pas de charme mais un peu de soleil en cette saison. Sans doute plus appréciable aux mois chauds d’été. Vivement conseillé tout de même.

Appartement spacieux, idéal en famille, à proximité immédiate de la plage. Seuls bémols perfectibles: l'accessibilité du portail privatif de la résidence (absence de code pour les piétons) et contenance des ustensiles de cuisine un peu juste par rapport au nombre de personnes.
